🎣 OKB holds at 109, down nearly 10% in October
It was above 120 at the beginning of the month, now steady around 109, with a low of 107 this week.
Compared to BTC grinding at 80,000, OKB is following more closely, but the trading volume has been thin, and the rebound strength is noticeably weaker.
⚠️ A pitfall: Don’t treat "platform coin + buyback" as a safe asset to hold onto stubbornly. Platform coins are highly correlated with the overall market; when liquidity dries up, they fall faster than BTC and are hard to exit quickly.
Ordinary investors should first look at whether the trading volume can increase before deciding to add more. Don’t rush to catch the bottom, and don’t chase during weak rebounds.
Do you think 109 can hold?

🎣 BTC stuck at 80,000, don’t get led by the Fed meeting rhythm
BTC at 80,000 USD has slid down from 84,000 this week and is now approaching this round number again.
Asian tech stocks are rising, but the crypto market is grinding on its own. The Fed’s two-day meeting has just started, and the result on Wednesday will most likely maintain the status quo. The market is waiting for a clear signal, volatility is narrowing, and trading volume is average.
⚠️ A pitfall: don’t chase longs in this range, and don’t cut losses just because of a brief dip below 80,000. Narrow-range oscillations are the easiest to get slapped back and forth, and leveraged users are especially prone to liquidation first.
Ordinary people should wait and watch, and act only when the direction is clear. Don’t rush to add positions, and don’t rush to exit.
Do you think this wave can hold 80,000?

🔥 NBA Suddenly Enters the Scene! Whose Business Is the Prediction Market Snatching?
While the crypto world is still debating when the next bull market will arrive, another sector has already brought its business to the NBA.
On October 26, the NBA announced a multi-year partnership with Polymarket and Kalshi, designating these two platforms as its official prediction market trading platforms.
🏀 Interestingly, the NBA not only permits this collaboration but will also provide branding and data resources, while imposing restrictions on the trading market to prevent insider trading.
This development made me rethink the value of prediction markets.
In the past, we were used to betting on a project's future by buying and selling tokens; now, more and more people are directly trading the probability of specific events occurring.
💰 Sports events, economic data, election results—all can become trading subjects.
But this also raises a question: Are prediction markets tools for pricing information, or just another form of gambling?
What I care more about is whether these platforms can establish sustained real demand rather than just short-term trading hype.
If prediction markets continue to expand, do you think they will become the next important sector in the crypto industry?

🔥 Is Wall Street starting to resist stock tokenization? 22 companies say no!
Recently, RWA has been hyped up, and everyone is looking forward to 24-hour on-chain trading of US stocks.
But a news report on October 23 poured cold water on this craze.
📊 According to Reuters, 22 companies have opposed having their stocks included on the tokenized trading platform supported by OKX and ICE, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, including Wells Fargo, Arm, and Intuit.
Interestingly, this project originally planned to support 63 US stocks, but now faces collective resistance from listed companies.
Why?
Stock tokenization is not just about changing the trading venue; it also involves shareholder rights, regulatory responsibilities, and control over trading.
💡 I think this issue exposes the real difficulty of RWA: just because it can be achieved technically doesn’t mean the traditional financial system is willing to accept it.
For the OKB and X Layer ecosystem, stock tokenization indeed has imaginative potential, but project advancement and token value growth cannot be directly equated.
The market likes to hype expectations early, but what truly determines long-term value is often the subtle resistance encountered during implementation.
Do you think 24-hour on-chain trading of US stocks will become mainstream in the future?

🚀 SOL has just completed a major upgrade, but on-chain transaction volume might suddenly drop?
Brothers, recently researching Solana, I found a pretty interesting change.
On October 21, Solana officially completed the Alpenglow mainnet upgrade, replacing the original TowerBFT consensus mechanism.
📊 The development team's announced goal was to reduce transaction finalization time from about 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds.
But here’s the interesting part.
After the upgrade, the total number of transactions counted on the Solana chain may significantly decrease.
Could the upgrade have actually made the network quieter?
Actually, no.
Previously, validator votes were also counted as on-chain transactions. The new mechanism changed the voting method, so these transactions are no longer counted under the original criteria.
Therefore, the total transaction volume before and after the upgrade can no longer be directly compared.
I think this issue is more worth studying than the short-term price fluctuations of SOL.
⚠️ Technical upgrades can improve experience but do not guarantee a price increase. What really matters is whether actual user transactions, fee revenue, and capital can continue to grow.
If a chain gets faster and faster but doesn’t bring more real demand, will the market continue to pay for the technology?

🔥 The crypto world is still waiting for a bull market, but HSBC has already integrated stablecoins into its payment app!
Good morning, brothers. Today I saw a piece of news that feels more worth pondering than some altcoin suddenly surging 10%.
On October 23, HSBC officially launched the Hong Kong dollar stablecoin RedCoin (RCHKD), integrated into its PayMe payment platform.
📊 Over 3.3 million users will gradually gain access, and it can be used in payment scenarios at more than 100,000 merchants.
Previously, when talking about stablecoins, people often thought of USDT, exchanges, and on-chain transfers. Now, traditional banks are trying to let ordinary people pay directly with stablecoins.
I think this is the change worth paying attention to.
💰 However, 3.3 million is the potential user base, not the number of people actually using it yet.
The real test for stablecoins is not how many are issued, but whether people use them daily to buy things, transfer money, and settle payments.
While coin prices fluctuate daily, the financial infrastructure might be quietly changing.
If in the future WeChat and Alipay also have similar functions, would you still think stablecoins are just tools for the crypto world?

The crypto world in 2026 is so surreal: BTC dropped from 98,000 to 58,000, then surged back to 80,000! What exactly have we been through?
Major events, capital changes, core sectors, and year-end outlook Observation period: January 1 to October 27, 2026 Brothers, 2026 is not over yet, but looking back at the past ten months in the crypto world, my biggest feeling can be summed up in one sentence: There are still many stories of making money, but the number of people who can actually keep the profits in their accounts may not be as many as imagined. At the beginning of the year, BTC peaked near $98,000, then adjusted all the way down, even dropping to around $58,000 from late June to early July. In August, there was a monthly rebound of over 25%, and in September it climbed back above $80,000. By the end of October, the market was again fluctuating repeatedly around $80,000. Some firmly remained bullish at the highs, some panicked and exited at the lows, and some barely endured the decline but sold too early during the rebound. BTC is like this, and holders of ETH, SOL, OKB, and many altcoins probably feel even more complicated. What exactly happened in the crypto world during these ten months? Has institutional capital truly changed the market? Why is Ethereum still weak? Do public chains and MEME still have opportunities? How should we view the remaining two months? I want to use an article to put these questions together and reorganize them. 1. First, look at BTC: 2026 is not a one-sided bear market, but a fierce capital re-pricing If you only look at the current price near $80,000, it seems BTC hasn't changed much this year. But stretching the timeline reveals how dramatic the process has been. 📉 January to February: From optimistic expectations to rapid adjustment
🔥 BTC is still struggling at 80,000, but ENA suddenly surged in volume! Is the capital starting to shift direction?
Good morning, brothers!
The recent market has indeed been exhausting, with BTC repeatedly fighting for $80,000 and ETH showing no significant improvement. But there was an interesting set of data yesterday.
📊 According to CoinDesk data on October 26, ENA once rose by 8.36%, contract open interest increased by 16.85%, and trading volume expanded by 81.51%.
At the same time, DeFi was the only CoinDesk crypto sector index that went up.
The overall market lacks momentum, but localized capital is starting to get active.
This makes me wonder: is the market searching for a new trading direction?
However, ENA’s rise accompanied by a rapid increase in open interest also means higher leverage participation. The heat is real, but we can’t conclude from this data alone that capital has fully shifted to DeFi.
💰 What I want to observe now is whether ENA can maintain strength while the broader market continues to fluctuate, and whether the trading volume can sustain.
There are opportunities even in a bear market, but the biggest risk is mistaking a local rebound for the start of a bull market for the entire sector.
Do you think DeFi will be the next direction for capital rotation?

🔥 The most unsettling thing about BTC is not falling below 80,000, but this money!
Brothers, today I reviewed last week's ETF data and found a pretty interesting phenomenon.
On Monday, the US spot BTC ETF had a net inflow of $527 million, and the market was still expecting institutional funds to re-enter.
But by Thursday, the single-day net outflow reached $636 million.
📉 In and out, the attitude changes faster than the coin price.
This is also why I have been reluctant to chase the rebound recently.
Many people think that with ETF support, BTC won't fall much further. But ETFs don't just buy without selling; institutional funds also adjust positions based on interest rates and risk preferences.
However, a single-day outflow cannot be directly interpreted as a collective institutional retreat.
💰 Right now, as BTC repeatedly battles the 80,000 mark, what I want to see is not a sudden big bullish candle, but several consecutive days of real money willing to take the position.
The market can be driven up by sentiment, but to go far, someone has to keep buying continuously.
In this round of adjustment, do you think institutions are just rotating positions or have they started to turn cautious?

🔥 A few days ago, people were still bullish, but Hayes suddenly pulled out! What did the crypto big shots smell?
Brothers, today I saw a piece of news that I think is more worth pondering than BTC dropping below $80,000.
BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes announced that he has exited the directional trading positions of his Maelstrom fund.
📉 On-chain monitoring agencies estimate that about $22.28 million in crypto assets are involved, including about 6,400 ETH, as well as tokens like ENA and UNI.
Interestingly, not long ago he publicly expressed a bullish stance, but now he chooses to temporarily step aside.
He said something very thought-provoking: the market may need to fall first before it can rise again.
⚠️ I don't think a big shot selling coins means the market has peaked; they can also make wrong judgments.
But against the backdrop of BTC repeatedly contesting $80,000 and the upcoming Federal Reserve meeting, this proactive risk reduction behavior deserves attention.
The question now is not whether anyone is bullish, but who is still willing to put real money in to keep buying.
If even the bulls start shrinking their positions, is it necessary for ordinary investors to rush to go all in?
