About SaylorPutsAdoptionFirst
After the CLARITY Act stalled in a Senate procedural vote, US crypto regulation is exploring alternatives. Michael Saylor said the industry should prioritize adoption for two years over compromises he believes could constrain innovation, lowering costs, widening access and adding financial uses. The SEC and CFTC are advancing tokenized stock and onchain finance rules under existing powers, while lawmakers seek bipartisan cooperation. Focus is whether these paths can become a lasting framework.

$BTC is up 17.5% this month, despite Congress failing to pass the Crypto Clarity Act.
On September 15,Senate failed to advance the bill.
Then regulators moved quickly:
September 17: The SEC approved limited on-chain trading of tokenized stocks under a temporary exemption.
September 17: The CFTC allowed developers to build passive derivatives software without registering as brokers, including for crypto markets.
September 18: The CFTC filed new rulemaking for crypto transactions and markets.

STRATEGY JUST BOUGHT ANOTHER 950 BITCOIN.
The company purchased $80.8 MILLION worth of $BTC between September 14 and September 20.
Strategy now holds 846,000 Bitcoin.
Saylor just keeps buying!

The regulator sent a White House initiative on regulating transactions and markets. The document is still at a preliminary stage and its contents aren't disclosed. Earlier the heads of the CFTC and SEC already stated their readiness to work out rules for the crypto market on their own amid problems advancing the CLARITY Act in Congress. These initiatives are also being publicly picked up by Saylor, the head of CB and others
✏️ Oh really. The fact that the US is dragging its feet on ClarityAct is already throwing everyone off balance and real action is starting. Apparently they don't want years of regulatory foreplay and a mess at the end of it
So. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has started preparing its own rules for the crypto market

Michael Saylor’s Bitcoin Strategy: How Strategy Built a Massive Bitcoin Treasury
Michael Saylor transformed Strategy into one of the most prominent corporate Bitcoin holders by making Bitcoin the company’s core treasury asset.
Strategy’s approach is simple but aggressive: raise capital through equity and debt, use part of that capital to acquire Bitcoin, and hold BTC as a long-term treasury asset.
The strategy focuses on increasing the amount of Bitcoin backing each share over time, rather than simply trying to trade Bitcoin for short-term profits.
As of 2026, Strategy holds more than 845,000 BTC, making its Bitcoin treasury one of the largest held by a publicly traded company.
The key idea behind Saylor’s strategy is:
Raise Capital → Buy BTC → Hold BTC → Increase BTC Per Share → Repeat
This approach has made Strategy and MSTR closely tied to Bitcoin’s long-term performance, while also creating additional risks from leverage, financing costs, and Bitcoin price volatility.$BTC

CRYPTO THINGS YOU MAY HAVE MISSED — LAST 24 HOURS | 20 SEPTEMBER 2026
The CLARITY Act didn’t collapse because Washington simply turned against crypto.
The hidden fight was over who controls the yield on digital dollars.
🧵👇
1/2 — STABLECOIN REWARDS HELPED BREAK THE DEAL
A new post-mortem reports that Coinbase withdrew support amid disagreements over restrictions affecting its stablecoin-rewards business.
Banks fear yield-bearing stablecoins could drain deposits. Crypto platforms see rewards as essential to competing with traditional finance.
Ethics concerns, political volatility and wider industry disagreements also contributed—so blaming one company alone would oversimplify the failure.
Investor takeaway: stablecoin yield is becoming a major policy fault line. It could shape future rules for exchanges, banks, $USDC, ethereum:0x8292bb45bf1ee4d140127049757c2e0ff06317ed and tokenised cash. Wall Street Journal
2/2 — THE LEGISLATIVE ROUTE IS NOW HARDER
The industry entered negotiations largely united but emerged divided over stablecoin rewards, regulatory authority and ethics restrictions.
That makes a quick revival of comprehensive legislation less likely.
The SEC and CFTC can still advance individual rules—but agency action is narrower and potentially easier for a future administration to reverse than legislation passed by Congress.
🔍 No verified new network catalyst appeared today for Ripple/XRPL, Hedera, Stellar or XDC. Saturday’s Batch V1.1 coverage described an upgrade already in its activation countdown; it should not be repackaged as another new $XRP announcement. No fresh development for hedera-hashgraph:native, stellar:native or xdce-crowd-sale:native—and no Sunday US ETF session.
The hidden battle is no longer simply crypto versus regulators. It is crypto platforms versus banks over who controls digital-dollar deposits and yield.
Who wins that fight—banks or stablecoin platforms?
