Arbitrum’s infrastructure continues evolving through protocol upgrades while its broader ecosystem competes for developers, liquidity and applications across Ethereum’s Layer-2 landscape. The technology is established, but competition is becoming harder. For ARB, one important issue is separating network success from token economics: strong Layer-2 usage does not automatically guarantee equivalent value capture for the governance token.
