🔥Breaking news: According to Bloomberg, Hong Kong crypto payment company RedotPay is considering secretly filing for a US IPO before the end of this year.
At the same time, the company is also discussing a new round of pre-IPO financing, with a target valuation reportedly reaching 4 to 5 billion USD.
From crypto payments to rushing for a US stock market listing, RedotPay's moves are worth watching, with final progress still pending official confirmation.
😭 I've communicated many times with them about this crypto card; the compliance is very strong, truly worthy of being the global Top 1.

FOMC will announce the interest rate decision on the 29th.
Interestingly, the last time a similar situation occurred, bitcoin:native happened to bottom out on the same day, then strongly rebounded 16% within the following week.
History doesn't simply repeat itself, but sometimes it does rhyme.👀
Short liquidation in progress...DYRO.

Once a wallet address is made public, the position size and trading rhythm can easily be monitored by the entire market.
For individuals, this might just be a privacy issue, but for institutions, it often directly affects whether their strategies can remain effective.
Institutions moving funds on-chain have always been caught in a dilemma: the financial status needs to be externally verifiable, yet the trading strategy cannot be fully exposed.
In many scenarios, the other party only needs to confirm "whether the balance meets a certain threshold" without seeing the full transaction history or position details.
This is also why I have recently been paying attention to @primus_labs.
They combine zkTLS and FHE. zkTLS can verify that data indeed comes from a certain website or API and has not been tampered with during transmission, all without exposing the original content; FHE allows data to be computed on while still encrypted. One solves "where the data comes from and whether it is trustworthy," the other solves "how sensitive data can be used without being seen."
The official website showcases reserve proofs and confidential financial products, giving this combination a more concrete application.
Institutions can provide externally verifiable proofs when needed while reducing exposure of sensitive information like account details and strategy rhythms. For institutions aiming to operate more compliantly and auditable on-chain, this ability to "prove but not fully disclose" has practical value.
Of course, having the right technical direction is just the first step.
What deserves long-term attention next is exactly which information it can protect in real business, and what speed and cost can be achieved in proof generation and verification. These implementation details are more important than pure concepts.
I will continue to follow this direction.

Many people have opened accounts with Charles Schwab in the US, but these accounts have been idle for a long time; not many actually use them... it's just too difficult to use.
In fact, besides Charles Schwab and Interactive Brokers (IBKR), there is another US-based broker worth paying attention to: BBAE Securities.
All three operate under the US securities regulatory system, but each has its own advantages and drawbacks.
▹ Charles Schwab | Established broker, suitable for long-term investment
Charles Schwab's brand reputation, research resources, and comprehensive financial services are indeed impressive. Online trading of US stocks and ETFs is usually commission-free.
However, for some international users, the functions are relatively complex, and there may be restrictions on fractional share trading, fund transfers, and account permissions.
▹ Interactive Brokers IBKR | Professional trading, global markets
Interactive Brokers' strengths lie in its wide variety of trading products, broad market coverage, and competitive fees. Whether it's US stocks, options, or global asset allocation, IBKR's professional capabilities are indeed strong.
But there are too many features, so beginners need time to get familiar. Also, the review and documentation requirements for new accounts from mainland China residents are now stricter, making account opening more difficult than before.
▹ BBAE Securities | Simple operation, friendly Chinese experience
BBAE is also somewhat well-known among Chinese investors, mainly focusing on US stock investment. Its interface is relatively simple, and Chinese language support is good.
Eligible US stock and ETF trades can be commission-free, and basic operations like daily stock trading and portfolio viewing are quite straightforward.
Of course, BBAE still lags behind mature brokers like Schwab and IBKR in global market coverage, professional trading tools, and comprehensive financial services.
It is also worth mentioning that all three are involved in the US securities regulatory system, but the specific account entities, custody arrangements, and protection scopes still need to be verified separately.
The US SIPC provides protection up to $500,000 for eligible securities accounts, including a cash limit of $250,000, but this does not mean investments won't lose money, nor does it guarantee absolute broker safety.
Charles Schwab is suitable for investors who hold long-term, value brand and comprehensive services; Interactive Brokers is better for professional trading and global asset allocation; BBAE can be an option for those who prefer a Chinese interface and mainly trade US stocks.
Actually, there's no need to open just one brokerage account. I think you can mix and match according to your needs.
The worst thing is to fuss around opening a bunch of accounts and end up not using any of them efficiently. 😂
