The shorts are really paying up this time
The funding situation looks interesting today. The latest rate is 0.0015%, back to positive, but yesterday (10/11) it was still at a negative -0.0074%—back then, the shorts were giving pocket money to the longs, and they were quite conscientious about it. The position side is even clearer: on 10/09, there was a net outflow of 397 million dollars in a single day, the harshest in a week; then on 10/10 and 10/11, there were two consecutive days of inflows, totaling about 90 million quietly entering near the zero line.
The script is old but effective: first pull out all the leverage, then let new money buy in at a low price. The rate dares not float, and positions dare not be heavy, indicating that this rebound still holds positions and is not a false rally.
Next door $BTC quietly recovers
$BTC current price is 83,580, up 0.99% in 24 hours, climbing out of the 80,344 pit by 4 points. The rebound high moved from 83,500 to 84,180, step by step, steadier than $ETH and slightly less elastic. On the position side, from 10/10 to 10/12, there were three consecutive days of inflows totaling about 135 million, with the rate at 0.0006% hovering near zero. To put it simply: $BTC is currently the "ballast stone," and whether the show is good depends on whether $ETH can break through the 2,586 barrier.
