Sui’s strongest argument is technological: it was designed as a high-throughput Layer-1 rather than retrofitted for scalability later. Its ecosystem is now expanding into areas including DeFi and tokenized assets. That creates opportunity, but also a demanding benchmark—Sui needs sustained applications and users, not merely attractive infrastructure. Ecosystem retention may ultimately matter more than launch activity.
