Starting with a single chart,
all content is made up.
Bitcoin rose a bit yesterday,
but other altcoins didn't move much.
However, I caught an air coin,
made a 10% gain and ran.
Then it surged 30%,
a facepalm-worthy event.
Judging by experience, I closed the position,
subconsciously expecting an A-shaped curve.
There are several curve types,
and it ended with sideways movement at a high point.
Like Schrödinger's cat,
without opening the box,
you don't know if it's dead or alive.
If I hadn't closed the position,
it might have followed the A-shaped trend.
After doing so many contracts,
there's no return.
No returns in October either,
any wins were given back.
For ultra-short-term trades,
closing the position is your actual return. With BTC's current market, the easiest mistake to make is rushing to chase right after a breakout.
Just now, it surged above 84000 again, reaching a high of 84177, but it couldn't hold and fell back to around 83650.
I checked the hourly chart; previously, BTC rebounded steadily from 80351, lingering around 83000 for quite a while. This time it finally pushed up, but after the spike, it immediately pulled back. Currently, the BOLL middle band is near 83324, the upper band close to 83995. Although the price is still above the middle band, this spike-and-fall candlestick at least indicates that the selling pressure above 84000 cannot be ignored.
I won't just assume a new upward trend has started simply because it touched 84000.
Next, the focus is on two key levels: first, whether it can hold around 83300; second, whether it can firmly stay above 84000 again. If it pulls back without breaking 83300 and then breaks through 84000 with volume, this breakout will be more convincing. Conversely, if repeated attempts to push higher are smashed down, we need to be cautious about it continuing to grind within the range.
Honestly, in this kind of market, the real test isn't whether you're bullish or bearish, but whether you can resist chasing orders at critical points. Chasing before a confirmed breakout risks getting trapped on a pullback; shorting hastily on a drop might just be shorting near support.
I'd rather miss out on some gains than turn a potentially good trade into a back-and-forth battle. This is now a typical low-volume consolidation phase, not the time to chase gains. Have you adjusted your position pacing this week? The weekend market is as quiet as a dozing cat, but I know this kind of calm is the most deceptive. BTC is oscillating narrowly around 83000, with resistance above and support around 82000; ETH is stuck around 2500, and without a strong breakout above previous highs, it's hard to escape sideways trading; SOL is even weaker, gently moving around 109, with both buyers and sellers reluctant to act. In this kind of market, I usually don't rush to add positions because what really matters is not the price but where the capital preference is leaning. Institutions are still continuously positioning, but BTC hasn't strengthened accordingly, indicating that current buyers are more selective and slower, willing to buy on pullbacks but unwilling to chase in quiet times. ETF subscriptions/redemptions, macro speeches, geopolitical surprises, and large unlocks could all trigger a break in the weekend balance. The bullish path is: sideways trading washes out floating positions, waiting for a news or volume confirmation, BTC stabilizes above resistance, leading ETH to catch up, and risk appetite then spreads to SOL and altcoins. The bearish risk is: if BTC can't rise for a long time and ETH fails to break resistance, capital will continue to concentrate in a few high-certainty assets, making altcoin rebounds more likely to be bull traps. My small mistake this week was adding to my position too early during the oscillation; I later realized that during quiet phases, the most important thing is not to predict direction but to control pacing and preserve reserves. The weekend is suitable for review, not for getting carried away. My judgment is: this is more like consolidation and waiting for signals, not a trend start. Keep positions light.$NEAR bounced back within two days, showing strong momentum. The current core narrative of NEAR can be summarized as: "Chain abstraction + AI Agent's cross-chain settlement and execution layer," no longer just a traditional high-performance public chain.
Chain abstraction: Users or applications no longer need to manually handle multiple wallets, cross-chain bridges, and different Gas tokens; the goal is to complete multi-chain asset and application interactions with a single account.
AI Agent infrastructure: NEAR is positioning itself as the underlying network that enables AI agents to securely hold permissions with privacy, execute tasks cross-chain, and perform settlements.
Privacy and security are the new hot topics for speculation.$ZEC is just one step away from resistance; standing above and standing firm are different
$ZEC is up 3.91% in 24 hours, currently priced at 1,269.8, only 2.35% away from the 1-hour resistance at 1,299.66. This kind of position often creates an illusion: if it briefly crosses over during the session, the breakout is considered complete. The real decisive answer is whether it can hold after crossing over.
Positions are more honest than adjectives. The current price is about 4.01% away from the 1-hour support at 1,218.87 and about 2.35% away from the resistance at 1,299.66. Only by comparing these two distances can we clearly see which side requires more evidence. Looking only at the price change makes it easy to mistake the space already covered as space yet to start.
The opposing side also has a clear invalidation line. Breaking below the 1-hour support at 1,218.87 indicates that short-term support has failed the test; if it continues to break the 4-hour support at 1,112.77, the previous strong or recovery judgment must be rewritten. Opinions can be maintained, but evidence cannot be ignored when it changes.Hot Coin Data Ranking|Last 15 Minutes

$MAGIC strikes a sudden counterattack, $NEAR shoots a cold arrow. I was supposed to short, and my account was about to bleed, but fortunately I closed the position quickly. My agility training wasn't in vain, or else I'd be stuck in a deep loss again.
The gap between coins is big; licking the blade means bleeding. If your move isn't sharp, you're just a chump. Cut losses fast; hesitate for a second, and even your underwear stays on the exchange. Nowadays, when playing with coins, it's not about fearing mistakes, but fearing being stubborn. Staying alive is more important than pride.

#俄罗斯放宽柴油出口,霍尔木兹风险仍支撑油价 $MAGIC up 38% today, open interest down 4.2%: Have MAGIC's shorts all been squeezed out?
Reviewing MAGIC, the anomaly first: up 121% in a week, then another 38% in one day, yet after scanning Chinese and English news, there isn't a single positive catalyst for it. The rise is purely sector rotation money.
The market action is also strange. It touched 0.1637 on Saturday, dropped 29% in an hour, then climbed back to 0.1357 this week. Open interest actually dropped 4.2%, and the funding rate flipped from -0.14% to positive — shorts have basically been squeezed out, and now longs and shorts are not crowded.
Here's another figure for you: during this wave, the entire network's 24-hour trading volume reached 8 times the market cap, and perpetual open interest is close to 13 times the market cap. This is no longer a spot trader's arena. The $XRP vulnerability narrowly escaped disaster, but the catastrophe on October 11 was not averted. If the XRP Ledger vulnerability had not been discovered, the consequences would have been catastrophic, severe enough to shake the very foundation of trust in the entire network. Once exploited by hackers, the damage would far exceed a simple price crash. The first layer is a direct financial collapse. An attacker could create 18.45 trillion XRP out of thin air with a single transaction, which is 184.5 times the initial XRP cap of 100 billion. Once these counterfeit coins flood the market, XRP's scarcity would vanish, and its price would instantly drop to zero. The attacker could transfer the forged XRP to exchanges for sale, triggering a market panic sell-off. At that time, XRP's market cap was about $94 billion, and such a shock would be enough to destroy the entire ecosystem's value foundation. The second layer is a technical trust crisis. The core trust cornerstone of XRP is its fixed supply of 100 billion coins. This vulnerability directly undermined this fundamental principle, shaking investors' confidence in the network's long-term value storage capability. To urgently fix it, the development team had to bypass the standard validator voting process, a first in XRPL's more than ten-year history. Although this was an unconventional measure taken for security, it also exposed the dilemma that, under extreme circumstances, the network's decentralized governance might be forced into centralized decision-making. The hacker's perspective is also worth examining. This vulnerability is not easily triggered; it requires the attacker to create hundreds of accounts and carefully construct a series of abnormal transaction orders, the mostUnrealized profit 187.18%, $PUMP short position entered from 0.005823 to 0.005605, this range was fully captured. The entry logic is not a bet on a drop, but rather that when the price pushes up to the previous high resistance zone, momentum clearly weakens, and volume-price divergence appears, a typical bull trap followed by weakness.
Structurally, the price is still oscillating in a bearish range between previous lows and highs, with 0.005823 exactly stuck at the prior resistance band. The price hits resistance and then falls back, indicating that after high-level chips changed hands, bears regained control. The lack of a deep pullback during the holding period is the best confirmation. However, with unrealized profits so large, I won’t hold blindly; I will gradually reduce positions and lock in profits near the previous low support.
Key resistance is at the 0.005823 entry zone overlapping with the previous high, and support is near the previous low. As long as the rebound does not firmly break above 0.00585, the bearish logic remains unchanged. If there is a volume breakout and the price holds above the previous high, the short position is invalidated and I will exit immediately, avoiding a fake breakout. Currently, priority is to lock in profits and keep a base position waiting for a pullback before the structure reverses. $BTC $ETH #CPI与PPI公布在即,加息预期迎考验 🏦 OKX BUSINESS UPDATE
OKX announced strategic investments from Circle, Ripple, Qube Research & Technologies, and SC Ventures, at a reported $25 billion pre-money valuation. 💰
The exchange said the investment would support its growth and real-world asset tokenization plans.
My question: Could tokenized real-world assets become a major part of crypto’s future? 🌍
#OKX #Crypto #Tokenization #Web3Ledger theft case asset recovery: Tether freezes expanded to about $10 million, thieves swap to USDD to evade: Tether has blacklisted over 20 involved addresses and frozen about 10 million USDT (initially only about 1.4 million); on-chain tracking shows thieves on 10/9 swapped about 14.7 million USDT to USDD via SUN.io to evade freezing rights and used a mixer, suspected attacker wallet still holds about 14,810 ETH. PeckShield previously tracked about $3.89 million flowing into Binance deposit addresses, but due to mixing with other clients' funds in intermediary wallets and uncertain ownership, the conclusion was withdrawn. Total loss estimated at about $92.9-93.2 million across 311-315 wallets, freezing does not equal recovered stolen funds.$BTC Damn it! This order book keeps placing and canceling orders, placing and canceling again. Is the manipulator playing mind games here? The 83668.6 level has been sideways for a long time, volume shrunk to nothing, clearly shaking out retail investors to make them doubt themselves.
The candlesticks are narrowing more and more, a reversal is right in front of us. Purely from the capital perspective, the bearish momentum is already exhausted, and the support below is very strong.
I plan to lightly buy one position near 83668.6, set stop loss at 82800, and accept the loss if it breaks. Don't go heavy, don't hold positions stubbornly, manipulators love to fake spikes.
If you want to follow, check the real-time levels on the market card below, don't chase highs, wait for a pullback confirmation before acting. If this rally really takes off, don't regret missing the entry again.
👇👇👇$ONDO short-term breakout above previous high
ONDO rose 1.38% in the last 15 minutes, while BTC only increased 0.05% in the same period, with the native token relatively leading by 1.34 percentage points. This relative strength makes me feel it is not just following the overall market trend; short-term capital attention is higher.
The previous high in the past few hours was 0.5186, and the just closed 5-minute candlestick closed at 0.5203 USDT, with the price standing above the upper boundary of the range. I tend to treat this breakout as a short-term strong signal rather than waiting for a pullback at the upper boundary of the consolidation range.
The recent 1-hour increase of +2.22% indicates that the upward move is not just a sudden spike. My preference is to view short-term opportunities more in line with this direction rather than rushing to look for a reversal right at the breakout point. $BTC After surviving this round of shakeout, I just want to say: hold tight, don’t get left behind
A couple of days ago, BTC dropped to a low of 80.4k, a pullback of 8%, and over 550 million longs were liquidated across the network.
But I’m not worried. The reason is simple
1/ This is not a systemic crash like last October. This is a textbook leverage cleanup, high-leverage gamblers got taken out, and the market structure actually got cleaner.
2/ On-chain data speaks: low-position chips around 63k only decreased by 2.6%. The old players didn’t move at all, quietly accumulating.
3/ ETF divergence is interesting: Fidelity is exiting, BlackRock is buying 330 million against the trend. Smart money is taking the opportunity to pick up chips.
4/ The macro headwind is real — 64% chance of a rate hike in December, CPI on the 14th is key. If it exceeds expectations, it might test 74-75k again.
5/ But my bottom line is very clear: if 81k doesn’t break, this game isn’t lost. The chip wall of 1.55 million BTC above isn’t paper-thin.
Operationally: don’t move spot, don’t add leverage. If 74k really gives a chance, add another position. After holding above 85.5k, chase on the right side.
What’s falling is leverage, not faith.
Those who hold tight eat meat, those who chase highs and sell lows pay the price.
I choose the former Institutions keep shouting about building positions every day, and ETFs are also buying, yet $BTC just stays stuck around 83,000 without rising.
Funds have entered the market, but the price doesn't go up. Why is that?
Let's break it down simply why institutional buying can't move the market:
First, the buying power is too weak: the slow inflow from institutions simply can't withstand the market's frantic selling pressure.
Second, lack of confidence: with macro data looming overhead, funds would rather accept the risk-free interest from U.S. Treasuries than recklessly enter and become cannon fodder.
Third, the tug-of-war between bulls and bears: the short-term market is all about profit-taking, leverage liquidations, and liquidity battles, which institutions can't control.
Next, we need to closely watch whether ETFs can sustain net inflows, whether trading volume can expand, and whether BTC can firmly reclaim key support. If there is only fund inflow news without price cooperation, we cannot easily conclude a reversal.

#跟着OKX打卡2049 Planning to return to the track I am good at, no longer rushing for quick gains.
I have been well taught by these two altcoins $MAGIC and $STRK, which I am not familiar with.
Originally, I am a believer in holding, but I went out to do short-term speculation, which is not what I am good at.
People should do what they are good at; gambling beyond one's circle of competence can easily lead to failure.
Blindly chasing unfamiliar coins with short-term surges, always wanting to make a quick profit, easily disrupts the mindset.
Now I realize: slow is fast, holding onto familiar targets is the real hope.
No longer blindly participating in emotional games of unfamiliar coins, not forcing trades in markets I don't understand.
Trading is not about who acts more, but about staying within your circle of competence and patiently waiting for your own opportunities.
Settle your mindset, steady your pace, no longer eager for quick success.
Next, I will buy the dips in familiar value targets, such as $OKB and $BTC.
I also hope everyone can find their own track of expertise and earn their own returns in the crypto world together.

#跟着OKX打卡2049 $ETH ETH: Can it hold at 2500 dollars? What are the whales doing?
ETH is at 2513 dollars today, up 0.78% in 24h, but still down 6.8% over 7 days. This is ETH's dilemma: it rises with the market when stable, but falls softer than SOL/XRP when risk retreats. The reason is simple, ETH has too many "stories"—L2, restaking, RWA, institutional custody, options market, which confuses capital on where to speculate.
On-chain data is interesting: whales are accumulating between 2400–2500, the 4000-dollar bullish structure in the options market remains, but spot buying is not strong enough. 24h volume is 5.78B, less than half of BTC's, indicating capital prioritizes BTC, with the remainder allocated to ETH.
In the news, Fidelity has opened custody and trading for SOL, and JPMorgan uses ETH as collateral, which is positive long-term, but short-term "institutions can use" does not equal "institutions are buying." If US stocks weaken in the night session and US bond yields rise again today, ETH will first test 2450 or even 2400.
Retail investors trading ETH should not imitate BTC: BTC looks at macro factors, ETH looks at two things—ETH/BTC exchange rate and L2 fees/restaking TVL. If these two don't rise, 2500 is a consolidation, not a bottom. #CPI与PPI公布在即,加息预期迎考验 #机构持续布局,BTC为何仍承压? $ETH $BTC BTC: Don't mythologize "digital gold," it also depends on liquidity
The community loves to say "BTC is digital gold." True, but not entirely. Gold is at $4220 today, near its historical high, while BTC is still hovering around 83,000. What's the difference? Gold doesn't have its own leveraged ecosystem; BTC has perpetual contracts, ETFs, treasury stocks, and collateralized lending.
So BTC's volatility is amplified by financialization. Today's total trading volume is 42.69B, with USDT accounting for 36B, indicating that most of the "volume" in the market is stablecoin turnover, not new money entering. New money looks at ETF inflows, institutional custody, and listed companies' balance sheets; old money still watches Twitter pump signals.
The conclusion on trading behavior is straightforward:
High volume up + rising funding rate = trend continuation
Low volume up + crazy funding rate = bull trap
High volume down + long-term holders unmoved = shakeout
Low volume down + exchange balances rising = real withdrawal
Today belongs to "low volume sideways + long-term chips unmoved," don't be afraid, but don't get carried away either. BTC's bull market isn't about daily gains, but about each macro bearish event producing higher lows. #CPI与PPI公布在即,加息预期迎考验 #机构持续布局,BTC为何仍承压? $BTC BTC: The contract market is shaking out traders today, not crashing.
In the early morning, BTC barely moved, but altcoins trembled, causing a wave of long positions to liquidate across the network. Why? Because when BTC is sideways, gamblers leverage SOL, SUI, DOGE, and when BTC fakes a breakout, altcoins get liquidated first.
BTC's funding rate is close to neutral, indicating leverage isn't overheated. Most of the 24h liquidations are longs, meaning retail traders who chased the rebound last Friday got taught a lesson again. On days like this, spot holders are actually the most comfortable: if you didn't open 10x leverage, a 2% BTC drop hurts your account but you’re still in the game.
No black swan news; CPI is due on 10/14, FOMC on 10/27–28. The market is deliberately suppressing volatility. Institutions are using BTC as collateral, treasury companies keep accumulating coins—these are slow variables; short-term candlesticks are just emotional noise.
My rule for today: If BTC doesn't break 82,000, don't cut spot positions; if it surges to 83,500 without volume, don't chase; if it truly breaks above 84,000 with volume, then move some reserve funds into ETH/SOL. Don't do the opposite—chasing breakouts in sideways markets or cutting losses in crashes wastes three years of effort. #CPI与PPI公布在即,加息预期迎考验 #机构持续布局,BTC为何仍承压? $BTC $BTC BTC: 83K What are the whales and retail investors thinking at this level?
Today BTC hit $83,079, up 0.56% in 24h. It looks weak, but actually the "weakness" itself is a signal. The total market cap is 2.8 trillion, with BTC alone taking 59.5%, indicating that funds are not speculating wildly on altcoins but are holding in Bitcoin waiting for macro developments.
In terms of trading behavior, with the US stock market closed for the night session (Columbus Day bond market closed), liquidity is thin, and even a single large order can cause a spike. So today's small bullish candle does not indicate a trend but rather that "no one wants to reveal their hand first." On-chain, long-term holders are not letting go, exchange balances have not surged, and selling pressure mainly comes from short-term profit-taking and contract take-profits.
On the news front, JPMorgan allowing institutions to use BTC/ETH as collateral, and Rumble planning to give 51 million monthly active users BTC/USDT tipping, are all positive signs of "adoption," but short-term prices are more influenced by CPI and the US dollar index. The 10-year US Treasury yield is around 5.24%, and the DXY is just above 102, which is not a favorable environment for risk assets.
Retail investors should avoid three things today: chasing a spike, opening high leverage, and interpreting "sideways trading" as "about to surge." BTC currently has support at 82K and resistance at 83.5–84K; follow the breakout with volume, and treat false breakouts as a show. #CPI与PPI公布在即,加息预期迎考验 #机构持续布局,BTC为何仍承压? $BTC $PONS resistance levels are not meant to be broken through

On October 11, 2025, the crypto world experienced a night of terror: $19 billion liquidated in a single day, 1.64 million people liquidated, surpassing the scale of 312 and 519, marking the most brutal deleveraging day in crypto history. That day is remembered as "10.11."
Today, history did not repeat itself. BTC and ETH are calm, but calm does not mean a trend reversal.
BTC is in a corrective rebound after a decline. The daily chart shows a bearish trend emerging, with the four-hour chart showing a downward movement without a central pivot. The 80,000 level remains unbroken, the movement is orderly, as if waiting for direction.
ETH is weaker. The four-hour chart has fallen back to the consolidation range before the last rally. Until 2630 is strongly reclaimed, bears remain dominant. Short positions can be tried in batches between 2520-2550, with stop loss above 2598 to prevent false breakouts; take profit targets are 2450, 2420, and 2380, to be taken in batches.
Overall, the market is still oscillating; real volatility may be reserved for Monday. History not repeating does not mean risk has disappeared. Remembering 10.11 is not about fear, but about remembering the cost of leverage.

Last week, the crypto market was dominated by geopolitical risks in the Middle East. Bitcoin fell 2.46% over the week, while Ethereum dropped 6.61%. On October 6 and October 8, two rounds of large-scale liquidations occurred, with over $1.8 billion liquidated in total, mainly impacting long positions. Below is a complete news summary organized by date.
October 5
· FinCEN withdrew proposed rules targeting non-custodial wallets and crypto mixers. The U.S. Treasury is clearing these two long-pending regulatory proposals from the books. The original rules required financial institutions to collect and retain customer information related to non-custodial wallets.
· Bitmine purchased approximately $41 million more, acquiring 15,112 ETH, bringing total holdings to 6,016,414 ETH, accounting for 4.9% of Ethereum's total supply, reaching 99% of its "5% alchemy" goal.
· Zcash activated the NU7 network upgrade on its testnet, expected to increase block production speed to three times the original.
· SOL fell below 120 USDT, down 1.34% in 24 hours.
· ADA rose 11.1% within 24 hours, reaching a price of $0.2724 with a trading volume of $1.11 billion, though no clear driving factor was identified.
· The x402 protocol's daily transfer volume rose to about $223,000, a new high since April, with Algorand accounting for about 72% of the share.
October 6
· CFTC officially classified SOL and XRP as...$BTC Damn! That 83728.8 spike was really brutal, just smashed down then pulled right back up, classic dog trader shakeout move 😂
Looking at the chart, there's support orders around 83000 below, the short volume has clearly shrunk, pure capital game with no fundamental backing. The retail traders have long been shaken out, barely any active players left on board 🚀
I placed an order at 83728.8, stop loss at 82500, if it breaks that I admit defeat. Targeting 86000 first, then will reduce position at halving.
Don't fomo chase at this level, if you want to lay a trap, now's the time. What do you guys think? 👇👇👇The market surged across the board in the early morning, and we once again controlled the rhythm! BTC strongly rallied from around 82,800, reaching a high near 84,200; ETH simultaneously exploded, climbing from around 2,490 to near 2,560. The key resistance levels we alerted brothers to last night have all been precisely reached, perfectly validating the market move! Brothers holding short positions can continue to hold, maintain good defense, secure profits, and avoid being easily shaken out by short-term fluctuations. Those who missed out, don’t worry—the market always rewards the prepared. When the rhythm is right, profits come naturally!
This morning also reached the short-term resistance zone. Here, we focus on the 83,500-84,500 breakout situation; if it doesn’t break through, you can try shorting. Watch the 81,500-80,000 range below; if it breaks through, look toward 85,500-86,000.
ETH is also showing a high surge currently. This morning, we continue to watch the resistance zone of 2,560-2,600 to try shorting, targeting the 2,450-2,400 range. If it breaks through 2,600, short positions can exit first $BTC $ETH #CPI与PPI公布在即,加息预期迎考验 Bitcoin just had a surge, and immediately people online were shouting that the bull market is back! 😂
Actually, this looks more like a technical rebound after an oversell, not necessarily a trend reversal upward.
The Federal Reserve may not raise interest rates in the short term, giving the market a bit of breathing room. But from the meeting minutes, most officials still lean toward raising rates once more before the end of the year, and Goldman Sachs even bets on two hikes. The rebounds are quite different in distance traveled.
I won't temporarily consider $UNI strong just because it rose a few points. The price is around 7.61, down about 14.7% in a week; based on this decline, it still needs to rise about 17% to return to where it was a week ago.
So even if there is a noticeable rebound later, we need to see how much it has recovered. If it is still far from the original position, we can't rush to say this round of adjustment is over.
But a big drop is not a direct reason to be bearish. My focus is whether the rebound can continue to advance, not how long the first bullish candle is. Continuous recovery of lost ground carries more weight than a sudden pull-up.
$ENA has already risen a bit, but the strength is not enough. It rose about 1% in the last 24 hours, still down about 8% in a week, and up about 58% in a month.
Its problem is that it had a considerable rise before, but recently has been giving back gains. Whether this rebound can continue is more worth watching than how much monthly gains remain. I will treat it as a recovery for now and will not prematurely assume the second round of rise has started.
$OKB is in a slightly better situation. It only fell about 1.5% in a week, rose about 9.6% in a month, and the intraweek pullback is significantly smaller than the other two.
The decline it needs to fill is smaller, and the threshold for recovery is lower. However, only after recovering the intraweek decline will it be time to test the new upward space. The advantage of a smaller drop is recognized, but how far it can rise afterward still needs to be seen.
#OKX以250亿美元估值完成战略融资 $ETH ETH is currently trading at about $2,550 on October 12, with a 24-hour increase of 1.68%, currently in a volatile recovery phase struggling above the $2,500 mark.
📉 Funding: Institutions are retreating
The spot Ethereum ETF has seen net outflows for 9 consecutive trading days, totaling about $700 million, marking the worst weekly performance since January. Among them, BlackRock's ETHA had a weekly outflow of $477 million, accounting for nearly 90% of the total outflow.
🐋 On-chain battle: Whales are accumulating
While institutions are redeeming, whales have increased their holdings by about 166,000 ETH (worth over $400 million) within 72 hours. Meanwhile, Binance's ETH reserves have dropped to a six-month low, with withdrawal volumes hitting a single-day record high, indicating accumulation.
📊 Key levels
· Support: $2,450–$2,500 (recent buying defense zone; a break below points to $2,400)
· Resistance: $2,550–$2,600 (previous crash starting zone; holding above is needed to reverse short-term weakness)
🔍 Today's focus
The market is awaiting US inflation data, with institutional funds choosing to wait and see. Weak spot demand is the biggest concern; if $2,450 is breached, it may trigger further pullback. How is $BTC likely to perform in October?
Personally, I think the market will first undergo consolidation and recovery, then wait for macro data to confirm the trend. This is not a "unilateral rise in October"; it’s more like repeated testing between $80,000 and $87,000. The key is whether $83,000 can be firmly held again, and how the CPI on October 14 and the FOMC on October 27–28 will play out.
Upside resistance:
$83,000–$83,500: short-term bull-bear dividing line;
$85,500–$87,500: heavy selling pressure;
A true bullish turn requires reclaiming above $87,500.
Downside support:
$80,000–$81,000: first line of defense;
Around $77,000: dense on-chain holding cost area, stronger support;
Weaker support lies at $74,000–$72,000, corresponding to short-term holders’ cost and the 200-day moving average zone.
Current market probabilities are also cautious: about a 67% chance BTC will drop to $80,000 or below at some point in October, about a 40% chance it will fall to $77,500; but there is also a 49% chance of a rebound above $87,500.

I was stunned when I just saw this.
First, what exactly is this about? Simply put, the EU is considering whether developers writing non-custodial wallets need to obtain a certification first.
Then, what does ESMA itself say? It actually states that open source, self-custody, and permissionless should not automatically be considered intermediaries.
So the problem arises: on one hand, they want to regulate; on the other hand, they say don’t jump to conclusions. Isn’t that just them not having figured it out themselves?
I’m familiar with this kind of trap. Back in the day, many projects were scared off before rules were finalized.
Fortunately, this is just a consultation now, the rules haven’t changed, and the report will be delayed until June 2027.
So in the short term, there’s no direct impact on the market; don’t scare yourself.
What we really need to watch is whether this “ask first, decide later” pace will drive developers elsewhere.
You tell me, in the end, will it control the risk or just drive people away?
#AI与量子威胁下,区块链安全如何升级? $ETH "I Paid an 'Emotion Tax' on MAGIC"
Usually, I don't touch the gaming sector, but MAGIC dragged me into the market with a 24-hour +87% surge. Starting at 0.06, it doubled in a few days; the candlestick chart showed no trend buildup, only a strong pull from capital.
The contract is even more striking: short positions account for 71.11%, almost everyone waiting for it to crash. I also joined the short side—it's rising too fast, with heavy profit-taking pressure, so a pullback was expected. But I got trapped as soon as I opened a short.
The only consolation is my light position; I can only average down on dips and wait slowly to break even. This kind of counter-trend top picking feels like looking for coins on a knife's edge. Volatile coins with sharp surges become fuel for shorts when the main force pulls. Now, I’m not greedy, just hoping to make some money for a milk tea after the shakeout and then exit.
What’s next for MAGIC? I don’t pretend to know. If capital doesn’t retreat and shorts remain crowded, the short squeeze might not be over; if volume dries up, a correction could come. In the short term, I follow the market, not my obsession.

Today's range: low 82695, high 83181, current price around 82920. After a big drop, volume didn't pick up, the trend seems to be grinding repeatedly in a narrow box, no sign of a counterattack yet.
Short-term first resistance: 83600-84000. Selling pressure is heavy here; only a volume-backed recovery above 84000 can be considered a short-term strength shift.
Short-term first support: 82200. If broken effectively, the 81500 area may be tested again.
Market judgment: sentiment is still digesting, both bulls and bears are holding back, currently just a stop in the decline, not a reversal. The longer the sideways consolidation, the more intense the subsequent directional choice will be, so don't rush to take sides.

Short-term first support: 2450. If lost, the previous low near 2380 may be revisited.

Above the 2600 level, there is dense trapped volume, so the rebound is more of a consolidation. Be sure to lock in profits to avoid pullbacks. $BTC $ZEC #机构持续布局,BTC为何仍承压? Capital flow, key support, signal confirmation—understand the market by combining these three
Analyzing capital flow, key support, and signal confirmation together clarifies the market logic.
First, look at the capital: On October 9, BTC spot ETF net inflow was 21.13 million, with BlackRock IBIT contributing the main funds. ETH ETF has seen outflows for 9 consecutive days totaling 697 million, but the outflow scale continues to narrow. Whales have increased holdings by 15,000 BTC and 166,000 ETH in the past 72 hours. Capital divergence is obvious, but slowing outflows do not equal a trend reversal.
Next, look at the price levels: ETH current price is 2532, with 2595 as strong resistance at MA200; 2500 is core support, and 2400 is the structural watershed. BTC surged to 84177 but was resisted and fell back; short-term resistance is 83976, support at 82930; the 83000–80500 range is the ETF chip cost zone. Once effectively broken, selling pressure will escalate into collective stop-loss.
Finally, look at the signals: Only when capital continues to flow out combined with support breakdown will risk truly amplify. ETH short positions far exceed longs, but derivatives leverage has dropped to a seven-month low, with high-leverage longs basically cleared out.
Conclusion: Do not rush to judge whether it is distribution or consolidation. Wait for ETF funds to turn positive for 2-3 consecutive days and for support to be retested with volume before taking action. At this stage, keep light positions and strict stop-loss. The pattern of BTC outperforming ETH is unlikely to change in the short term. Follow capital flow and avoid blindly speculating on a one-sided ETH rebound.

On-chain investigators estimate losses have already exceeded $86 million. Let's straighten out the timeline first. At 5:54 AM (UTC) on October 9, a transaction moved 80 bitcoins all at once. The device owner bought the device from an official authorized dealer, wrote down the mnemonic phrase by hand and locked it in a safe—textbook operation, no mistakes. By noon that day, a flood of similar reports appeared on X and Reddit, with the only common factor being that the devices were purchased from the Southeast Asian dealer CryptoBilis. At 1:30 PM (UTC) that afternoon, Ledger confirmed it was investigating and requested the dealer to suspend all device sales. Today, Ledger confirmed on X that unauthorized hardware implantation was indeed found in one victim's device. How big are the losses? Currently, only on-chain estimates exist. Investigator Specter first published ten collection addresses covering Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tron, estimating over $86 million; Bitquery covered 311 wallets, estimating about $92.9 million; SlowMist's MistTrack said the figure is approaching $90 million. The numbers vary, but the direction is consistent: heading toward $100 million. More striking than the total amount is the victim profile. What you see is not dawn, but a bit of light leaking through the clouds. It’s real, but not bright enough.
$BTC still carries an old burden overhead—around 85000, where trapped positions and dense trading zones overlap. The closer the price gets, the more people want to exit. So don’t rush to call a reversal. Only by breaking through with volume and holding above 85000 can the door be considered opened; otherwise, this is just a deep correction, and a retest is bound to come.
$ETH climbed from 2350 to 2470, like sitting up after a fever, but not yet out of bed. None of the previously broken key levels have been reclaimed. 2520 is the point where it can lift its head; if 2430 breaks again, 2350 will be retested.
$SOL fluctuated from 102 to 108, seemingly rising, but the cap above hasn’t been lifted. Chasing it at this stage, even if the direction is right, could lead to being shaken out.
So for now:
BTC—wait to hold above 85000 before talking about offense.
ETH—just watch 2520 and 2430, don’t overthink.
SOL—put it aside for now; not every ride is worth taking.
In the mid to long term, I’m still bullish; this cycle may not be over yet. But being bullish is one thing, chasing every green candle is another kind of problem.
When confused, don’t rush to find direction. First, find your own rules again. Direction comes from waiting, not rushing.$STRK This 50x short STRIK position secured a 114.50% floating profit, with the bearish downtrend fully captured.
Looking back, entry was at 0.12008. After high-level selling pressure was released, the bearish trend flowed smoothly, dropping to the current marked price of 0.11733. The zero-level space under 50x leverage directly yielded a 1.14x return.
Currently, 0.11733 approaches the previous low and the support zone near 0.117. Passive buying at the low level is holding, with volume shrinking and momentum weakening. With 50x high leverage combined with over 110% floating profit, the profit buffer is thick, but minor rebounds or spikes at the low level can easily cause significant drawdowns, making the tail-end risk-reward very poor.
Following the trend is easiest. It is recommended to close over 90% of the position to lock in profits at the current price, leaving the remaining base position with a stop loss fixed at the cost line (or significantly raised to the breakeven line), closely watching the 0.117 level. If it breaks with volume, a very small base position can be held to float; if volume shrinks and price stagnates or spikes, exit fully. Protecting real capital is the key; high leverage should only capture the body of the move, not the tail.
Combined with previous consecutive high-leverage long and short operations (including ETH 100x, NEAR long, WLD/TIA/ZEC short, etc.), with multiple coins, directions, high frequency, and high leverage stacking, overall account volatility and liquidation risk have become extremely concentrated. 📝 Liquidation insight: small capital and heavy positions stem from greed and aggressiveness
Even when the overall market direction analysis is correct, forced liquidation still occurs.
Small capital often fantasizes about high returns from a single trade, disregarding small profits, thus entering the market with full leverage and heavy positions.
But it ignores the harsh reality of altcoin spikes: even if the final trend goes as expected, a mid-way reverse fluctuation with high positions leads to direct elimination, and the subsequent market moves no longer concern you.
The biggest enemy in trading is not the market, but the impatience to get rich quickly.
Small capital must never gamble with heavy positions; the premise of compounding is always to survive in the market first.

The logic is simple: on-chain data reveals the main force's intention. Unrealized profit rate has risen to 33%, creating heavy selling pressure from profit-taking. Snatching a wave of short-term long liquidity, but clearly there are sell orders from old whales above. 100x leverage, stop loss at 83000.
Fundamental support: LTH's MVRV remains in a healthy range of 1.6, no panic yet, but distribution has just started.

This market grinds people down without mercy. Prices are stuck in a narrow gap, neither rising nor falling, candlesticks shrinking into a line, making eyes sore from staring too long. But the quieter it is, the more cautious you must be—the calmer the surface, the darker beneath.
1. Technicals: Bollinger Bands Tighten, Direction Must Be Chosen Sooner or Later
On the 4-hour and daily charts, both BTC and ETH are squeezed into narrow boxes, Bollinger Bands tightening more and more, volume drained dry, bulls and bears tugging around the moving average, neither letting go. BTC's MACD flattens, ETH's RSI stagnates at low levels, there is demand for a rebound, but every bounce is weak, buyers can't hold it, more like fishing. Volume-price divergence remains unresolved, downside risk persists.
2. Capital: Leverage Withdraws, Retail Investors Stay
Contract open interest continues to decline, funding rates return to neutral, some exchanges have turned negative, Binance BTC funding rate drops to about -0.002%, a nine-month low. No fresh bullets on the field, upward breakout is water without a source. More troublesome is the long-short ratio: retail longs remain crowded, BTC contract long-short account ratio still near 1.45, ETH long concentration also high. The more retail holds on, the less the main players lift the carriage. Cleaning out floating chips is not "if," but "when."
#CPI与PPI公布在即,加息预期迎考验 #机构持续布局,BTC为何仍承压? #跟着OKX打卡2049 Leverage Avalanche: Three Lessons from the Crypto Liquidation Night in October 2025
From October 10 to 11, 2025, the crypto market experienced a "deleveraging storm." CoinGlass data shows that over $19 billion in leveraged positions were forcibly liquidated, marking one of the most dangerous liquidation waves of the year. BTC and ETH plunged sharply in a short time, while $SOL, $XRP, and DOGE saw even more intense volatility, with some altcoins dropping double digits.
This was not caused by a single negative factor but was a spontaneous combustion after leverage stacking. Prices broke key levels, triggering automatic liquidations on exchanges; liquidation sell orders further pushed prices down, triggering more liquidations. The more crowded the trades, the easier it is to have a stampede at the same exit.
For traders, there are three points worth remembering:
First, liquidation volume is a thermometer, not a reversal signal. Massive liquidations represent risk release but do not mean the bottom has been reached.
Second, open interest, funding rates, and volume are more honest than rebounds. If leverage remains high and funding rates quickly turn positive, the rebound may just be a bull trap.
Third, after key support is lost, cash and patience are also positions.
My view: leverage does not create trends; it only amplifies volatility. The most dangerous thing in a bull market is not being wrong on direction but betting too heavily on the right direction. Waiting for volatility to converge and buying demand to return before discussing opportunities may be more stable than chasing the first rebound. #CPI与PPI公布在即,加息预期迎考验 #机构持续布局,BTC为何仍承压?
