$BTC$ETH Whether it's going up or down, you'll know after looking at this indicator
The answer lies on that thick red line, the STH cost benchmark, the average buying price of short-term holders
There is only one rule: the price above it is a bullish structure; if it falls, it is a bearish structure
This isn't something I made up; it's something that has been repeated in recent cycles. In a bull market, prices mostly run above this line; in bear markets, they run below. In the first half of this year, the price plunged from 90,000 yuan to 58,000 yuan, and the price was suppressed by this line all the way
And now?
Price: 77,000 yuan, Red Line: 71,000 yuan
The price is on the charts, so structurally, it's climbing at a visibly rapid pace, from 67,000 to 71,000 in just two weeks
The reason isn't complicated. In August, the price jumped from 62,000 to 82,000, and all the new money entering in the middle cost was above 70,000. Once they entered, they pushed up the average cost of the entire group
So this line will catch up by its own long legs, which means two things
First, the floor is raised, and there is someone protecting it below
Second, the safety pad is thinning. Two weeks ago, the price had a $10,000 buffer below the red line, but now it's only six thousand
The conclusion is clear
In terms of direction, as long as it doesn't fall below 71,000, a bullish structure is established—this is 'going upward'
