USD1 doesn’t need to beat USDT on every trade. It needs to become the stablecoin traders keep ready. Aster just listed a SpaceX perp, alongside gold, oil, SanDisk and SK Hynix — all priced and settled in USD1. And honestly, the bigger story here might not be SpaceX at all. USDT became hard to replace because traders already keep it on exchanges. Most markets are quoted in it.
