About CPIPPIHikeWatch

US inflation and spending data could test Fed rate expectations. Sep CPI and core CPI are due Oct 14 at 8:30 am ET; Sep PPI, retail sales and weekly jobless claims follow Oct 15 at the same time. September Fed minutes pointed to a possible further hike this year, though timing remains uncertain. Hot inflation and resilient sales could lift October hike odds; softer core inflation could support a pause. Which data point will move Treasuries, the dollar, gold and BTC most?

Oil has dropped from $102, easing the war premium around the Strait of Hormuz and supporting Bitcoin’s rebound toward $84,000. The logic is simple: rising oil fuels inflation fears and rate-hike expectations, pressuring risk assets. Falling oil eases those concerns and supports a recovery—even amid $681 million in weekly spot BTC ETF outflows. Now, all eyes are on upcoming CPI and PPI data. $BTC $ETH $ZEC #CPIPPIHikeWatch #RussiaUkraineTruceWatch #TSMCOct15Earnings

The 6% yield question is back on the screen. PIMCO’s Dan Ivascyn has raised it as a risk scenario, not an outcome to assume. As of October 12, the latest published US Treasury 10-year yield is still the October 9 reading: 5.24%. That is high, but still 76 bps below 6%. SIFMA recommended a full close for US dollar fixed-income trading on October 12, so this is not an October 12 bond-market close. The signal is not panic. It is pressure. Key data points: • The October 7 reopening of $39B in 10-year notes cleared at a 5.300% high yield, with a 2.77 bid-to-cover ratio. Bids exceeded the amount offered, but one auction cannot tell us whether demand will hold up. • That 5.300% is an auction yield, not the latest 10-year market yield. • The October 8 auction of $22B in 30-year bonds cleared at 5.618%, with a 2.54 bid-to-cover ratio. It is a different maturity, not another 10-year yield reading. • The latest CPI report covers August: headline CPI was 3.4% YoY, core CPI was 2.4% YoY, and energy prices rose 2.1% MoM. These are past readings, not a forecast for September. The next test is September CPI, scheduled for October 14 at 8:30 am ET. After that, the Fed meets Oct 27-28, with incoming data shaping rate expectations. For BTC, the connection is real but not mechanical. Sustained higher yields can raise financing costs, pull liquidity toward safer assets and weaken risk appetite. That can hit equities and crypto. But BTC does not trade tick for tick with bonds. ETF flows, leverage, positioning, dollar strength and crypto-specific demand still matter. Forced bond selling could amplify a move, but it is a risk to monitor, not a confirmed explanation for every rise in yields. The framework: track the 10-year market yield, future Treasury auctions and CPI, then observe how BTC responds as rates change. One reading or auction alone cannot decide the outlook. 6% is a scenario to monitor, not an outcome to assume. Which signal would change your view first: inflation, bond demand or BTC’s response to higher rates? #PIMCOUS10YYield6%Risk

🔥 CPI COULD SHAKE THE CRYPTO MARKET — ARE YOU READY? 👀 “Wait for the signal. Don’t get trapped before the move.” A new week, a familiar battle. Bulls want a breakout, bears are waiting for a breakdown, and everyone is watching the Fed. But the real game-changer could be Wednesday’s CPI report. 📊 If inflation comes in softer than expected, risk assets could get some breathing room. If the numbers disappoint, volatility could hit hard. #DailyOrbit

Core CPI matters more than headline. Shelter + sticky services drive core. If core cools, Powell gets cover to cut again in December. If core re-accelerates, the "one and done" cut narrative returns. Markets hate ambiguity more than bad numbers.

🚨 Crypto markets weaken ahead of US CPI, with $BTC slipping below $83K and $ETH near $2,504. Altcoins are also under pressure as trading volume declines. With CPI approaching on October 14, volatility could increase. Is this a temporary shakeout or further downside? Stay cautious, manage risk, and wait for confirmation. #BTC #ETH #CPI #CryptoMarket #CPIPPIHikeWatch #BTCETFOutflowPressure #OKXToken2049CheckIn

Capital Behavior, Awaiting Inflation Data Release Bulls hold key price levels unwilling to retreat, while bears continue withdrawing liquidity from the market. The focus of the market battle has shifted to the upcoming CPI data release. The FOMC minutes released a hawkish signal, but from the capital behavior perspective, this is just a preliminary disturbance; the inflation data is the core of this pricing.

BULLS AND BEARS, KEEP YOUR EGOS IN CHECK THIS WEEK Everyone is waiting for the next big $BTC move, but the calendar is stacked. Oct 13 → Bank earnings + ADP employment Oct 14 → CPI + Core CPI Oct 15 → PPI + Core PPI + retail sales + jobless claims Oct 16 → Kevin Warsh + MSCI ruling + $1.28B BTC options expiry Soft inflation could fuel a relief rally. Hot inflation could bring selling pressure back. And even if you nail the macro direction, bad entries and excessive leverage can still wreck your trade. The market has a special talent for punishing people who get too confident. Trade the setup, not your ego.

The Fed’s Hawkish Minutes Are Putting Pressure on $BTC — But Is a Trend Reversal Really Coming? The September FOMC minutes delivered a hawkish message, putting short-term pressure on risk assets. However, this looks more like a warning to the market than a signal that another rate hike is imminent. #DailyOrbit
