THE HARDER THE CHALLENGE, THE SMARTER THE SOLUTION: 18-YEAR-OLD AMERICAN STUDENT WHO DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO CODE BUILT AN APP IN 1 MONTH, EARNED 3.4 BILLION VND IN 6 MONTHS
George Lampropoulos, an 18-year-old American student, developed the Wrestle AI app in about a month despite having no programming background. After 6 months, the app generated $131,863 in revenue, equivalent to approximately 3.4 billion VND. The product development cost was reported to be only about $1,100, roughly 29 million VND.
Wrestle AI uses AI to analyze wrestling match or training videos, assess techniques, point out strengths and weaknesses, and suggest improvement exercises. George came up with the idea from his own experience with the sport, then used the AI tool Rork to build the app without having to write code from scratch.
To find customers, George reached out to athletes and content creators in the wrestling community, helping the app reach the right user group with demand.

A noteworthy update on when the first cryptocurrency asset exchanges in Vietnam might officially start operating.
According to Mr. To Tran Hoa, representative of the State Securities Commission, 5 units have been initially selected to implement according to Resolution 05.
A few points you need to note:
🔸 May 2027: The mentioned deadline for units to complete remaining conditions, calculated as 1 year from the initial phase.
🔸 10,000 billion VND: The capital contribution requirement that units must meet.
🔸 Level 4 security: The IT system must meet security standards as regulated.
🔸 Possible earlier launch: It is not necessary to wait until May 2027. Any unit that completes all conditions earlier may be granted an operating license sooner.
Notably, Vietnam recorded up to 122.2 billion USD in cryptocurrency asset activity value during the period from July 2025 to June 2026, ranking 2nd in Southeast Asia.
The market is already there, and demand is not small. Now we just have to wait and see which unit has the capacity to become the first licensed crypto exchange in Vietnam.
