$BTC$ETH$ZEC Great, my long position is finally about to break even, but what about the short position?
I originally thought locking positions to hedge the market would help, but it ended up trapping myself. Holding both long and short on the same coin at the same time seems to lock in losses on the surface, but actually just delays making a decision. Both positions occupy margin, and my mind is constantly unsettled.
$BTC long position, full 50x leverage, opened at 83772.5, currently 83700.5, unrealized loss 26.96U, return rate -4.29%.
$BTC short position, full 50x leverage, opened at 80995.5, currently 83700.5, unrealized loss 889.66U, return rate -166.98%.
Combined unrealized loss of 916.62U for both positions. The long is about to break even, but the short keeps losing more and more, really tough to handle!
This time I really paid my tuition fee; locking positions is not a hedging method at all. Once the market trends one-sided, losses will only get bigger.
High leverage can't rely on luck; if the trade is wrong, you can't avoid it. Always thinking about locking positions and holding on will only cause constant internal friction. I will try to avoid this kind of dual-direction holding in the future. #CPI与PPI公布在即,加息预期迎考验#俄乌或达成“能源停火”协议,进展待确认#台积电Q3营收创新高,10月15日财报还有哪些看点?
