October's 86K ADP gain and a 51.4 ISM services employment reading suggest hiring has not stalled in the private economy. That makes the roughly 60K payroll consensus worth watching as a test of whether weakness is truly broad.
A stronger print could revive December hike expectations and pressure Treasuries and the dollar, though ADP and ISM remain imperfect guides to payrolls.
