Bitcoin’s recovery from $80.4K to $84K squeezed bearish traders hard. Short liquidations surged to $262M within an hour, while shorts made up 65% of total liquidations over 24 hours.
Many traders saw the previous decline as a reason to short every rebound, treating $83K as firm resistance. But when a trade becomes too crowded, a breakout can trigger a sharp squeeze.
