A 5% risk-free interest rate is repricing Bitcoin
— Reviewing this rebound, let's talk about something most people overlook
In the past three months, BTC rose from $63,800 to $82,100, ETH from $1,860 to $2,445, both increasing around 30%. People in my circle have started saying "a new cycle has begun."
But when I checked the data, my attention was drawn to another number: the 10-year US Treasury yield at 5.17%.
The era of cheap money is truly over
The bull market in 2020–2021 had a hidden premise: the US dollar deposit interest rate was near zero, so money had nowhere to go but to chase risk. Back then, the "opportunity cost" of buying BTC was almost zero.
What about now? US Treasuries offer you 5%+, almost risk-free. This means every BTC holder is giving up a 5% guaranteed return daily for an asset that "might go up or down." This pressure is real and is reflected in every candlestick — the recent slight pullback in BTC and ETH largely mirrors the ETF capital outflow: daily inflows dropped from nearly $1 billion to $130 million, with smart money waiting to see the Federal Reserve meeting at the end of the month.
So why did it still rise 30%?
This is the most interesting part of this rally: a corrective rebound during a rate-hiking cycle.
At the beginning of August, BTC dropped to $62,200, ETH to $1,803, a typical panic sell-off. The subsequent rebound was more of a technical correction from "overselling" rather than new incremental funds.Repetition and Divergence in History: The “50-Day Moving Average Rule” Before the BTC, ETH, and SOL Bull Market Launch
Reviewing the historical price movements of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL) through four cycles of bear-to-bull transitions, we discovered a remarkable pattern: before the true main bull run begins, the market always exhibits a specific technical formation.
The core of this formation lies in "holding and retesting." Specifically, after the price stabilizes at the bottom and effectively holds above the 50-day moving average, the market experiences about 40 to 50 days of oscillating upward movement, followed by a deep retest of the 50-day moving average for confirmation. The gain during this "warming-up" phase from holding the moving average to initiating the retest is mostly maintained around 30%, and this cyclical pattern shows a high degree of similarity across different cryptocurrencies and years.
However, the subsequent evolution after the retest confirmation varies significantly between cycles, which is the key to distinguishing a "rebound" from a "reversal." Looking back at the 2015 and 2019 cycles, after the market confirmed support at the 50-day moving average retest, bullish confidence was established, and the market continued to rise by at least 50%, launching a magnificent bull market.
#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? What are institutions doing when others panic?
The market is all red, retail investors are liquidating, but institutions haven't stopped. Putting these four things together is quite interesting.
Standard Chartered has become the first international bank in the UAE to offer native spot trading of $BTC and $ETH. High-net-worth clients can buy and sell directly using their bank accounts, with trading, custody, and settlement all closed-loop within the banking system. This is not just listing a coin; traditional finance has pushed the door open a bit further.
Strive is even more aggressive, increasing its holdings by 33,11 BTC worth $280 million at an average price of about 84,500, with a total holding of 32,773 BTC. Three months ago, it was less than 20,000 BTC. Moreover, it issued $500 million in preferred shares with a 15% dividend to continue raising funds to buy coins. Simply put, institutions are also leveraging, just more decently than retail investors.
Seller continues to shout: the crash is over, we are at the start of a bull market. You may not believe him, but his position is real.
Also, the one-year anniversary. On October 11 last year, $19 billion was liquidated, and 1.6 million people were liquidated. Some insurance lost 728 million, but the controversy is not over: the exchange simultaneously controls the order book, index, and liquidation data, and also controls the compensation explanation rights. How can users independently verify losses? The referee and the player are the same person; how can this game be played?
Retail investors are cutting losses, institutions are buying up, banks are entering. The market has never been a solo voice. But what really needs to be watched is not the candlestick chart, but the rules. Whoever sets the rules controls the next round's knife.#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息?
Last night's exam results are out: CPI failed one subject, PPI failed another.😬
Both exceeded expectations, so the problem escalates. Previously, everyone was guessing "how many rate cuts within the year," now it jumps directly to "will there be another rate hike within the year." Don't underestimate this leap; once the market pricing anchor shifts from "how much to cut" to "whether to hike," the entire asset pricing system needs recalculating.
Let's pour some cold water first: the threshold for another rate hike this year is actually very high. Inflation needs to rebound for several consecutive months, inflation expectations must become unanchored, and employment has to be scorching hot—missing one of these, the Fed won't easily flip the table. A more realistic scenario is: rate cuts delayed, balance sheet reduction slowed, "high interest rates maintained longer." Sounds mild, but the damage to assets is significant.
Why? Because many asset valuations over the past year were inflated on the premise of "rate cuts imminent." The balloon won't pop, but if the pump is taken away, it will slowly deflate. U.S. Treasury yields topping out, the dollar strengthening, tech stocks and crypto's high valuations all get hit. That's how the Korean stock market dropped 8% last night.
So don't bet on the "rate hike" wildcard; what you really need to guard against is the "continued contraction of rate cut expectations." The former has a low probability but scary headlines; the latter has a high probability and is a slow, painful cut.
Inflation is like body weight—a two-pound gain after a hotpot meal is water weight; three consecutive months of soaring is real fat. Now, two months of data aren't enough to convict, but the weight loss plan (rate cuts) will most likely be delayed.⚖️Inflation is not over, and the interest rate hike boot has not landed yet.
September PPI year-on-year 6.3%, month-on-month 1.3%, the largest monthly increase since March 2022; gasoline up 20.3%, diesel up 21%, core PPI jumped from 4.7% to 5.0% — this is a systemic price increase, not a single category. CME shows a 71.8% probability of holding rates steady in October, but a combined 92.8% probability of a rate hike in December. Don't imagine that all bad news is out; liquidity is still firmly suppressed.
Market: BTC current price 82,000 seems stable, but Glassnode shows that after the 80,000 buy orders were absorbed, new buy orders did not keep up, support is thinning, new orders concentrate at 78,000 — this is passive defense, if broken it will be a vacuum. ETH 2,439, 24h liquidations of 280 million mainly hitting longs, rebound weaker than BTC. ZEC 1,223, rebound relies on short covering, 1,250-1,260 trapped positions pressing down.
Before macro clarity, big rises and falls may both be shakeouts.

#台积电Q3净利润超预期,盈利创历史新高 October 15 is the $STRK unlock day, others panic while I buy the dip. Opened a 50x long position at 0.07895, currently floating profit +358.45%, mark price 0.08461.
Background of this trade: STRK faces the unlocking of 127 million tokens, the market pulled back in advance. But on the unlock day, Starknet just started the L1 independent transformation vote, and the privacy narrative is also fermenting. Negative news landed + strong positive stimulus, the market directly reversed in a V-shape. I decisively entered after confirming bottom support at 0.07895.
Core logic: Unlock selling pressure was digested in advance, new narrative ignites the bullish powder keg.
Looking ahead to around 0.097. If it breaks through, look at 0.10, recommend taking profits in batches to secure gains. $BTC $ETH #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? $ETH Today's Market: ETH experienced a rapid short-term plunge, dropping nearly a hundred dollars in 9 minutes. This rebound is essentially a bull trap.
The price fell steadily from $2700, with no incremental buying during the rebound phase. After the CPI data release, interest rate expectations rose again, and the price consecutively broke key support levels. The market's highs continue to decline, indicating insufficient bullish support. After breaking the support, leveraged long positions were liquidated en masse, further amplifying the decline.
$BTC is also weak in sync with the broader market. In an unstable market environment, ETH is unlikely to have an independent rally. The key focus going forward is whether it can retake $2400. In a weak market, avoid blindly bottom-fishing; a rebound does not equal a reversal. Patiently wait for confirmation of market structure.
#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? Long at 1086.73, 50x leverage, floating profit 648% — many people dare not enter at this position, but I do, because I understood the nature of the big bearish candle on the 15th. That day $ZEC dropped from 1260 to 1079, a decline of over 13% intraday, with nearly $20 million liquidated across the network, longs accounting for nearly 90%, the 1115 support was directly broken, and intraday it even once approached the psychological 1000-dollar mark.
But after the panic, the price rebounded back above 1227, indicating this was a leverage-induced crash, not a fundamental collapse. I entered at 1086.73, profiting from this rebound.
The logic lies on the institutional side: ZCSH's net assets are approaching 1 billion USD, Grayscale is still applying for an income product that can issue biweekly cash flow; Winklevoss's WINK fee rate is only 0.25%, just one-tenth of ZCSH's. For the first time, privacy coins have a complete traditional financial entry point.
Next, 1264 is key. US Stock Market Analysis: AI Financing Gap Widens, Funds Overnight Withdraw to Defensive Sectors
On Thursday, the three major US stock indices all closed higher. The Nasdaq initially fell 1.4%, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index plunged over 4%, only barely recovering by the close.
Macroeconomic News: US September PPI rose 1.3% month-on-month and 6.3% year-on-year, both marking the largest increase since 2022. However, unusually, the 10-year US Treasury yield dropped more than 12 basis points—funds flowed into bonds for safety rather than pricing in a rate hike.
Asset Impact:
Stocks: The AI financing chain gap continues to widen. CoreWeave's 5-year CDS once exceeded 1140 basis points, with the market pricing a default probability over 60% within five years. After Jensen Huang publicly endorsed it, the stock reversed from a drop of over 8% to close up 5.94%. Funds shifted from semiconductors to healthcare and consumer sectors; Eli Lilly rose over 3% leading pharmaceuticals, Nike rose over 5%.
Bonds: AI-related bond spreads continue to widen, with CoreWeave's 2031 maturity bond yield soaring to 15.78%. Oracle's CDS rose to 288 basis points; if its rating falls below BBB, investment-grade funds will be forced to liquidate.
Crypto and Precious Metals: Circle rose over 9%, Coinbase over 6%; gold rebounded to $4155, driven by safe-haven sentiment.
CoreWeave's stock rebound and credit spread widening occurred on the same day—the gap between the AI narrative and financial reality is being priced by the bond marketSummary of Wash's speech on the crypto market today
1. Key points: Wash abandons forward guidance on interest rates, does not predict the path of rate hikes, adopts a dovish stance, and states that policy will be flexibly adjusted based on economic data, increasing market uncertainty.
2. Short term: The US dollar and US Treasury yields are under pressure, the crypto market is buoyed by sentiment with short-term volatility leaning stronger, but without a clear timetable for easing, the rebound's sustainability is weak, prone to sharp rises and falls, and contract volatility intensifies.
3. Medium term: The market is driven by data such as CPI and non-farm payrolls, with short-term funds mainly engaging in speculative trading, making it difficult to form a trending market.
4. Conclusion: This speech is only a marginal positive, driving only a short-term sentiment rebound, unable to change the medium- to long-term direction, with inflation data being the core variable going forward.#特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点 On October 16 Beijing time, Tesla unveiled the second-generation Roadster at SpaceX's rocket test site in Texas. When the vehicle leapt off the top of the ramp, flipped in the air, and landed smoothly, Elon Musk’s “It worked” marked the fulfillment of a promise nearly nine years late. But the bigger question is: after this "flight show," can Tesla’s stock price and business logic take off together?
1. Technical Breakdown: The Physical Nature of the "Flight"
The Roadster’s "flight" is not anti-gravity in a sci-fi sense but a sophisticated engineering combination. The multi-mode negative pressure suction system under the car uses high-power fans to generate downforce, firmly attaching the vehicle to the inverted ramp; 10 cold gas thrusters paired with a 600-liter compressed air tank handle attitude control and aerial flips after leaving the ramp. Tesla’s VP of Engineering Lars Moravy described it as the synergy of two systems: "increased grip" and "aerial maneuvers."
Performance-wise, the Rocket version accelerates 0-96 km/h in under 0.59 seconds, the Thrust version claims under 1 second, and the base version does 0-96 km/h in about 1.9 seconds, with a range of 483 km and a top speed exceeding 370 km/h. However, these figures need context: the Rocket version is not street-legal, features a single-seat layout, and is invite-only; the Thrust version is mainly for the track; only the Performance version is legally drivable on public roads.
2. Market Reaction: Stock Price "Pulse" and Real-World Constraints
During the launch event, Tesla’s stock briefly rose nearly 3% in after-hours trading but still closed down over 1% at $362.44 that day, with a weekly decline of 5%. This pattern of "pre-launch dip, post-launch pulse" aligns closely with Tesla’s historical product launch stock behavior.
The deeper reason is that the Roadster’s financial contribution to Tesla is very limited. Battle Road Research estimates that selling 7,000 units at an average price of $280,000 in the 12 months before production would generate about $2 billion in annual revenue, boosting 2027 revenue expectations by only about 2%. Compared to Tesla’s projected revenue exceeding $120 billion in 2026, this is almost negligible.
More notable are the analysts’ differing views. Deepwater’s Gene Munster labeled the demo as "engineering showmanship with no commercial value except embarrassing traditional automakers," pointing out it reveals Musk’s eagerness to merge Tesla and SpaceX. Gerber Kawasaki’s Ross Gerber directly questioned the value of the hovering feature: "Why would I need a car to hover?" He sees it as a cost driver and gimmick, predicting only a few hundred units might be made.
3. The Real Value Is Not the Roadster but the "Tesla × SpaceX" Narrative
Looking at the Roadster alone, it is indeed an engineering showcase. But Musk used the "Tesla x SpaceX" label at the launch, and Tesla’s website states, "We put the Roadster into a rocket, now we put the rocket into the Roadster." This cold gas thruster technology—jointly developed by Tesla and SpaceX engineers—is not about making a sports car flip in the air but validating deep synergy in propulsion systems, attitude control, and high-pressure gas storage between the two companies.
This points to a bigger picture: Tesla is evolving from an electric vehicle company into a platform sharing technology across multiple Musk entities. The Roadster is the first public "crossover product" but won’t be the last. When Munster said "Elon can't wait," he captured the signal that the Roadster launch might be a rehearsal for deeper Tesla-SpaceX integration in the future.
4. Risks and Challenges: Mass Production in 2028, Too Many Variables
Musk’s target for mass production is 2028. But it has been nine years since the concept prototype was first unveiled in 2017, with production plans delayed from 2020 onward. Reservation deposits are open—33.2 million yuan for the Performance version in China, $50,000 for the US Performance version, and $250,000 for the Thrust version—but Tesla’s reservation agreement clearly states: "The Roadster model is still under development, so we cannot commit to a specific delivery time for your vehicle."
Greater uncertainty comes from compliance. Musk himself admitted the car "is not necessarily optimized for safety," the Rocket version is explicitly not for public roads, and the legality of the Thrust version’s thruster system on roads worldwide remains unknown. A "flying car" that cannot legally drive on public roads has an obvious ceiling on commercial value.
5. Conclusion: A Successful Brand Marketing, an Unfinished Commercial Validation
The essence of the Roadster launch was a carefully designed brand event. It reignited the market’s imagination of Tesla as a "technology leader," validated the feasibility of Tesla-SpaceX technical collaboration, and drove concept stocks like Jiezong Technology and Junsheng Electronics to daily limit ups in the A-share market. These are real short-term gains.
But it did not answer the core question: how does the Roadster become a sustainable business? The $2 billion annual revenue estimate, limited production scale of a few hundred units, and uncertain compliance path mean it looks more like a high-cost brand flag than a profit engine.
For traders, the post-launch stock pulse is an event-driven short-term fluctuation, not a trend reversal. The real mid-term variables still come from Tesla’s FSD progress, Robotaxi commercialization pace, and broader interest rate environment and AI narrative trends. The Roadster has taken flight, but Tesla’s valuation still needs other wings. $TSLA $xTSLA $TSLA $SOL
After months of technical rumors, the official launch schedule has finally been announced today.
The Solana core development team and Anza have just clearly announced that the Alpenglow consensus upgrade will officially go live on the mainnet-beta on Wednesday, October 21. The confirmation time will be drastically reduced from about 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds; meanwhile, the official team has prominently established an office in Shanghai Pudong and lit up the Bund's big screen. SOL OKX spot price is 105.31.
The certainty of this positive development has triggered a strong rebound at the 100 integer mark, but it also sets a very clear 5-day countdown for capital. Based on past mainnet upgrade capital momentum, the 48 hours before the upgrade are often a peak period for profit-taking after the good news is fully priced in. I predict that before October 20, SOL will most likely attempt a pulse-like probe towards 112 to 115 riding on upgrade expectations; however, if it cannot hold above 108 within the next three days, or even falls below 103, then the rebound window will close early and it will retest 98.
$SOL This wave of $NEAR long positions had my palms sweating, but I was also the happiest. On October 15, the market first dropped sharply, falling from a high level all the way down to around 4.70, and many people couldn't hold on and sold their chips; as a result, on the 16th, BTC stabilized and rebounded around the 80,000 mark, and NEAR surged nearly 10% intraday, reaching $5.33.
I opened a long at 4.612 with 50x leverage, and the mark price reached 5.234, with an unrealized profit of 674%. I dared to enter at this position because the volume shrank during the shakeout, which was a chip exchange, not a capital flight.
The underlying logic is actually very solid: at the end of September, Bitwise's NRR spot ETF was launched, attracting about $58 million in its first week, opening a traditional brokerage buying channel for NEAR; plus, Intents cross-chain had a record high trading volume of 4.8 billion and fees of 7.33 million in September, showing real revenue generation.
Looking ahead, the key level is 5.5. If it holds above this, there is a chance to reach 5.8-6.0; if it falls back below 5.0, don't get ahead of yourself, wait for stabilization before making moves. $BTC $ETH #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? What is falling is not storage demand, but expectations.
The stock price of SNDK (SanDisk) has been declining steadily from its peak. Many bullish investors still cling to the fundamental logic of "stable NAND demand." Their thought process is clear and straightforward: although the storage demand dividend brought by AI has been partially realized, end-user demand still exists, and the industry's prosperity remains unchanged, so the price pullback is a good opportunity to increase holdings.
However, the market pricing has never been about "whether demand exists," but rather "whether demand exceeds expectations."
The core contradiction in the current storage industry has shifted from "whether there is demand" to "whether demand can continue to exceed expectations." AI servers' thirst for high-bandwidth storage is real, but this positive factor has long been fully priced in by the market, even overdrawn. When all participants expect growth, prices already reflect optimism. Once the actual growth rate only meets expectations rather than significantly surpassing them, the stock price loses upward momentum.
More importantly, the competitive landscape is being reshaped. Chinese storage manufacturers are accelerating their catch-up, capacity is gradually being released, and the technology gap is continuously narrowing. This means the global NAND market's supply elasticity is increasing, and the risk of price wars is rising. Even if total demand remains stable, fierce competition on the supply side will compress industry profit margins and weaken the pricing power and profit premium of leading companies.
Therefore, the decline of SNDK is not a denial of storage demand but a market reassessment of the credibility of the "high growth + high gross margin" narrative. When "strong demand" becomes a consensus, the space for excess returns is actually compressed. $BTC
After nearly $1 billion long positions were liquidated last night, the rebound back to 82000—is it a bull trap?
Following the US September PPI month-over-month surge of 1.3% last night, the entire market experienced a panic sell-off within just one hour. CoinGlass data shows that over the past 24 hours, more than $930 million in forced liquidations occurred across the market, with 88% being long positions. BTC was pushed below 80000 to a low of 79775 intraday, then quickly rebounded above 82000 within a few hours. BTC OKX spot is at 82042.3.
This sharp rally after clearing out all high-leverage longs on the exchange is essentially a short-sellers’ profit-taking and liquidity-driven rebound, not a fresh wave of spot buyers entering the market. I judge that before the panic low of 79775 last night completes a second bottom confirmation, BTC is unlikely to break through the key resistance at 83200 directly. In the next 24 hours, it is more probable to range widely between 81200 and 82800; if it falls below 81000 intraday, a new round of retesting around 80200 will be triggered. If the daily candle can close with volume firmly above 83500 and hold for more than 12 hours, this "second retest bottom" scenario will be invalidated.
$BTC $BTC retail enthusiasm is overwhelmingly bullish, but large investors are quietly exiting! The current $BTC market battle is far more complex than it appears.
OKX long-short data shows significant divergence: the retail long-short ratio has reached 1.58, indicating strong bullish sentiment; meanwhile, the large investor long-short ratio has fallen to 0.64, and their position long-short ratio is only 0.81, both indicators leaning bearish.
The market contradiction is clear: retail investors are collectively bullish, while large investors lean towards short positions, causing a severe split in sentiment.
Personal view: remain cautious in the short term, especially guarding against the risk of a pullback after a rally, but do not rely solely on long-short data to conclude that BTC will inevitably decline.
If the market continues to rise but lacks support from large investor capital, be wary of bulls chasing highs facing a market reversal; conversely, if large investor shorts start covering and price breaks out with volume, a short squeeze scenario may unfold.
At this stage, it is not recommended to chase the rally by going long; continue to observe price strength and whether the large investor position long-short ratio recovers and rises.
Remember: unanimous retail bullishness does not guarantee a rising market, and large investor bearishness does not necessarily mean a decline. The true determinant of market direction is the resonance between price movement and capital flow. ETF single-week net outflow of 681 million, what exactly is falling in this round?
Brothers, it's not the price that's falling, it's the narrative.
First layer, leveraged liquidations. 185,000 people liquidated in 24 hours, $982 million, with $ETH contracts accounting for 286 million, BTC 197 million. ETH traders got hit the hardest, with a drop twice that of $BTC.
Second layer, funds fled. From October 5–9, the US spot Bitcoin ETF saw a single-week net outflow of $681 million, the largest since June; Ethereum ETFs are also continuously bleeding. Institutions are pulling back.
Third layer, the real truth — liquidity expectations. CPI exceeded expectations, rate hike bets heated up, the dollar hit a new high since May 2025, and US Treasury yields remain elevated. Crypto is the most liquidity-sensitive asset, taking the hardest hit with no escape.
The most surreal part is the divergence in expectations: CryptoQuant analyst consensus index soared from -18.3 in July to 49.2, with 84% bullish; yet in the predictive market, the probability of BTC reaching 100,000 before Christmas has fallen below 10%. They verbally call for a bull market, but the money is watching.
What does this indicate? The market is pricing based on macro conditions, not crypto itself.
In the short term, watch ETF flows and the 82,000 support; in the medium term, watch the October 27–28 rate decision. The real direction is still decided by the Federal Reserve.Strategy provides another perspective on how institutions gain exposure to Bitcoin.

#TeslaQ3ProfitAndMargins #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 超预期#NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins $SNDK SNDK closed down sharply by 6.48% on Thursday at $1394.83, continuing to dip after hours, reaching a low near 1370, with 1343 marking an important low range in this after-hours session. Since the peak of $1909 on September 22, the current retracement has approached 30%, indicating a very intense short-term correction.
The bearish logic behind this sell-off is relatively clear. On one hand, ChangXin Memory's breakthrough in DRAM technology has sparked market concerns that global storage industry pricing power will be impacted, with capital preemptively pricing in future supply increases and the resulting margin pressure; on the other hand, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index weakened for two consecutive days, dragging down sector sentiment. SanDisk, along with Western Digital, SK Hynix, and other leading storage companies, were sold off by investors. Coupled with rising US Treasury yields and inflation data disturbances, growth chip stocks are under further pressure.
Interestingly, after the significant price correction, Wall Street institutions have started to view this level positively. Among 25 tracked analysts, 15 have issued buy ratings, with an average institutional target price of $2173, implying nearly 56% upside compared to the current price.
This creates a clear divergence: in the short term, the market is dominated by competition concerns and broad market panic, leading to continuous capital outflows and price drops; institutions focus more on the medium to long-term AI storage demand logic, considering this decline an excessive correction. $ETH $ZEC #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 #Meta巨额AI投入进入回报检验期
【Meta has spent tens of billions on AI, and this time the advertising revenue needs to deliver results】
$META reported revenue of $60.8 billion last quarter, a 28% year-over-year increase, but capital expenditures were as high as $31.1 billion. Now, for Q3, it has given a revenue guidance of $61 billion to $64 billion. With the earnings report on October 21, the market is no longer just waiting to see if advertising sales are good, but also when the money burned on AI will be recouped.
No matter how powerful the AI models are or how large the data centers, someone ultimately has to pay the bill. Meta's advertising business does generate profit, and AI can help improve ad delivery efficiency, but capital expenditures are rising too fast, and revenue growth may not necessarily translate into profit and cash flow. Recently, AI and semiconductor stocks have lost over $1 trillion in market value in a week, and the market has started to scrutinize: no matter how strong AI demand is, investments can't keep increasing indefinitely without accounting for returns.
Next, it depends on Meta's profit margin and full-year capital expenditure guidance. Q2 revenue growth of 28% is impressive, but operating margin dropped from 43% to 31%, and free cash flow is only about $784 million. If Q3 only meets revenue targets but continues to increase AI investment, the stock price may not respond favorably.
This earnings season is not about whether AI has a future, but about how long it takes for this investment to break even. The same applies to the crypto space: when interest rates are high and tech stocks are under pressure, just talking about the AI narrative is hard to sustain risk appetite. If Meta proves that advertising growth can cover the investment, AI stocks have a chance to stabilize; otherwise, don't treat every dip as a discount sale. Data remains persistently hot. September CPI year-on-year 3.7%, month-on-month 0.6%, core CPI month-on-month 0.3%, all above market expectations. PPI is even more extreme: month-on-month 1.3%, far above the expected 0.5%, year-on-year 6.3% is the highest since December 2022.
The Fed just raised rates by 25bp in September, lifting the range to 3.75%-4.00%. My judgment is no hike in October, high probability in December.
- October: Rate hike odds about 30%, San Francisco Fed's Daly sees no urgency in October, Chicago Fed's Goolsbee prefers to wait for more data. Some institutions also think a hike before the election is politically inconvenient.
- December: Market odds for a December hike exceed 85%. Some forecasters warn that if 25bp is ineffective, December could see a 50bp hike.
Conclusion: Rate hikes likely not over, just a matter of timing. For the crypto market, rising rates are a medium-term pressure, and volatility tends to amplify around data releases. Retail investors are wildly bullish, but big players are retreating! $BTC This situation isn't that simple.
OKX long-short ratio shows a clear divergence:
Retail long-short ratio rises to 1.58, indicating strong bullish sentiment; big players' number long-short ratio drops to 0.64, and big players' position long-short ratio is only 0.81, both indicators leaning bearish.
The most interesting part is here: retail investors are bullish, while big players tend to be bearish, showing a clear market sentiment conflict.
My judgment: short-term caution is advised, prioritize guarding against a pullback after a rally, but you can't conclude $BTC will definitely fall based solely on the long-short ratio.
If the price continues to rise but big players' funds don't cooperate, be careful of bulls chasing highs only to be counterattacked; if big players gradually cover shorts and volume breaks out, the market could squeeze shorts instead.
No rush to chase longs now; focus on whether the price can strengthen and if big players' position long-short ratio recovers.
Remember: retail bullishness doesn't guarantee a rise, and big players' bearishness doesn't guarantee a fall. The real direction depends on whether price and capital can resonate."Is exceeding delivery expectations useless? Tesla's real test is gross margin"
After the market closed on October 21, Tesla released its Q3 earnings report. Deliveries reached 486,532 vehicles, exceeding expectations, but do you still remember the lesson from July: revenue +26%, operating margin only 1.4%, EPS 0.33 versus expected 0.50, profits were propped up by a $1 billion paper gain from SpaceX equity, and the stock price dropped 12% the next day.
This time Wall Street expects EPS of $0.45 (down 13% year-over-year), revenue of $27.9 billion (down 1% year-over-year). Deliveries are just the ticket; gross margin is the real test: if it returns to 5-6%, the stock price could reach 400+; if it only delivers just over 1%, the AI story will have to be carried alone.
The most painful data: Morningstar gives a fair value of $450, but Robotaxi accounts for over 30%, Optimus nearly 30%, and FSD subscriptions 20%—the car itself only accounts for a small fraction of the valuation. What you are buying in Tesla is 80% an AI play. $TSLA
#特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点 【AI stocks evaporated $1 trillion in a week, crypto friends don’t rush to bottom-fish】
AI revenues are still rising, but stock prices took a hit first. This week, AI and semiconductor-related stocks lost over $1 trillion in market value, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index dropping about 12% from its early October peak.
There isn’t just one trigger: U.S. inflation rose to 3.7%, raising concerns that the Federal Reserve will continue raising interest rates; Chinese memory chip manufacturers catching up also made investors doubt how long AI chips’ high profits can last. On top of that, cloud computing companies borrowing to build data centers face higher financing costs, making the math even tougher.
The AI story isn’t over, but the market is already wondering when the money put in will be earned back.
This isn’t good news for crypto either. High interest rates suppress risk appetite, and when AI concept stocks fall, tech assets tend to get hit together. But this doesn’t directly mean the crypto market must fall; the key is whether $BTC can hold steady and whether funds continue to withdraw from risk assets.
In fact, this has already affected crypto. BTC briefly fell below $80,000, then rebounded to around $82,000; on Wednesday, the U.S. spot BTC ETF saw a net outflow of about $261 million.
For now, don’t treat this as a complete burst of the AI bubble. It’s more like high valuations meeting high interest rates, causing funds to first shrink their risk exposure. If BTC can hold its lows and ETF funds flow back, this might just be a deleveraging phase; if it continues to break down, altcoins shouldn’t expect to survive on narrative alone. The viral flying flip video of Tesla's newly released Roadster model is indeed stunning. At first glance, one might think it's an AI video, and this launch event scheduled before Tesla's Q3 earnings report on October 21 shows careful planning.
First, about this car: it matches Musk's usual pattern of delays, being released 9 years late, and it won't be available on the market until next year. Meanwhile, Tesla's existing models are aging and becoming outdated, urgently needing rapid product updates to maintain sales.
This car can't actually fly; instead, it is equipped with jet technology derived from SpaceX's Falcon rockets. Essentially, Musk has further integrated the technologies of his companies Tesla and SpaceX. Both sides have mature technologies, but combining them is very cool.
There are also rumors that Tesla's earnings call might reveal news of a merger between the two companies. However, as we analyzed during the Q2 earnings, a merger initiated when SPCX is priced high and TSLA is priced low would be optimal for Musk, but the current stock prices do not support this, so further adjustments on both sides may follow.
This new product launch won't affect the already closed Q3 earnings, but if the earnings report looks weak, the positive sentiment from this product launch could provide strong support and buffer against declines.
One more thing: this technology seems pretty useless in daily use. This is not a truly practical flying car. If it ejects randomly and falls, it could injure pedestrians. Perhaps the only use case is like a fighter jet's ejection seat? Ejecting to avoid danger when the brake pedal of the car behind breaks and can't stop?#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息?
Upstream and downstream inflation both exceeded expectations, directly extinguishing the market's previous optimistic sentiment about inflation easing. Consumer-end CPI rebounded, upstream PPI rose in sync, and the stickiness of energy combined with service prices makes the Federal Reserve cautious. CME interest rate pricing quickly shifted, with over 90% of market trading funds betting on at least one more 25bp rate hike this year. A series of officials have turned hawkish, stating that inflation risks remain and reserving the option to continue raising rates.
However, internal divisions remain clear:
The hawkish side believes that the rebound of upstream and downstream inflation resonance, if left unchecked, will undo previous anti-inflation efforts, so rate hikes must continue to firmly defend the 2% inflation target.
Dovish officials worry that current rates are already high, the lagging negative effects of rate hikes have not fully appeared, and further increases could easily drag the economy into recession, advocating for more observation of employment data.
Reflecting on crypto market sentiment, the risk-averse mindset is clear, with rising US Treasury yields suppressing risk assets. ETH is more sensitive to interest rates, with leveraged positions concentratedly liquidated, and liquidation scale far exceeding BTC. BTC, relying on quasi-safe-haven attributes, is relatively resistant to declines, but bullish momentum has already faded.
The market has already priced in rate hike expectations in advance; an actual rate hike would be a fully priced negative; if rate hikes pause, a short-term emotional recovery wave will follow. Upcoming employment data will become the key factor determining the final direction. Netflix will disclose its Q3 earnings after the U.S. market closes on October 20. The company previously guided that Q3 revenue is expected to be about $12.86 billion, a year-over-year increase of about 12%. This growth rate has slowed compared to earlier periods, and the market generally believes that Netflix's user growth is gradually slowing down.
The traditional subscription membership business has entered a saturation phase, making it increasingly difficult to add new paying members. The room for price increases is also constrained by users' tolerance, so relying solely on membership fees to drive growth has limited potential. The low-cost subscription plan with ads has become Netflix's most critical growth focus at present. The ad-supported plan attracts price-sensitive users with a lower threshold, which can both acquire new users and reduce churn. Advertising revenue can bring a second growth curve, boosting overall profits. The market is closely watching the penetration rate of the advertising business and the price per ad to see if it can make up for the slowdown in membership growth.
On the positive side, the number of ad plan users continues to expand, advertising revenue is growing rapidly, driving an increase in overall operating profit margin; high-quality original content continues to stabilize user retention, and there is still some penetration space in overseas markets. #特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点
Currently, market sentiment is quite evident, with forecasts mostly betting that this earnings report will exceed expectations. However, it should also be noted that if revenue or advertising business data fall short of expectations, the stock price is likely to come under pressure. #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 #特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点 #Meta巨额AI投入进入回报检验期 Yesterday's high inflation environment caused Binance to liquidate over $106 million worth of $ETH long positions within an hour, marking the largest ETH long liquidation on the exchange in nearly six months. So the issue now is that although the price has returned to around $2,440, leveraged positions are clearly concentrated within a relatively narrow price range. Ajian believes this short-term rebound, stronger than BTC, is more likely a position vacuum after liquidation. From this perspective, if a large number of longs are liquidated and ETH still cannot firmly hold between $2,460 and $2,470, it indicates that spot support is still insufficient. It is recommended to reduce leverage and clear liquidation distances.SanDisk $SNDK, I bought back this position again 😂
Last time I went long at 1419.1 and closed all positions at 1504.6, but then the market gave me an even lower entry point
This time I bought 1 lot again at 1341.1, and unexpectedly after last night's PPI release, the intraday price even dropped to around 1270
Wow, that was really scary
But after the drop, it was pulled back up, and now it's back near 1400. This long position is floating with a profit of over 60 USD
Regarding the news about Changxin, I previously thought the market was a bit overly pessimistic, since DRAM and NAND can't be equated directly
But the collective sell-off in the memory sector does indicate that capital is starting to worry about the profitability cycle of the entire industry
Now I want to see if 1400 can hold again
After all, the hard-earned floating profit, I definitely don't want to watch it get given back again 😂
#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? Is AI really starting to pay off this time? $BTC took a hit along with it
The midday news was a bit explosive, here are the key points.
CoreWeave's five-year CDS soared to 1194 basis points, a record high, with 2031 bonds dropping to 82 cents, the market is clearly pricing in a default. Jensen Huang also added, "NVIDIA will not backstop," tightening the AI credit line directly.
Anthropic isn't doing much better: Q3 revenue looks strong at $16.8 billion, but growth was almost zero in August and September, and IPO valuation expectations have been cut from 2 trillion to 1.5 trillion.
On the macro side, another blow: US September PPI at 6.3%, expected only 5.3%, pushing rate hike expectations higher. Safe-haven funds are flowing into gold and silver, risk assets are collectively taking a hit, so $BTC dropping a bit is no surprise.
My view: this round of decline is not about faith, but leverage. AI and crypto share the same pool of risk capital; when the pump stops, both sides get thirsty. Don't rush to bottom-fish in the short term, wait until the CoreWeave bomb becomes clearer.
By the way, the Russian central bank has confirmed it will ban P2P Bitcoin trading, so OTC is about to get heated again.

Zuckerberg said something interesting
He openly admitted that Meta had to commit to spending 100 to 200 billion USD on AI infrastructure before the model was even validated. At that time, even Alexandr Wang, who was in charge of AI, couldn't guarantee success. The CFO repeatedly warned that failure would be disastrous. But Zuckerberg said, "I have to do it," a typical case of being forced into it.
Meta will release its Q3 earnings on October 21, and the market is wat Tonight's data explosion caused the crypto market to first crash then rebound. Who is really winning?
At 20:30, all the data came out. In one sentence: the economy is not weak, inflation remains high, and rate cuts are still far off.
· Retail monthly rate 0.8%, looks strong, but excluding gas stations it's only 0.2%, underlying consumption is actually cooling down
· PPI annual rate 6.3%, monthly rate 1.3%, both off the charts, upstream inflation is rising again
· New York manufacturing 25.5, a five-year high, the economy is heating up
· Initial jobless claims 199,000, employment remains tight
This combination directly crushed rate cut expectations. BTC briefly fell below 80,000, with $929 million liquidated in 24 hours, bulls wiped out $777 million.
But interestingly—it fell then bounced back.
Two reasons:
1. The 10-year US Treasury yield fell from 5.36% to 5.04%, giving risk assets a breather
2. After massive leverage was cleared, selling pressure temporarily dried up, and short covering pushed prices up
Now focus on a range: 81,000 to 81,700.
Below is liquidity from bull liquidations; breaking it could lead to further testing; standing above 82,800 would confirm the rebound.
Macro bearish factors have landed, but the market isn't as fragile as expected. Don't chase highs or panic sell; wait for the structure to develop.
This is not investment advice. Crypto is volatile; only trade if you can handle the risk.
#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? $BTC $ETH #NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins $BTC Bitcoin's hash rate just hit a new high, but the cost is that difficulty will increase by over five points this Friday — and the miners' income from transaction fees, which they originally relied on to hedge, is now almost zero.
With the hash rate rising, block time is squeezed down to nine and a half minutes, close to the ten-minute target, so the protocol will adjust the difficulty upward according to the rules to reclaim that half minute. When difficulty rises, the same machines mine 5.4% fewer coins daily, and the daily output per unit of hash power drops from just under forty dollars to just over thirty-seven dollars.
This time there is no buffer. The network has nearly 80,000 pending transactions, but everyone is only willing to pay the lowest fee rate, so fee income is negligible. Previously, this part accounted for 20-30% of miners' income and served as a cushion during price drops; now that cushion is gone, income is left solely with the block subsidy.
The subsidy is fixed, but costs are rising. An older machine with medium efficiency and electricity priced at eight cents per kWh used to yield just over one dollar in gross profit daily before the adjustment, but after the adjustment it directly runs at a loss. These machines have only two options left: shut down or sell coins to cover electricity costs.
The miners' cost threshold is right here, with prices hovering nearby. Hash rate won't retreat on its own; only price can force it to retreat — and when that happens, what usually appears first is not a sell-off, but a drop in hash rate. $BTC Last night’s dip to $80,000 probably made many friends’ hearts skip a beat. Everyone should be able to see that this is the combined effect of hotter-than-expected US inflation, weakening Asian markets, and declining risk appetite. But Ajian believes the most important information from this move is that the market completed a position reshuffle in a short time. During the drop, longs were forced to sell, and during the rebound, shorts may have started to cover. The price looks like it just bounced back from around $80,000, but the players inside have already changed.
So, looking at the current price, it doesn’t seem like a guaranteed rise after liquidation, but more like a technical repair after deleveraging. Spot demand has not fully returned. A true trend reversal should simultaneously see spot trading volume rise, the price firmly hold above $82,600, and ETF flows stop deteriorating.
Also, although the liquidation amount this time was large, it doesn’t mean the selling pressure is completely over. Some longs were just liquidated, and remaining spot holders may still be waiting for better prices to exit. Ajian does not recommend using “it has already dropped” as a reason to add positions #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? The GFS Pride sinking and Kpler's estimate that Hormuz oil flows fell about 43% from pre-conflict levels put the risk beyond headlines: physical delivery is already constrained. Saudi output and alternative routes may soften the shock, but freight and insurance costs could keep supply uncertain even if volumes begin to recover.
#HormuzOilShippingRisks Double inflation hit forces market to reassess
CPI just exceeded expectations, and PPI added another blow. US September PPI year-on-year at 6.3%, month-on-month at 1.3%, with core indicators also running hot; combined with CPI and core CPI fully surpassing expectations, two consecutive data sets indicate: inflation is not tamed, and rising energy and commodity prices are permeating from production to consumption.
Previously, the market bet on no change in October, but now this logic needs recalculating. Expectations for another rate hike this year are heating up, US Treasury yields and the dollar index find it easier to rise than fall, and risk asset valuations face a new round of pressure. The Federal Reserve is not united internally: Daly believes a rate hike may be necessary but not urgent, while Goolsbee emphasizes reliance on more data. This morning, a dialogue between Walsh and the IMF chief—if hawkish, the market will have to endure; if downplaying monthly volatility, sentiment may briefly stabilize.
$BTC faces more direct short-term pressure. 80,000 is the short-term dividing line between bulls and bears; losing it may trigger stop-losses and further decline; resistance lies between 83,500–84,500 above, with support at 81,500–82,000 below. Inflation has not retreated, the game is not over, and position sizing matters more than opinions.

1. Core differences between the two stock tokenization models
Both Binance and OKX (formerly OKEx) have iterated their stock tokenization businesses. The current mainstream models show significant differences in issuance logic, compliance framework, and risk isolation:
1. Issuer and responsibility division
- Binance (bStocks, 2026 relaunch): The issuer is Binance Group’s affiliated SPV company BTech Holdings Limited (registered in Abu Dhabi Global Market ADGM). Binance is deeply involved in product design, issuance, and full-process operations, with compliance responsibility mainly within the Binance system. The 2021 old version cooperated with Germany’s CM-Equity for issuance but was stopped by multiple regulators due to the platform bearing securities issuance risks.
- OKX: Uses a fully third-party issuance model. OKX only acts as a trading venue and infrastructure provider and does not issue any tokenized stocks itself. Current issuance partners include:
- xStocks (issued by Backed Finance under Payward, regulated by Swiss DLT Act)
- Ondo Finance (US-registered investment advisor RIA, offshore CeDeFi model)
- ICE joint venture (US licensed broker dealer path)
2. Underlying assets and custody mechanisms
Both current versions use 1:1 real stock backing, with underlying assets held by regulated custodians, but details differ:
- Binance bStocks: Underlying US stocks are held by issuers through compliant custodians and can be verified via Binance’s collateral proof page. Corporate actions like dividends and stock splits are automatically handled on-chain via multiplier mechanisms (dividends reinvested).
- OKX xStocks: Underlying stocks are held by Swiss licensed custodians, strictly following the Swiss Distributed Ledger Technology Act, with real-time on-chain reserve verification; ICE joint venture series directly connects to the US DTCC traditional clearing system, consistent with standard broker logic.
3. Compliance framework and regulatory coverage
- Binance: The 2021 old version was warned and forcibly shut down by regulators including Germany’s BaFin, UK’s FCA, and Hong Kong SFC for unlicensed securities issuance; the 2026 relaunched bStocks only obtained compliance qualification in the single jurisdiction of Abu Dhabi ADGM (classified as "financial instrument certificates"), remaining in regulatory gray areas in most EU, Asia-Pacific markets, and explicitly excludes US users.
- OKX: Adopts a layered compliance framework matching different risk-level products with different regulatory regimes:
- Offshore layer (Ondo): For non-US users, providing tokenized ETF connections as a registered investment advisor without broker-dealer license obligations
- Swiss layer (xStocks): Third-party independent issuance regulated by Swiss DLT Act, with compliance responsibility on issuers
- US layer (ICE joint venture X series): Through licensed broker dealers under SEC/FINRA supervision, meeting Reg SHO short-selling rules and DTCC clearing requirements, one of the highest compliance levels in the industry
4. Product form and ecosystem
- Binance: bStocks issued on BNB Chain (BEP-20 standard), deeply integrated with Binance ecosystem, supporting self-custody and DeFi protocol applications; BNB Chain also hosts third-party tokenized stocks like Ondo, with separate trading and fragmented liquidity.
- OKX: Supports multi-chain tokens including Solana and X Layer, pioneering a unified trading market model—integrating tokenized stocks of the same underlying from different issuers into a single order book, solving the industry-wide liquidity fragmentation problem.
2. Compliance comparison conclusion
From the perspective of compliance framework completeness and risk isolation, OKX overall outperforms Binance’s current bStocks, mainly because:
1. More thorough risk isolation: OKX tokens are fully issued by third-party licensed institutions, with OKX only as a trading platform, bearing no securities issuance compliance responsibility; Binance bStocks issuers are affiliated companies, concentrating compliance risk within the platform.
2. Richer compliance levels: OKX offers a full path from offshore light regulation to fully licensed US operations, adaptable to different jurisdictions; Binance currently relies only on a single offshore ADGM qualification with limited coverage.
3. Smoother regulatory history: Binance was penalized and forcibly shut down by multiple regulators for stock token business, with compliance blemishes; OKX’s tokenized stock business has not faced major regulatory bans since launch.
3. Important risk warnings
1. Domestic compliance risk: Neither has obtained any license from Chinese financial regulators. Providing tokenized stock services to mainland China users is illegal, with no legal protection or fund security.
2. Regulatory classification risk: Most jurisdictions worldwide have unclear legal definitions for tokenized stocks. If classified as securities in the future, they may face regulatory bans, asset freezes, and other risks.
3. Incomplete rights: Tokenized stocks do not represent actual equity in the underlying company, usually lack voting rights, and dividend rights are often reflected as token price adjustments or reinvestments, not equivalent to full shareholder rights of direct stock ownership.#奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点
Netflix's bearish outlook mainly stems from the peak of growth dividends and pressure from high valuations. The effectiveness of cracking down on parasitic accounts is diminishing, mature markets are saturated, and frequent price hikes may drive up cancellation rates. Additionally, monetization of the ad plan has not yet fully materialized, and heavy investment in sports live streaming will increase content costs. With a relatively high P/E ratio, if revenue growth slows, it is very likely to trigger a valuation correction. #美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息? #ETF与巨鲸资金分化,BTC能否守住8万美元?
🤔 Honestly, I am more cautious about Bitcoin's short-term trend than I was a few days ago.
Here appears a divergence signal worth warning about:
The 10-year US Treasury yield is falling, the dollar is weakening, and gold is strengthening.
Normally, these conditions should be favorable for BTC.
However, the price once dipped near $80,000.
Add one more key data point: on October 14, the US spot BTC ETF saw a net outflow of $261 million.
This leads to a hypothesis: the current market may not be trading on "future liquidity easing" but rather on "risk aversion panic."
There are two scenarios for the decline in US Treasury yields:
✅ Scenario one: betting on a rate cut, with funds wanting to flow into risk assets.
Scenario two: out of fear, everyone rushes to buy government bonds for safety.
If it is the latter, the yield drop may not be able to support the price of Bitcoin $SOL $BTC $ETH US September CPI rose 3.7% year-on-year, higher than the expected 3.6%; core CPI also exceeded expectations. After the data release, market bets on further Fed rate hikes surged significantly, with high-valuation tech stocks taking the brunt first. AI debt and financing risks exposed (structural pain points)
AI cloud service provider CoreWeave's bond yields soared to nearly 15%, and its stock price plummeted over 15% in a single day. Elon Musk's public response of "yikes" further amplified market panic. The market began to question the sustainability of massive debt-driven expansion in AI infrastructure, with related stocks such as Oracle and Dell also sharply falling. High valuations combined with profit-taking
The S&P 500's price-to-earnings ratio was previously at a relatively high level above 29 times, significantly higher than the median of the past decade. The tech sector accumulated strong profit-taking demand after continuous gains, and rising international oil prices further intensified market concerns about tightening liquidity, creating a "double whammy" pressure.
The essence of this round of decline is a pricing restructuring as the market shifts from an "AI narrative-driven" to an "AI profit validation" focus—macro rate hike pressures and micro financing risks resonate, forcing capital to reassess the high valuation foundations of tech stocks.Midday Notes: Warsh finished speaking at 11:30, not a single word given, 82,000 still in place
The article this morning said the real test was at 11:30. After the test, a blank paper was handed in: Warsh did not make any predictions throughout the IMF annual meeting, repeatedly saying only "no pre-judgment of meeting decisions," giving no hint about whether there will be a rate hike on October 27–28; he only reiterated that there was already one hike in September and that price stability must be delivered. After today's speech, the Fed enters a quiet period, and no one will speak before the meeting.
The market's response was honest—no direction. At 11 o'clock, the hourly candle first dipped to 81,688, then pulled back to close at 82,126; now BTC is at 82,034 (12:44, my checked price), after a morning and midday session, still grinding within the 81,688–82,634 range, with volume shrinking. ETH is at 2,439, lowest touched 2,424, 2,400 was not touched at all.
My view as an old retail trader: no news is the news today. The market waited in vain but also eliminated the biggest uncertainty—no data or speeches in the next ten days, so the market can only choose sides based on its own volume. If the range holds, I won't take sides; if it really breaks, the closing price decides, and either side is fine.
Just one question: before today's close, will 82,634 break first, or 81,688?#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息?
The rebound is not a new bull market, just a technical recovery after deleveraging.
BTC: Spot still has a net outflow of 133 million in 24h, with 13.7 million outflow in 1h, indicating buyers at low levels but no chasing at high levels; contracts have a combined outflow of 317 million in 1h+4h, leverage is also withdrawing. There is support at 80,000, 83,000–84,000 is the previous high plus a dense chip trading zone; failure to hold means oscillation between 79,000–83,000.
ETH: Don’t be fooled by the 375 million net inflow in 24h contracts—1h/4h contracts have already turned to outflow, and spot has a 57.05 million outflow in 24h. This money mainly comes from short covering and long position covering, not from allocation buying. ETH/BTC has no bottom, moving averages are down, the rebound is more of a pullback than a reversal.
So don’t get ahead of yourself now. There are only two confirmation signals: 1h spot net flow of BTC/ETH turns positive, and BTC recovers above 83,000. The invalidation signals are simple: BTC falls below 80,000, ETH spot outflow expands.
On the macro side, PPI exceeds expectations, US Treasury yields are capped, and rate cut pricing is delayed, so the ceiling for risk assets is limited.
In short: funds are not in place, so don’t position yourself fully; wait for a pullback to buy, it’s more dignified than chasing highs. Data is scorching hot, trust is cooling down (。•́︿•̀。)
September PPI hit a new high since the end of 2022, with the core also exceeding expectations, and energy prices rising over 10% in a single month. CPI just heated up, and now PPI strikes again. The data is so hot, yet officials are still dodging the issue, making the market suspect: what’s being priced in isn’t inflation, but the Federal Reserve’s credibility. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
$BTC first broke 80,000, bottomed at 79,800, then sharply pulled back above 82,000. Such a deep V-shape doesn’t look like retail investor behavior. ETF net outflow was 3,209 BTC in one day, 5,250 BTC over seven days; institutions retreat, on-chain whales take over. Chips are moving from fast money to slow money. (•̀ᴗ•́)و
$ETH is weaker. ETF outflow was 38,915 ETH on the same day; institutions are pulling out, starting with it. Leverage is already low; if key support holds, short covering might give a short bounce; but ETFs are still bleeding, so don’t rush to call a rebound. (´・_・`)
Gold also fell; what’s running are futures speculative longs, while gold ETFs and central banks are taking over. BTC relies on on-chain whales, gold relies on central banks and sovereign funds — patience is on a different scale. ( ̄▽ ̄)~*
PPI exploded, but the deep V indicates real buying at low levels. The three data points just landed; hold your spot in the spot market; don’t chase the first candlestick. (ง •_•)ง
