Two ways to compete
Singapore finale. Selected teams demo live on 6 October and compete for the main awards in each track. Most of the prize pool sits here.
Remote Build. Teams that cannot travel submit on the same timeline and compete for the Best Remote Demo awards. Remote teams do not attend or present at the finale.

2. Choose how you will compete
Every team chooses one primary build track and one participation route.
Your project may use both X Layer and OKX AI. Choose the track that best represents the core of your product. Solo builders are welcome.

3. Build requirements and resources
Using an existing project
Existing projects are allowed. Judges assess only the work completed during the official build period.If you use an existing project, provide:
A clear list of features and integrations added
Commit history or other evidence supporting the new work
A demo showing the new functionality
A new listing or deployment alone does not qualify. It may count if it includes meaningful new functionality, such as a working X Layer integration, smart contract, user flow, agent service or payment flow.

4. Support
The private Telegram group is the main support channel. It covers programme updates and deadline reminders, X Layer and RWA questions, OKX AI questions, and form, rules and submission questions.
5. Submit your project
Submit one complete project package per team through the project submission form by 25 September 2026 at 23:59 UTC.

After you submit
You will receive a submission receipt by email. If any required information or links are missing or inaccessible, we will contact your team by email or Telegram. Please reply within 24 hours.
In-person finalists will receive written confirmation by 30 September.
Remote submissions will be reviewed separately for the Best Remote Demo awards.
6. Judging and prizes
How projects will be assessed
Projects will be assessed holistically based on innovation, product completeness, user value, technical execution, meaningful integration with X Layer and/or OKX AI, growth potential and contribution to the OKX ecosystem.
Detailed scoring, weighting and judging deliberations will not be published. Final decisions are made in accordance with the Hackathon Terms and Conditions.
Prize pool
The confirmed US$100,000 prize pool is allocated across four categories:
Build a Market: US$35,000
Build a Company: US$35,000
Flash Track: US$15,000
Remote Build: US$15,000
The detailed award distribution within each category will be shared after project submissions close.
Prizes may be distributed in stages, subject to eligibility, verification, applicable requirements and the full Terms and Conditions. Distribution details will be provided to winning teams in writing.
7. Rules and FAQs
Core rules
Teams may have up to four members. Solo entries are allowed.
Each participant may join only one team.
Roster changes must be reported to yanyi.ho@okg.com
Teams must own or have permission to use all submitted code, content and assets.
Open-source tools and libraries may be used with appropriate attribution.
AI development tools may be used. Teams remain responsible for the submission and must be able to explain their work.
Plagiarism, false claims or failure to meet track requirements may result in disqualification.
Participants must meet the eligibility requirements in the full Terms and Conditions.
Intellectual property
Teams retain ownership of their submissions. By participating, teams give OKX limited permission to review, display and feature their projects for hackathon operations, judging, event coverage and promotion, as described in the full Terms and Conditions.
Singapore finale and travel
The finale takes place on 6 October. Venue and exact timings to be revealed at a later date.
Only teams confirmed in writing may attend and present.
Detailed timing and demo instructions will be sent to finalists.
OKX does not cover travel, accommodation, visas or personal expenses.
Do not book non-refundable travel until your place is confirmed in writing.
