90% of beginners practice in the wrong direction; trading intuition isn't developed by trading small coins
Brothers, I am a crypto trader from OKX Planet. Today, no fancy tricks, just some life-saving experience: try to place your trades on BTC and ETH.
When I first entered the circle, I also chased small coins, but ended up either getting stopped out by spikes or taught a lesson by liquidity. Later I realized that mainstream coins aren’t "slow to rise," but have a cleaner structure and better liquidity, making them the best for practicing trading intuition. If you watch BTC and ETH’s key levels every day, record how they fake breakouts, how they retrace, and how volume expands, over time your feel for the market will naturally develop.
My approach is simple:
1. Focus only on $BTC and $ETH daily, first determine the direction on the larger timeframes, then look at the 1-hour and 15-minute rhythms
2. Don’t trade frequently; wait for positions you understand
3. Keep position size fixed, set stop losses in advance, don’t change your plan because of a single spike
4. Review every trade: why you entered, why you exited, and whether emotions got the better of you.
Small coins can be watched, but don’t let them disrupt your rhythm. Trading intuition isn’t mystical; it’s muscle memory from repeated observation of mainstream coins. First, stabilize your feel, then talk about profits. Remember: chase fewer hot topics, watch BTC and ETH more, and trading will be much clearer.

Institutions swept $ETH with 560 million, ZEC first surged 40%: Is BTC bottoming?
$BTC selling pressure is exhausting
On-chain sell exhaustion indicators have hit historic highs, Richard Byers directly states "the bottom is solidifying, not a bear market." The price rebounded from the CPI-driven 79,725 to 82,900, with 81,500 repeatedly supported. After ETF net outflows on October 14, there have been two consecutive days of slight inflows, with institutional sentiment shifting from cautious to exploratory.
$ETH value recovery after excessive FUD
At $2,404, but DeFi TVL remains steady at $119 billion, ETF funds continue to strengthen, and RWA and PayFi narratives are still fermenting in the Ethereum ecosystem. A stronger signal comes from institutions: Abraxas Capital single-handedly bought 242,652 ETH, about $561 million, with large transfers and institutional wallet balances growing in sync.
$ZEC halving countdown + institutional endorsement
A 40% rally against the trend in 24 hours, reaching $743, with the privacy sector collectively following the rise. The halving is hard-coded for November 18, Grayscale entered with a $102 million fund, and Arthur Hayes lists ZEC as the core position for family offices second only to BTC.

Over the weekend, while others shut down their computers, I fully loaded my long positions.
This time, I pre-positioned on the Nasdaq: 91.67% Monday effect + hammer reversal.
The market fuel is ready.
Hedge funds have net sold global AI stocks for five consecutive days, with net buying positions wiped out since 2025; yet Nasdaq 100 futures formed a rare hammer reversal candlestick, indicating selling momentum exhaustion, short positions piled high, and a short squeeze condition maturing. Historical stats also favor the bulls: Nasdaq 100 closes up on Mondays 91.67% of the time, and the tech stock Monday effect is even more persistent.
Individual stock catalysts are not priced in.
$SNDK: JPMorgan defied the trend by raising the target price from $1000 to $1300; Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron's 2027 capacity is sold out early, leaving a storage supply gap.
$NVDA: Jensen Huang said "demand has exceeded supply capacity," locking in a storage supply deal with SK Hynix potentially worth up to $500 billion on Friday night; weekend positive news is yet to be priced in.
$TSLA: Roadster flight demonstration reignited SpaceX merger expectations; Morgan Stanley set a $400 target price. The pre-earnings sentiment battle is short-term fuel.
Core judgment: Nasdaq is highly likely to rally across the board at Monday's open; the weekend is the last boarding window.
Action: Don't wait for the open to chase.
Hold positions overnight on-chain over the weekend to capture Monday's opening gap up. When the direction is right, hesitation itself is a cost.

8 long positions, all admitted to the "mild ICU"
I am the attending physician and the only family member. Beds 1 to 8: $ETH, $SOL, $HYPE and 8 other long positions. Unified diagnosis: unrealized loss of 30%. All leverage below 5x—considered mild ICU, no intubation, but the candlestick ECG is twitching.
Checking OKX daily like a ward round: this one says "wait a bit longer," that one says "the fundamentals haven't changed"; HYPE is the best at pretending, pushing ecosystem news even when falling. I nod: hmm, strong will to survive.
Three lessons from holding positions:
1. Low leverage is a seatbelt, not a resurrection armor;
2. 8 diversified positions are not risk diversification, but opening chain stores losing together;
3. Don't treat "long-term optimism" as a stop-loss roommate—it doesn't pay rent.
Current status: no adding positions, no cutting losses, no playing dead, only treating the stop-loss line as the community gate—can come home late, but can't slam the door. An average loss of 30% means there is still room, and reminds me: traders' humor is all inflated by unrealized losses.
Today's ward round conclusion: the 8 kids' vital signs are stable, my blood pressure is high. Closing the app, posting on the planet, pretending this is "position management teaching." Green salad is on me, no one fights for it.

ZEC bets on privacy as a must-have, VVV bets on AI cash flow, which is stronger?
$ZEC: Privacy pool "engine swap" + extreme short squeeze
Ironwood NU6.3 upgrade has been officially activated, the old Orchard pool is restricted, and funds must migrate through the turnstile to the new shielded pool, embedding "verifiable circulating supply" into the protocol rules. The derivatives side is even more interesting: OKX funding rates are extremely negative, shorts are so crowded they are "subsidizing longs," open interest dropped from 196 million to 194 million, leveraged funds are retreating, and the basis is deeply discounted. On-chain, a whale simultaneously withdrew 26,000 ZEC (about $31.93 million) from Binance and Kraken.
$VVV: Series A $65 million, founders sold none
Venice AI completed a $65 million Series A round, valued at $1 billion, led by Dragonfly. The key is not the amount raised but the structure: selling equity, not tokens. Founders hold over 30 million VVV (more than 37.5% of total supply) with zero sales to date; investors’ tokens are locked for 1 year and then linearly unlocked over 3 years, with daily new circulation under 6,000 tokens, accounting for only about 0.2% of daily trading volume.

🔥OKX's number one strategic order holder🔥
Positions: $ETH, $SOL, BNB, HYPE
A trader's experience in holding orders boils down to four sentences:
1. First distinguish between "logic intact" and "stubborn beyond help"; the former is holding orders, the latter is holding bombs.
2. Don't treat leverage like an oxygen tank; maxing it out isn't bravery, it's handing in your resume for liquidation.
3. Adding to a position is like adding spice—the more you add, the more intense it gets. Check your margin ratio first, then your heartbeat.
4. Stop loss is a seatbelt, not surrender; funding rate is an alarm clock, not a love letter.
ETH is like a seasoned veteran, SOL like a partygoer, BNB like a landlord collecting rent, and $HYPE like a rising internet celebrity. All four showing floating losses means my taste is quite consistent. Now I treat my positions like weight management: survive first, then talk about rebounds; watch fewer K-lines, get more rest. Holding orders is fine, but holding until insomnia is not—the market doesn't lack opportunities, it lacks capital.
Summary: Four positions, four scripts, I don't guess any of them. Predictions are written for the market; stop losses are written for myself. Holding orders is fine, but holding until you treat predictions as faith is writing a love letter to liquidation.

ETF withdrew 1 billion in two days, whales increased 90,000 $BTC on the 30th
🔬Technical upgrade: Coinbase released a post-quantum roadmap, BIP-360/P2MR entered draft stage, ML-DSA and other post-quantum signature candidates. Custodians have started engineering preparations.
💰Capital movement: ETF net outflow of 744 million on 10/14, 262 million on the 15th; on-chain whale holdings rose from 2.94 million to 3.03 million BTC, with the fastest accumulation speed since February 2026 on the 30th. New whale cost is about 77,000, realized market value share increased from 18% to 33%; miner sell pressure greatly reduced.
📉Technical adjustment: Glassnode: resistance at 88,000 and 100,000 as cost barriers above; support at 78,000 "real market average price" and 81,500 ETF cost below. On 10/15 BTC dipped to 79,950 then pulled back to 82,500, currently at 82,331. Options IV only 35%, max pain at 83,000, low volatility brewing a breakout.
🌐Information: US Treasury withdrew draft restrictions on coin mixing/self-custody, CFTC advancing regulatory framework; but 10-year US Treasury yield at 5.20%, AI stocks evaporated over 1 trillion, macro pressures valuations. BTC and USD 90-day correlation at -0.40.

Traders don't deceive traders; there are three things off in this adjustment.
$BTC |81,000 was touched three times, each time supported
Glassnode data: BTC real market average is 78,000, US spot ETF average holding cost is 81,500—almost coinciding with the current price. In plain language: institutions are also losing money at this level. Retail investors are selling, while whales quietly scooped up 15,000 BTC in 72 hours. BlackRock IBIT had a net inflow of $16.78 million yesterday; don't just look at the panic, also see who's buying.
$ETH |ETF outflows for 10 consecutive days, whales increase holdings by 166,000 ETH
ETH ETF outflows continued for 10 days, but whales increased holdings by over 166,000 ETH in 72 hours, worth over $400 million. On October 13, ETH ETF net inflow was $24.84 million, ending the outflow. Some curse ETH is done while quietly adding positions—this is a cognitive gap.
$SOL |Price is dead, but on-chain activity is smoking hot
Active addresses surged to 1.88 million, a 13-month high, stablecoin supply exceeded 15 billion. Price drops, but the chain is busy; Peter Brandt's cup-and-handle pattern is still intact, only a breakout above 240 counts as a real takeoff.
As usual: watch data for panic, watch candlesticks for FOMO. Hold BTC as a base position, wait for ETF positive signals for ETH, don't heavily hold SOL and stubbornly resist.
