$NEAR is moving against the market trend. Traders keep shorting and placing stop-loss or liquidation levels just slightly above the previous high.
But by doing so, they keep getting stopped out or liquidated. Currently, there is a large liquidation zone around 5.5, suggesting the possibility of the price continuing to break higher.
