Gaming adoption is a different test for blockchain technology because players generally care about gameplay first, not blockchain infrastructure. Immutable’s challenge is therefore practical: can blockchain features become nearly invisible while still providing useful ownership and marketplace functionality? If game developers can deliver that experience at scale, the sector could have a stronger foundation than purely speculative gaming narratives.
