A token burn is not a business model.
The real question is what funds it.
When a protocol generates revenue and uses it to buy tokens, the economic link can be measured: fees → purchases → supply reduction.
Burning tokens without recurring demand is a different story.
That’s why the debate around $HYPE’s buyback-and-burn mechanics matters more than the headline burn count.
Track revenue. Track transactions. Then judge scarcity.
