Only the crypto world is open on the weekend
After global stock markets collectively closed higher on Friday and went home for the weekend: US Dow Jones +0.83%, Nasdaq +0.64%, S&P +0.59%, all closing the week with gains; China's A-share Shanghai Composite closed flat at 3,813 with a +0.05% gain; Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index +1.79%, the brightest in Asia-Pacific. On Saturday and Sunday, global risk controls collectively clock out, only the crypto world stays 7×24 at their desks.
Two macro nails, one pulled out, one left in: September nonfarm payrolls increased by only 29,000, far below the expected 90,000, and the probability of a rate hike in October dropped from above 50% to around 20%, this is the one pulled out; the one left is the White House specially setting up an investigative committee to probe Fed Governor Cook, the controversy over central bank independence is growing, and the risk of the midterm elections has not yet been fully priced in. External sentiment towards crypto is neutral to slightly warm, very restrained, whether it is $BTC, $ETH, or $OKB.
