BTC chip concentration is slightly bearish, ETH is relatively weak, and whales clearly took profits on long positions before the CPI release. The liquidation map shows large liquidity on both sides of the current price, with BTC mainly concentrated around 81k and 84k, and ETH near 2410 and 2580.
Top traders' long position exposure has reached this year's highest (93%), while retail traders on-chain are heavily shorting. Winners and losers consistently stand on opposite sides, which is very worth our attention.Don't just focus on CPI tonight; the real direction of BTC depends on the U.S. Treasury first signaling its stance.
At 20:30 tonight, the U.S. September CPI will be released.
BTC is currently at 83,482, with a 24-hour high of 84,147 and a low of 82,956; ETH is around 2,507. On the surface, BTC looks stable, but in reality, the market is compressed within a narrow range of just over a thousand dollars, and the direction is still undecided.
The market expects the overall CPI year-over-year to rise from 3.4% to 3.6%, with a month-over-month increase possibly reaching 0.6%, mainly influenced by energy prices. What truly determines the risk asset reaction is whether the core CPI month-over-month can drop to 0.2%, and where the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield moves after the data release.
My judgment is straightforward:
If the core CPI is no higher than 0.2% and Treasury yields fall in sync, BTC must break above 84,150 with volume to qualify for a continued rise toward 85,500–86,000; even if the data looks good, if Treasury yields don’t fall, such a rally is prone to a sharp pullback.
Conversely, if core data is hotter and Treasury yields surge, once 82,950 is lost, look first to 82,000, then 80,800. If ETH simultaneously drops below 2,488, its pullback will be faster than BTC’s.
So tonight, I won’t guess the numbers or chase the direction prematurely. First watch the Treasury, then see if BTC can break out of the range. The data determines the first candlestick; the Treasury determines how far that candlestick can go.

The building hit was the administrative building, not the wellhead.
▪️ On the evening of 10/13, a ballistic missile struck an administrative building in Saudi Aramco's Dhahran headquarters campus
▪️ The top three floors were damaged and a limited fire broke out, with no casualties confirmed by the Saudi Ministry of Energy
▪️ The Dhahran campus houses the operations center responsible for managing the scheduling of onshore oil and gas facilities network
▪️ Houthi forces previously warned that Saudi Aramco's oil facilities are "legitimate targets"
▪️ Oil prices rose to a two-week high, CL +1.97%, BZ +0.70%
▪️ On 10/5, Aramco's official November selling price: Asia discount of 5 USD, the largest since June 2020
The disagreement is not about the severity of the attack, but whether the building hit was an administrative building or a production facility.
The Dhahran campus manages operations scheduling, not wellheads or refineries. Hitting an office building temporarily affects scheduling and personnel arrangements; to impact barrel flow, production, processing, or export facilities must be hit. This time, the oil price reflects a risk premium, not a supply gap.
The direction is to wait and see — if production facilities are undamaged, the premium will retreat; if the strike hits export terminals, prices will rise further. The market is all waiting for the CPI data release to make a move, but the L2 sector has already taken action?
$OP surged 24% in one day, and the coins in the same sector followed suit with gains.
This sudden surge happened when the market hadn't reacted in the past couple of days; L2 was quietly strengthening. The first to break upwards was ZK, and today OPA is taking over the momentum. Funds are rotating and speculating within this theme.
But the rise is strange: OP surged the most, with a market cap of only 685 million, while $APR rose the least despite having a market cap of 1.806 billion.
In short, this rally is a short-term rebound of oversold small-cap coins, not a real fundamental improvement. Going forward, it depends on whether the actual on-chain data can keep up. If TVL, fees, and buy-side support don't follow, this rebound will fade and prices will fall back! #九月CPI今晚公布,美联储加息分歧待解 #台积电Q3营收创新高,盈利表现待揭晓 #闪迪美光下跌,长鑫技术进展受关注 #美俄柴油合作遭国会反对,停火条件仍存分歧 Why are crypto and the US Dollar Index diverging amid differing interest rate expectations?
The US Dollar Index weakened following dovish statements, yet the crypto market showed clear internal divergence. New York Fed President Williams suggested no rate hikes are needed until 2027, easing long-term rate expectations and briefly boosting risk appetite. Capital rotation is evident: BTC rose about 1.5% to near 83,900, ZEC gained nearly 7%, SOL and DOGE strengthened simultaneously, while ETH remained mostly flat. This divergence and the slight rebound in US stocks move in the same direction but do not indicate a strong causal link.
Market funds are only speculating on long-term rate narratives without heavy positions. Traders understand these remarks target several years ahead; the possibility of rate hikes within the year remains. Thursday's CPI data is the key to whether the Fed will raise rates further and whether BTC can test the 85,000 level. This rally stems from short-covering and short-term sentiment recovery, not a trend reversal. Confidence in ETH is weak, altcoin impulse sustainability is questionable, and bulls are reluctant to leverage before data release.
If CPI significantly exceeds expectations, this sentiment recovery logic will immediately fail.
$BTC $ETH $SOL BTC contract buying, spot still selling: Who will catch this rebound?
My current cautious short-term stance is simple: BTC and ETH contract buying has returned, but spot hasn't caught up yet.
According to the latest data, the divergence in capital flow is already very clear.
① BTC: Contract hot, spot cold
In the past hour, net inflow into contracts was $81.82 million, about $119 million over 4 hours.
At the same time, spot saw net outflows of $26.73 million and $35.72 million respectively. Short-term buying is gaining strength, but spot selling pressure remains. How far the rebound can go depends on subsequent support.
② ETH: Spot selling pressure is more prominent
Spot net outflow was $89.6 million over 4 hours, about $208 million over 24 hours; contract net inflow over 4 hours was only $17.6 million.
I will first watch if spot outflows can narrow and if buying continues to follow, only then will the rebound have more confidence.
③ SOL, ZEC: Starting to diverge
SOL's 24-hour spot net inflow is $34.99 million, still positive over 4 hours, showing relatively better support.
ZEC's 24-hour spot net inflow is $15.52 million, but in the recent 4 hours both spot and contracts have turned negative, indicating increasing short-term selling pressure.
My view:
Currently, it looks more like a short-term correction; a full-strength turnaround still needs spot confirmation. Next, focus on whether BTC and ETH spot can turn positive continuously.
Contracts have already stepped on the gas, spot needs to follow.$BTC: Institutional short-term funds are retreating, but whales are still accumulating. The US premium index has turned negative, yet the number of addresses holding 100–1000 BTC has reached a new high, with whales cumulatively buying over 80,000 BTC in three weeks. Long-term funds are providing support, but short-term buying is insufficient.
If the core CPI is 0.2%, BTC is expected to challenge $84,000–$85,000; if it exceeds 0.3%, bulls near $81,000 should beware of a new round of liquidation.
$ETH: Last week, spot ETF net outflows exceeded $500 million, with BlackRock accounting for nearly $500 million. Although leverage has dropped to a seven-month low and funding rates have turned negative, requiring shorts to pay holding costs, continuous ETF outflows remain a hidden risk. Holding support and short covering could drive a rebound, but the key is when funds will return.
$XAUT: Short-term speculative funds are exiting, but long-term allocation demand remains strong. Gold ETF net inflows in Q3 hit a record high, central banks worldwide have increased gold reserves for 23 consecutive months, and September's increase reached a cycle high.
Investment is similar: when making money, one feels insightful; when losing, one blames the market—this is a common cognitive bias. Distinguishing luck from skill helps avoid overestimating one’s judgment. One profit does not prove skill, nor does one loss mean the strategy failed; the key is reviewing and learning.
For $BTC, watch whales' capacity to absorb; for gold, watch long-term allocation demand. Before the CPI release, don’t rush to take sides; controlling position size and preserving capital is more important than blindly chasing highs or selling lows.
#九月CPI今晚公布,美联储加息分歧待解 Brothers, this $W short position has a 94% return, and I'm preparing to take profits in batches.
Entered at 0.02375, current price 0.016294, return +94.18%. I've made the gains, but now I'm not thinking about greed, but how to protect the profits.
Why consider exiting now?
First, unlocking and landing on October 16. About 58.33 million W tokens will be unlocked, accounting for 0.9% of the circulating supply. When the positive news is fully priced in, it turns negative; after the short logic is realized, a rebound could happen anytime.
Second, the order book is starting to support. B 51% vs S 49%, the buying side is slowly propping up, although not strongly, the space for further decline is narrowing.
Third, the return is close to doubling, it's time to be satisfied. Altcoin markets rise fast and fall fast, don't expect to get the very last bite.
Trading plan: Take half profits near 0.016, set a trailing stop for the rest, exit all if it falls below 0.015. This short position was held from 0.0317 to now, I've made enough, securing profits is what matters.
Brothers, are you ready to exit this short position?ZEC's V-shaped rebound should not be mistaken for a reversal
The market looks a bit tricky, so don't get ahead of yourself. ZEC followed Bitcoin down to 1120 in the early session, then was forcefully pulled back to 1220 at noon, with bears getting slapped back and forth. However, multiple technical timeframes still lean bearish, open interest is dropping, and the long-short ratio is 46:54, with shorts dominating.
The capital structure is strange: many shorts with light positions; few longs but with heavy single trades. This setup makes me lean towards a dead cat bounce, a struggle in a downtrend continuation, not a reversal.
Avoid NEAR recently; liquidity is poor, large orders can easily manipulate the market, and uncertainty is too high.
There are two biggest regrets in trading: greed, exiting only after profits have been given back; fear, running away at the first sign of floating profit and missing out on big gains. The root cause is not clarifying the timeframe before opening a position. Entering on a 15-minute signal but expecting a 4-hour move is unrealistic. If the 15-minute move finishes but you don't exit, floating profit turns into a stop loss; entering on a 4-hour signal but panicking before the trend ends leads to regret.
Before CPI, the market is more prone to traps, so control your hands and wait for signals.
#CPI与PPI公布在即,加息预期迎考验 Negative news is flying everywhere, yet $BTC refuses to drop! But now might not be the best time to bottom-fish.
Here's the market update for you guys today. The Federal Reserve keeps sending hawkish signals, crude oil has broken through $105, and geopolitical tensions are heating up. Logically, risk assets should be under pressure, but $BTC has only fallen 0.13%, indicating the market's reaction to bad news is weakening.
However, don't rush to call a reversal.
What’s most worrisome now is that $BTC’s premium has turned negative, yet funding rates remain positive. Spot is weak, but contract longs are still paying fees. This combination suggests longs might be crowded. If support breaks, the risk of a stampede can't be ignored.
My judgment is clear: short-term oscillation with caution, no chasing the rally, and no rushing to bottom-fish.
Watch if $BTC can effectively break through $84,116 and hold above it before looking higher; if it falls below $82,908, be prepared for further short-term declines.
$ETH is relatively weaker, and although $XRP has institutional listings and ecosystem cooperation as positives, funds have not yet clearly followed. Be even more cautious with $ONDO; the RWA narrative is heating up again, but the price isn’t buying it.
Next, focus on the US CPI and geopolitical situation. Trading isn’t about who acts fastest, but who can control their impulses. Without certainty, be patient and wait.$AEON is completely separated from its native coin and business; the success of the business has nothing to do with the native coin. It's somewhat like an air coin, purely narrative.CPI night, don't just focus on the numbers
Tonight's CPI, the real suspense is not about the year-over-year points, but that funds have long gone their separate ways.
$BTC: On-chain support, institutions hesitant.
Coinbase premium turns negative, institutions are cashing out; but the number of addresses holding 100–1000 coins on-chain hits a new high, with whales buying over 80,000 coins in three weeks. There is support at the bottom, but chasing highs is weak. If core CPI is 0.2%, BTC could reach 84,000–85,000; if 0.3%, the 81,000 support will be further tested.
$ETH: Shorts pay the price, waiting for ETF turnaround.
Spot ETF outflows exceeded 500 million last week, BlackRock reduced nearly 500 million. But leverage ratio dropped to a seven-month low, funding rates turned negative, raising short position costs. If support holds, short covering could trigger a rebound; the premise is ETF stops bleeding first, which is not yet seen.
Gold: Speculation retreats, allocation advances.
Futures longs withdraw, but gold ETFs continue to attract funds, with record net inflows in Q3; central banks have increased holdings for 23 consecutive months, with September's increase the largest this year.
Different buyers, different patience: BTC relies on whales, gold on central banks. Don't bet on data, bet on fund divergence. BTC waits for institutions to return, ETH waits for ETF to stop bleeding, gold has solid logic supporting the bottom.

#BTC现货ETF再度净流出,机构买盘能否回暖?
#交易之声:你的经验值得被听到 $80,000 $BTC, what’s really missing is follow-up capital 💸
The price barely holds at 80K, but the ETF ledger is "bleeding": Bitcoin spot ETFs saw a net outflow of nearly $680 million last week, and Ethereum ETFs also lost about $540 million, totaling over $1.2 billion. 📉 The market hasn’t crashed, but chips are quietly changing hands, which is more intriguing than a big bearish candle.
Institutions don’t seem to be fleeing; it looks more like active deleveraging and reducing exposure. 🛡️ The Fed remains hawkish, the dollar and U.S. Treasury yields stay high, risk appetite is suppressed, and for crypto to keep rallying, what’s missing is new money, not slogans.
The next focus is the October 14 CPI. 🔥 If inflation exceeds expectations, risk assets may come under pressure again; only cooling data could open a window for a rebound.
So, don’t call every bounce a bull market return. 👀 What really matters: whether ETFs can shift from net outflows to net inflows, and whether BTC’s rebound can hold key levels.
Bottoming or consolidation? Don’t watch sentiment, watch the capital flow. Patience can sometimes be more valuable than predictions. ⏳#九月CPI今晚公布,美联储加息分歧待解 #台积电Q3营收创新高,盈利表现待揭晓 #韩股急跌后反弹收窄,半导体买盘能否持续? Tonight CPI arrives
Market expectations are generally high, mainly influenced by September's energy prices
Personally, I believe inflation driven by supply-side factors cannot be curbed by interest rate hikes alone; data excluding energy prices is more realistic, so core CPI is very important
Let's recall, after the rate hike in September, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq both hit new highs, and crypto also strengthened last month, with crypto concept stocks broadly rising, while gold kept falling
This year's market targets are extremely counterintuitive, almost all digesting expectations; the only one with strong continuity is gold. With the US dollar index's strong rebound over nearly two months, voices hyping an AI bubble are growing louder. Market liquidity is not actually tight; it's just that funds can't find good outlets. You can review the impact of the September rate hike on the US stock market's 'Seven Sisters'—not only did their market caps not fall, they actually recovered, with Nvidia and Apple hitting new highs consecutively
Therefore, once October rate hike expectations cool down, we can't just follow the textbook. I personally favor going against the grain and advise not to be the one waiting for the boot to drop
No more nonsense, Xinghe is optimistic that core CPI equals expectations, or that the probability of a rate hike in October is low. Then most people will definitely think their holdings are safe, but what I want to emphasize is 'it's time to run'
The only asset that can try to go up is 'gold', but you must wait until it is oversold to around 4000 before acting 10.14BTC
The threat of a rate hike in December is hanging over us, so why am I still going long?
Because nothing counts before the rate hike is implemented in December.
Also, the 870 level has been tested four times without breaking through; there is a dense buildup of short positions above. The 🐶 market makers won’t let the shorts be that comfortable.
Most likely, they will first sweep out the liquidity above and then wait until December to start pushing prices down.
Moreover, the current price is still above a major support level, and every dip is a good opportunity to get in.
$BTC $ETH $ZEC #九月CPI今晚公布,美联储加息分歧待解 #闪迪美光下跌,长鑫技术进展受关注 #台积电Q3营收创新高,盈利表现待揭晓 Zero interest, sounds like free money. 52 billion yen, about over 300 million USD, maturing in 2031, but the conversion price is set above the current price—if the stock price doesn't rise, bondholders won't convert, and cash must be paid at maturity.
The company has put its bottom line on the table: the current stock price has already fallen below the value of the Bitcoin they hold. So they borrow zero-interest debt, using 23.6 billion to redeem the mortgaged Bitcoin, and 28.3 billion to buy back 7% of their own shares in off-market block trades.
This money is not for buying coins, it's for buying leverage—the question of whether the discount can be made up depends on whether the next market cycle shows some respect.
$BTC
$ETH Price is falling, but shorts are paying longs.
What has changed? BTC dropped from 84,113 to 83,507, weakening over the past hour. However, the perpetual contract funding rate fell to -0.0029%, meaning short holders are paying longs. In the past 24 hours, BTC short liquidations reached $11.72 million, while long liquidations were only $8.38 million, indicating shorts are being wiped out more severely.
Why is this worth noting? When the price falls, longs should be squeezed. But the negative funding rate shows shorts are actively adding positions, while the spot ETF saw a net inflow of 176 million yesterday, with FBTC alone accounting for 103 million. Shorts are crowded on the contract side, and spot funds are absorbing.
Which observation is more supported? It supports the "passive rebound driven by short covering" more. The price is running near the upper Bollinger Band but hasn't effectively broken through. Combined with the negative funding rate, it looks more like short covering pushing the price up rather than new funds actively going long.
Tonight at 20:30, CPI will be released, expected to rise to 3.6% year-over-year. The liquidation heatmap shows strong short liquidation intensity of 1.721 billion above 87,510. Shorts are lining up, and CPI is the starting gun—who will fall first? $BTC $OKB
The net change in OKB is very small. Has the platform value already supported the price?
Today's midday spot 24-hour observation window: range 120.71—123.88 USDT, change +0.10%, trading volume approximately 8.7 million USDT.
Being near the flat line only indicates a mild starting return; it does not mean there were no fluctuations in between, nor does it provide changes in platform revenue. Business growth must pass through supply and equity mechanisms to be transmitted to the token; price support cannot be directly inferred from platform attention.
If the rebound near 123.88 continues to be sold off, first observe supply digestion; if equity improvement is confirmed, it can be verified and maintain higher lows, then raise the long-term demand assessment.Long and short liquidations are almost balanced, but the real anomaly lies in the liquidation heatmap.
What has changed? In the past 24 hours, Ethereum long liquidations reached 10.45 million, and short liquidations reached 10.14 million, nearly balanced. However, the liquidation heatmap shows that at the upper level of $2636, short liquidation intensity reached 1.047 billion, while at the lower level of $2388, long liquidation intensity reached 946 million.
Why is this worth attention? The near parity of long and short liquidations indicates neither side gained an advantage, but nearly 1 billion liquidation chips have accumulated at both the upper and lower levels. Ethereum liquidity on Binance has dropped to about a 7-month low, and the order book is thinning.
Which observation is more supported? It supports the "leverage standoff under tightening liquidity" scenario. Ethereum spot ETFs saw a net inflow of 24.83 million yesterday, ending 10 consecutive days of net outflows. ETF funds have just reversed direction, while both long and short positions remain heavily leveraged on the contract side, with both sides waiting for the other to make the first move.
Next, watch which level between 2388 and 2636 is tested first, and whether Binance liquidity Z-Score can recover from -1.00. A thin order book, thick landmines—who will step on the first one? $ETH The moment the blueprints were spread out, I knew this was not an ordinary expansion—Microsoft nailed the blueprint of the third-generation AI chip Maia 300 on the table, with mass delivery planned for 2027. Its inference performance per watt is about 40% higher than mainstream GPU systems, and its rack-level throughput is 7 times that of the previous generation. The stock closed at $541.15, a new closing high, yet it still hasn't touched the 52-week intraday high. This detail is critical: the load-bearing structure has been poured, but the roof is not yet capped; the market is waiting for a real load test.
From an architectural perspective, the self-developed inference chip is a replacement project for the load-bearing wall of the entire computing power building. Previously, Microsoft outsourced all structural load to external GPU suppliers, which was like handing the main beam to a neighbor for prefabrication—high cost, long scheduling, and seismic rating controlled by others. Maia 300 aims to bring this main beam into its own structural system. The 40% improvement in performance per watt is not just decorative—it’s a recalculation of the foundation’s load-bearing capacity. With the same power budget, it can support inference loads for more floors. The 7-fold rack throughput is like replacing an old silo structure with a steel frame core tube, completely reconstructing the usable space per unit volume.
The real engineering challenge has never been in the renderings. The iteration pace of the third-generation chip indicates one thing: the company has moved past the sketch phase of conceptual design and entered the rebar tying and pile testing phase. Mass deployment in 2027 means they are currently doing rebar binding and formwork setup, not just issuing press releases. Anyone familiar with construction knows that no one applauds on the day the structure is topped out, but that day determines whether the building can withstand the next earthquake.
Shifting focus to the US stock tokenized asset XSPY, its linkage logic follows the same mechanical model as this chip. Index tokenization is not about building a new building but about comprehensive pipeline integration for an entire block—rearranging dispersed stock holdings, settlement paths, and liquidity networks into a programmable main artery. The capital expenditure shift in computing power for heavyweight component stocks like Microsoft will directly change the power load distribution of the entire block. When leading companies use self-developed chips to reduce inference costs, the structural stress of cloud computing gross margins changes, and the valuation reinforcement map at the index level must also be adjusted accordingly.
I have seen too many projects die on the drawing board. Whitepapers are as polished as rendered animations, yet the foundation hasn’t even penetrated the frost layer. To judge whether an ecosystem can grow tall, I only look at three things: whether the materials are proprietary, whether the structure is redundant, and whether construction is continuous. Microsoft bets on all three on the chip mainline—self-development to reduce cost dependency, multi-generation iteration to accumulate redundancy, and an annual rhythm to ensure continuity. This is not hype; this is construction organization design.
As for those chasing short-term gains, they are always hanging exterior decorations on other people’s buildings but never look at the pile foundation inspection reports. #microsoftmaia300The liquidation volume isn't large, but leverage is quietly rebuilding.
What has changed? In the past 24 hours, the total liquidation across the network was $140 million, with longs and shorts almost evenly split, appearing as a calm shakeout. However, during the same period, BTC contract open interest surged 11.14%, reaching $61.75 billion.
Why is this noteworthy? The small liquidation volume alongside a sharp increase in open interest indicates that the leverage cleared out was quickly replaced by new positions. The liquidation map shows strong short liquidation intensity of $1.721 billion at $87,510 above, and long liquidation intensity of $1.65 billion at $79,589 below—both levels are powder kegs.
Which observation is more supported? It supports "leverage rebuilding rather than clearing." On the ETF side, FBTC saw a single-day net inflow of $103 million, with spot holdings concentrating, while speculative positions on the contract side are also accumulating simultaneously.
Next, watch whether open interest can hold above $60 billion and the price convergence direction between $83,000 and $84,000. The powder kegs are set; who holds the fuse? $BTC $ETH Regarding the current $BAT, what is its market analysis and the concentration rate of the top ten addresses? Is it, like the recently popular $STRK or $W, a case of whales pumping and dumping?
Its fundamentals are actually quite solid; it has a real product focused on browser advertising and digital advertising, and the token supply is basically fully released as an established project. However, its core issue is whether token demand can grow with ecosystem development and whether large addresses will create actual selling pressure. The top ten addresses hold about 40%, so the chips controlled by the top ten addresses are quite considerable. Therefore, my view is that it has a certain fundamental base, but it is not an asset that can guarantee an increase solely based on fundamentals. Future upside depends more on market capital. This recent surge looks very much like a price boost deliberately driven by capital!Among the 673 nodes across the entire $SOL network, 63 have set their commission to 100%.
Commission is the percentage that nodes take from staking rewards; setting it to 100% means all rewards from the delegated tokens go entirely to the node, not a single token left for the delegator. These 63 nodes are not small—they hold 24% of the total staked amount, so they are not empty shells without delegators.August core year-on-year is 2.4%, and this time the expectation is basically still around 2.4%. Many people are watching whether the overall CPI will surge to 3.6% to 3.7%, but that part is mainly driven by oil prices, with Brent now standing near $106. What really affects Bitcoin is whether core inflation is spreading. $BTC $ETH $ZEC If the core year-on-year jumps above 2.5%, it means oil price pressure is seeping into freight, wages, and goods, giving the Fed more confidence to raise rates. US Treasury yields may continue to rise, making it harder for Bitcoin to hold steady near $84,000 and more likely to look for support lower. If the core year-on-year remains at 2.4%, then this round of inflation is basically about oil. The rate decision meeting at the end of the month is very likely to hold rates, allowing US Treasuries to catch a breath and Bitcoin to have a chance to ease first. The reason the Fed is so focused on the core is because of the scare from the 1970s. In 1973, oil prices quadrupled, inflation fell and the Fed rushed to cut rates, but oil costs seeped into all goods. When Iran had issues in 1979, the second wave of inflation was worse than the first, and rates were only brought up to 20% to suppress it. This time, Iran is leading again. So don’t be misled by the headline numbers tonight; look directly at the core line. Whether it’s 2.4% or 2.5%, that 0.1 difference is the difference between Bitcoin going up or down. #SeptemberCPI released tonight, Fed rate hike divergence to be resolved #TSMC Q3 revenue hits new high, profit performance to be revealed #Korean stocks rebound narrows after sharp drop, can semiconductor buying continue? 2. Small investors are retreating, but big players are leveraging up: in September, institutional-level users borrowing $BTC with USDT loans over $10 million increased by 83.3%, while retail borrowing decreased by 17.2%. The premium on treasury stock $MSTR is gone. Strategy holds 848,250 coins worth about $70.6 billion at current prices, but the company's market cap is only about $51.1 billion.
In the past two years, the "issue shares to buy coins" model was the most profitable in the US stock market. Now the market offers a discount instead of a premium—this is a very key qualitative change in this cycle.$TRUTH has taken off!
A few points to note: The privacy narrative is different from ZEC's path, but it still involves privacy. The contracts cover almost all exchanges: OKX, Binance, BG, Gate. There must be big money behind it. From the beginning of the year until now, it has been consolidating at the bottom with repeated washouts, and only now is it showing volume and rallying. This momentum doesn't look like making pocket change.
Let's do some math: Circulating supply is 2.085 billion tokens, 0.1 corresponds to a circulating market cap of 209 million; total supply is 10 billion, 0.1 corresponds to a valuation of 1 billion. With mainstream contracts and an AI + privacy narrative, this valuation is not exaggerated. So here’s the question: spending 9 months accumulating chips and investing so much money, just to make 1 million or 5 million? Obviously not enough to break even. To profit, you’d at least need to rely on contract liquidity to make a big hit, like at the 20 million USD level.
For those who can’t hold contracts, you can study the spot market. $TRUTH below 0.1 makes me feel the story isn’t finished yet. Of course, maybe I’m just imagining the project owner is richer than they really are.Three transactions, where exactly does the money flow?
$RENDER I'll first check its supply ledger. When customers pay for rendering tasks, it triggers token burning; at the same time, the network issues token rewards to participants. So when I see the word "burning," I don't immediately conclude deflation. You have to calculate the amount burned and the amount newly issued during the same period together. It has risen about 53% in the past month, and the market has already given it a higher price. What I want to check next is whether paid tasks can continue to increase and whether burning can keep up with issuance. Customers actually spending money is more worth studying than just another popular concept.
$IMX I'll check its fee ledger. According to token rules, 20% of protocol fees must be paid in IMX; this portion is used to reward eligible stakers. Note, the 20% is calculated on fees, not game revenue. After more players join, how many chargeable transactions are generated ultimately determines the size of this demand. It's great that the game is gaining popularity, but how the revenue flows to the token still needs to be calculated clearly.
$GRT I'll check its reward ledger. Node income includes both user-paid query fees and newly issued token indexing rewards. Both appear as income but come from different sources: one from customer payments, the other from supply increase. I'm more concerned about the proportion of query fees in the income. High rewards can attract service providers, but sustained payments better demonstrate that this business has demand. 其实说实话,到10月底,甚至11月初,比较难讲,因为上面还$BLUR , $YGG , $SAND —these altcoins were once wildly popular, all belonging to the gaming or NFT.
Meanwhile, the project teams have cashed out real money, gradually unlocking and distributing tokens over this long period.
long believed the prices would rebound to previous highs. I believe the gaming and NFT sectors in crypto are the least . Not to mention the games are extremely poor in quality.
At the same time, there are so many online games, mobile games, and AI games in the market. The key contradiction lies in the misalignment between market pricing and Federal Reserve expectations. Prediction markets show a 67% probability that BTC will fall below $80,000 within October, meaning the current crypto prices have not fully priced in the scenario of "core CPI exceeding expectations." BTC at $83,800, dare to chase it?
ETF lost $680 million in a week, tonight's CPI hangs overhead, price stuck right in the middle of the box—tonight, you either slap your thigh or get swept out.
First, look at the surface: sideways, low volume, bulls and bears both playing dead.
In 24 hours, it’s been grinding between 82,950 and 84,150, daily chart still in the 81,000 to 86,000 box. RSI 54 to 61, neutral with a slight bullish bias, ADX just above 10—no trend. Moving averages are stuck together, volume shrinks to a sleep-inducing level.
You might think: it’s been sideways so long, it should break out, right?
I tell you: this isn’t accumulation, it’s waiting for judgment. Tonight at 21:30, US September CPI is the trigger.
First thing: ETFs are bleeding, institutions are hesitant to buy.
From October 5 to 9, spot ETFs had a net outflow of about $680 million. October 7 saw a single-day outflow of $490 million, the worst day since June. October 9 only saw a $21 million inflow. Reports say on October 13 there was a net inflow of $176 million, but it hasn’t covered the previous week’s losses yet.
Citibank and others still call for a 12-month target of 113,000, reasoning that ETF demand will return. But this logic requires two consecutive weeks of net inflows to reprice; right now, it’s just stopped the bleeding.
In plain language:
Institutions are buying, but hesitantly. You’re not trading against a whale, you’re racing against a crowd of onlookers.
Second thing: the real BTC pricing factor now is macro, not on-chain.
In September, the Fed raised rates by 25 basis points, pushing rates to 3.75%-4.00%, the first hike in three years. The October 7 minutes showed most officials think another hike this year is "appropriate." For the October 28 FOMC, the market prices about 80% chance of no change, 15%-20% chance of another 25bp hike.
Tonight’s CPI market expectations: headline MoM +0.6%, YoY 3.6%; core MoM +0.2%, YoY 2.5%. Gasoline surged in September, so a bad headline is almost consensus. The market really trades the core.
Core 0.3%: October hike probability pushes toward 30%, BTC likely to drop first.
Core 0.2%: meets expectations, mostly range-bound.
Core 0.1%: discounts recent hike bets, rebound has continuity.
10-year US Treasury yield closed near 5.24% last week, dollar index at an 18-month high. Funds prefer cash and bonds.
You’re not trading BTC, you’re betting on CPI.
If your position is heavy, you’re using margin to guess a number you can’t possibly predict.
Third thing: the candlesticks tell you, 83,800 is the midpoint.
Daily: October 2 high was 87,100 to 87,200, October 5-6 still around 86,700 to 87,000. October 8 and 13 dipped twice to 80,300-81,100 then pulled back. Lows are rising, highs are falling. Today’s range is 82,950 to 84,150, with 83,800 right in the middle.
Key levels:
Resistance: 84,150 → 84,550 → 85,500 to 86,000 → 86,700 (the real gate for bulls)
Support: 82,950 → 82,200 to 82,600 → 81,000 to 81,100 (solid defense of two pin bars) → 79,900 → 76,500
Daily RSI 54 to 61, neutral with slight bullish bias. ADX just above 10, no trend. The 4-hour rebound from 81,000 to 83,800 is a correction, not a main rise. Without consecutive closes above 84,150, this is just a box rebound.
When there’s no trend, the biggest enemy for traders isn’t the market, it’s their itchy hands.
Bull vs. bear, judge for yourself:
On one side:
The big cycle isn’t broken, 90-day roughly +32%, mid-term still in an up channel
Perpetual positions 18 to 22 billion, down 2% in 24h, leverage retreating not increasing
Binance funding rate +0.001% to +0.002%/8h, bulls not crowded
October 13 ETF net inflow about $176 million, signs of stopping the bleeding
81,000 solid defense of two pin bars still intact
On the other side:
ETF lost $680 million in a week, institutions hesitant
September rate hike, minutes hawkish, December hike expectations rising
10-year Treasury at 5.24%, dollar at 18-month high, risk assets headwind
Daily highs falling, ADX just above 10, no trend
Tonight’s CPI, core 0.3% will crush, gap down will invalidate stop losses
Trading strategy
1. Now (83,800, before data):
No new directional orders.
If long, stop loss below 82,600. If short, stop loss above 84,550.
If neither side is in place, stay flat and watch the data.
2. Slightly bullish (main scenario, but wait for position):
Only go long in two cases:
Pullback to 82,200-82,600 with lower wick and close back, stop loss 81,800, first target 84,500, second target 85,500. If daily can’t close above 84,500, reduce position by half.
CPI is cooler (core ≤0.2%, and no broad surprise except oil), price stands above 84,550 and holds on pullback, then chase, target 86,000 to 86,700, stop loss below breakout candle low. No add until daily closes above 86,700.
3. Slightly bearish (data trade, not a bear market):
Rebound 84,500 to 85,500 with long upper wick and weak volume, short, stop loss 86,200, target 82,900/82,000.
Daily close below 82,000 is structural weakness, next support 81,000, then 79,900. Only if 81,000 also closes below, include 76,500 in plan. Before that, chasing shorts on breakouts risks being stopped out by the two lows at 81,000.
83,800 isn’t a start point, it’s the center of the table.
Tonight’s CPI won’t kill bulls or bears, it kills heavy positions.
Don’t ask if BTC will rise, ask if your position can survive tonight.
Big cycle intact, short cycle no trend—this is the most grinding market.
$BTC $ETH $ZEC #九月CPI今晚公布,美联储加息分歧待解 172 million USD, this is the net outflow of BTC contracts on the four-hour level. It's not the nice positive number from the 24-hour period, but the four-hour one. Have you ever wondered why the daily chart still shows inflows, yet the market feels increasingly heavy? Recently, I made a mistake when monitoring capital flows by only looking at the 24-hour net amount and assumed the bulls were still in control. Later, when I extended the period to a week, BTC had a net outflow of 3.313 billion, and at that moment I realized I had been looking at a polished facade. Shorter periods are more straightforward: 5 minutes saw an outflow of 8.07 million, 4 hours 1.72 million, 8 hours 1.58 million. The positive 55.51 million in 24 hours feels more like a sugar pill to soothe emotions. ETH is the same. 4-hour outflow of 99.32 million, 8-hour 127 million. That small inflow in 24 hours, I tend to treat as a bull trap rather than a sign of recovery. Mid-term funds have not chosen to return, which is more important than the price itself. SOL is a bit different. 4-hour outflow of 8.92 million, 8-hour 13.68 million, but 24-hour still shows an inflow of 20.12 million. The sellers' structure hasn't officially formed yet, so I am not taking action now, just observing. This ambiguous phase is the easiest to be driven by emotions, so I choose to hold back for now. ZEC is quieter. 8-hour outflow of 22.77 million, almost no movement in 24 hours, but a weekly net outflow of 299 million. Quiet doesn't mean safe, it just means the retreat hasn't been noticed yet. Putting these together, what the market is really trading is not "whether there is capital," but "who is leaving early." When the weekly net outflow and hourly-level outflows align in direction, a#闪迪美光下跌,长鑫技术进展受关注
📉 Why did SanDisk and Micron fall?
Triple pressure combined.
First, ChangXin's technological breakthrough triggered competition concerns. ChangXin announced a key advancement in the 4F² architecture and plans to launch server DDR5 RDIMM products by the end of 2026. The 4F² architecture can reduce the area of a single memory cell by about one-third, theoretically lowering costs. If ChangXin delivers by the end of the year, it could be about two years ahead of Samsung and SK Hynix in architecture. The market worries that the international giants' model of "controlling production to maintain prices" and high profits will be weakened, choosing to realize future price-cutting risks early.
Second, the buyback support in the Korean market disappeared. Samsung and SK Hynix's combined buyback plan of about $40 billion ended several weeks early. Since the buyback ended, the KOSPI has dropped about 8% over three trading days. The catch-up drop after the Korean holiday combined with continuous net selling by foreign investors caused SK Hynix to plunge over 10% in a single day, directly dragging down sentiment in the global memory sector.
Third, AI trading logic is changing. The market is shifting from "chasing AI growth" to "examining capital returns." With rising interest rates and increasing AI financing costs, whether massive capital expenditures can deliver actual returns is being scrutinized more strictly. Firmus, a data center operator holding Nvidia shares, shelved a $5 billion IPO, further intensifying market concerns about risks in AI infrastructure projects.
$SNDK #BTC spot ETF sees net outflow again, can institutional buying recover? $BTC
The same "outflow," but the patterns differ this time.
▪️ On 10/12, a single-day net outflow of $65.401 million, all from BlackRock IBIT
▪️ From 10/5 to 10/9, a weekly net outflow of about $679 million, the highest since June, nearly 8,000 units
▪️ Among them, on 10/7, a single-day outflow of 5,670 units, $484.9 million, the largest since 6/25
▪️ Ethereum ETFs have had net outflows for 10 consecutive trading days, with a single-day outflow of $85.3954 million on 10/12
▪️ On 9/21–22, there was a combined inflow of $1.7 billion over two days
▪️ The previous round was a large amount concentrated over two days; this round is small amounts over ten consecutive days
The divergence is not about whether there is an outflow, but that the "again" in "net outflow again" reflects two different outflow patterns.
The first round was a large amount concentrated in a single day; this round is small amounts over ten consecutive days. The counterparties for concentrated outflows are fast money, while continuous small amounts are closer to allocation portfolios reducing positions. ETF holders are not all long-term institutions; interpreting continuous outflows directly as a collective institutional withdrawal would exceed what the data can explain.
The direction suggests a wait-and-see approach — a single day turning positive and sustaining for three consecutive days would count as a recovery; maintaining small net outflows means demand remains weak.ETH at this position must be discussed in terms of the whale cost. The whale sold 1,074 BTC in three days to buy 35,346 ETH, with an average price of 2529, current price 2515, which means it is rubbing against the lower edge of the main force's chip area. In the past 24 hours, ETH liquidations reached 356 million, more than BTC, indicating that high-leverage positions have just been cleared, reducing floating chips.
I tend to go long on a pullback for this trade. I just finished delivering food in an old six-story residential area, and my phone kept vibrating with order reminders. While waiting for the elevator, I glanced at the market. The logic is solid: the whale is accumulating near 2529 and won't easily let the price drop deeply to embarrass itself. The 2500 to 2480 range is a short-term buy vacuum zone; if it drops there, there will be support.
Entry range is 2485 to 2510, and at the current price, you can aggressively enter with one-third of your position. Take profit at 2600, and if broken, look at 2680. Set stop loss at 2440; if it breaks below, it means the whale is actively buying to cut losses, so don't follow.
If even 2440 can't hold, I'll have to run twenty more orders tomorrow to top up margin.

@OKX星球 $OP surged 22.08% in a single day, approaching the 90-day high of 0.16075, but the on-chain TVL of 444M USD has actually shrunk by 10.3% over the past 7 days. The price is diverging from real demand; the driving force behind this rally is not the on-chain ecosystem but market positioning.
The current funding rate remains at -0.0238%, with trading volume expanding to 2.6 times the 20-day average. Short positions have become the fuel for this upward movement. On-chain usage has not followed suit; this rebound is driven by contract leverage and short squeezes, not genuine demand.
The OP long position I hold was newly opened today, with a stop loss moved up to 0.15405. If triggered, it won't result in a loss; if not, I will hold, and if it hits, I will exit.
Structurally, if the daily candle closes above 0.16075, it means breaking out of the 90-day range, and the short squeeze momentum may continue. If it is resisted and falls below the 4H EMA20 at 0.140581, lacking leverage support, it is likely to retest the daily EMA50 at 0.120742.
TVL is still bleeding; the next observation point is whether the price can hold after the funding rate turns positive: Is 0.16075 the end of the short squeeze, or will distribution begin after the funding is consumed?

First, let's talk about market capitalization. The 63.83 billion USD on the market page is the circulating supply price, while the fully diluted market cap of the coin is 68.87 billion. The difference of 5 billion comes from the 46.58 million tokens not yet in circulation. Both numbers are correct but have different meanings. When you see the term market cap, first clarify which one it refers to before discussing which is higher or lower.
Next, the number of transactions on-chain. The API reports 280,000 transactions per minute, which breaks down to 4,700 transactions per second. However, two-thirds of this number comes from validators' votes, which are sent by validators to confirm blocks, not actual token transfers. Removing those leaves 1,600 transactions per second.
4,700 transactions and 1,600 transactions give two very different impressions. The judgment of how busy this chain is depends on this distinction. The writer may not intend it, but readers can easily be misled.
Also, timing matters. On-chain data is real-time, while market data has delays. The supply increases daily, so when citing data, the time of data retrieval must be included. If two numbers in the same article come from different days, readers cannot tell.
None of these numbers are false; problems arise only when they are mixed. Using one standard for market cap and another for transaction volume makes the ratio meaningless.
When checking yourself, remember the standard used. Numbers change daily, but the standard is less likely to change. Is it really reasonable to panic sell just because revenue slightly missed expectations?
To be honest, being bearish just based on a slight dip in revenue somewhat underestimates ASML's earnings report.
$ASML posted a net profit of 4.96 billion euros this quarter, with a gross margin climbing to 57.5%, both significantly surpassing expectations. Moreover, the company has raised its full-year outlook for three consecutive quarters and has once again boosted its Q4 revenue and gross margin guidance, far exceeding market expectations. This proves that its pricing power and profitability remain dominant.
The AI boom is pushing orders further into the future; the planned 30% capacity expansion for 2027 and 2028 is still insufficient, and some customers have even pre-ordered equipment for 2029 and 2030. This multi-year ultra-strong order lock-in capability is unique in the entire semiconductor supply chain.
In the short term, the market may experience some emotional shakeout, but in the medium to long term, extremely high gross margins, strong guidance, and a 4.1 billion euro share buyback make the stock's base extremely solid.
For the semiconductor sector, including $NVDA, $TSM, and $MU, ASML's multi-year order backlog is the most hardcore endorsement of the AI upcycle; a sell-off is actually a good opportunity for long-term capital to enter.

#九月CPI今晚公布,美联储加息分歧待解 44% of people think the market will rise when the CPI is released.
My first reaction when I saw this number was admiration.
Not admiration for their accuracy, but admiration for the courage to bet in advance.
Let me briefly explain this.
22V asked its own clients, and nearly half expect Wednesday's CPI to boost risk appetite.
Another one-third think there will be no reaction or don't understand it.
So the question is, is this data good news or bad news?
My answer is, no one really knows now.
But the market has already started to think positively.
This is what I find most worth pondering.
Not the data itself, but that everyone has already maxed out their expectations in advance.
If the actual data meets expectations, it might just be so-so.
If it comes out worse than expected, it’s easier to get slapped in the face.
So what we should really watch now is not the CPI number, but where the money flows after the data is released.
Talking bullish doesn’t count, positions do.
Do you think this 44% is smart money, or just another wave of collective hype? #九月CPI今晚公布,美联储加息分歧待解 $ETH The big event is coming, everyone! The decisive battle between bulls and bears is tonight. It's been talked about to death, but at 20:30 tonight, the US CPI data will be released, marking a very important turning point. I'll share my personal prediction first: the CPI data will likely be within expectations or possibly below expectations. Market expectations and the Cleveland Fed's forecast both point to a divergence between the broad CPI and core CPI. Looking at the specific data, the Cleveland Fed's real-time forecast for the broad CPI month-over-month and core CPI year-over-year is even lower than market expectations. Employment and consumer confidence have already shown signs of weakening. September's nonfarm payrolls increased by only 29,000, and the preliminary consumer confidence index for October dropped to 46.3, but consumers' inflation expectations for the next year rose to 4.7%. Hiring has slowed, people are more pessimistic about the economy, and concerns about continued price increases have intensified. Rising energy prices squeeze purchasing power, and further rate hikes could further suppress employment—this is the difficult spot for the Federal Reserve. I personally lean toward the core CPI being around 0.2%, and the mainstream expectation is a pause in rate hikes in October. If the core unexpectedly jumps to 0.3%, the dollar and US Treasury yields will also rise, and I would turn bearish; if the core is below expectations and yields fall back, the rebound will have more support. I only know that tonight will most likely be a turning point that sets the direction. During volatile periods and in front of key data, the market will definitely be influenced by news—this is indisputable. So everyone should either stay out of the market or choose a direction with stop-losses. As for whether there will be a rate hike in December, that depends on what happens next. $BTC $ETH Why is it so difficult for stablecoin credit cards to replace Visa? First, let's look at where the fees actually go.
Assuming a $100 credit card purchase, the merchant bears a fee of about $2.2.
Of that, about $1.75 comes from the issuing bank's interchange fee, accounting for 70%–80% of the total cost; Visa or Mastercard's assessment fee is about $0.13–0.18, only 7%–9%.
This raises a question: if crypto cards simply bypass card networks, the actual savings might not be as much as imagined.
Issuing banks bear costs such as credit, bad debt, and capital occupation. Card networks like Visa mainly provide payment network and information transmission services. Even if stablecoins are used for settlement, as long as issuing, merchant acceptance, and related risk control still rely on traditional networks, these costs will not automatically disappear.
Statistics show that in July, crypto credit card spending exceeded $759 million, with about 9 million transactions, over 90% of which were still completed through the Visa network.
This indicates that the growth of crypto cards and the replacement of traditional payment networks are two different matters.
When evaluating a stablecoin payment project, you can't just listen to the story of "bypassing middlemen"; you need to break down the fee structure: which fee is it saving? Who bears the original credit and risk costs? What traditional infrastructure does the transaction still rely on?
What truly determines how much payment costs can be reduced is not what the settlement asset is changed to, but how much the entire payment chain has actually changed.OP current price is 0.1518, with dense short positions liquidation stacked between 0.154 and 0.156 above, showing very obvious signs of the main force inducing longs to accumulate. High volume but stagnant price, ATR volatility narrowing, bullish momentum has already exhausted. Most likely to pull back downward to fill the 0.618 liquidity gap at 0.1466, first sweeping out the long stop-loss pool below before considering a rebound.
Just finished patrolling the building and returned to the pavilion, refilled the thermos with hot water.
Short-term strategy is very clear, mainly high sell. You can directly short near the current price of 0.1518, with a stop loss above 0.1565, don’t be greedy. First take profit at 0.1472, second take profit at 0.1466, if broken then look at 0.144. Beware that the main force might first pump to 0.156 to induce longs before dumping, leverage must be tightly controlled, position size should not exceed 20%.
Don’t rush to take long positions now, wait for a pullback near 0.1466 and observe volume before deciding. Without a clean washout at this level, any rebound is fake.

@OKX星球 I think Binance clearing EPIC and QUICK should not be taken as a bottom-fishing signal. The contract settles on the 20th, while the spot market will be delisted on the 28th; the spot price is about 83712 USD (Beijing 16:25, Coinbase).Currently, the top gainer is $TRUTH, purely treating retail investors like chives to be cut.
The price is pumped just to dump; chasing the rise and selling at the dip is a bit difficult with this coin, and the outcome might be getting trapped. This coin, like $WAL, is also on the SUI chain, likely pumped based on the news that the Sui Foundation invested $30 million in DATANetwork.
On the first of next month, a large amount of tokens will be unlocked, and the project team can conveniently use this news to pump the price and sell their chips in advance.
The holding volume and trading volume are gradually picking up, but the manipulation tactics are still somewhat shocking. Both longs and shorts are hard to play; consider setting up short positions near the previous highs.

#九月CPI今晚公布,美联储加息分歧待解 CPI is coming tonight, and crude oil has risen like this. Aren't you afraid of a crash?
Brent is already at $106, how many people are still ready to keep going long?
I think crude oil is quite risky now. The war impact is indeed significant, but oil prices can't keep rising just because of that, right? The higher the price, the greater the pressure on the economy. The market is all focused on inflation now, but I think we need to be cautious about potential demand issues later.
Look at US Treasuries, the 10-year yield is already near 5.2%. If tonight's CPI exceeds expectations again, I guess many will start calling for the Fed not to cut rates.
But I'm curious, with inflation this high, what if US Treasury yields can't rise further?
That would be interesting.
I don't plan to chase BTC tonight. This kind of data-driven market is prone to whipsaws, especially when everyone is focused on the same direction.
Personally, I feel crude oil has reached a point where caution is needed, while US Treasuries might be worth watching more closely.
Tonight, it's all about two things: whether crude oil can keep surging, and whether US Treasury yields will spike then fall back.
If neither moves, the upcoming market situation might not be so simple.
#CPI #原油 #美债 #BTCCORE, can you still stand up? How many people are still holding?
Open the square, the screen is full of "cut losses," "goodbye," "accept losses and exit."
Someone asked: Can Core still stand up? How many people are still holding?
I won’t sugarcoat it; today I’ll use data to reveal the answer to "how many people are still holding."
First, the most painful fact: only 2,300 active addresses move daily.
Latest data from DefiLlama: CORE chain has about 2,300 active addresses in 24 hours, 140 new addresses, and only 37,000 transactions in 24 hours. The total locked value in on-chain DeFi is less than $5 million, and the daily DEX trading volume is negligible.
Some in the community have dug into the "60 million wallet addresses"—many are leftover addresses from when the project team issued tokens on the Core chain. The actual number of active holders is probably in the hundred-thousands range. The top 100 addresses hold about 90% of the tokens.
This is the truth about "how many people are still holding": not many.
But staking data tells a different story.
In 2024, about 150 million CORE were staked. By 2026, this number rose to 323 million. With a circulating supply of about 1 billion, nearly one-third is locked in staking contracts, not participating in daily sell-offs.
2,472 BTC are locked in Core’s non-custodial staking. These people aren’t here to gamble on weekly price swings; they focus on annualized yields and dual staking reward tiers.
The chain is alive. Blocks are produced, rewards are issued. Within 48 hours after the hard fork on September 3, staking rewards returned to normal, daily trading volume surged over 170%, and more than 150 million excess CORE were burned.
So, who is leaving and who is staying?
Those leaving are short-term traders worn down by sideways trading and leveraged players whose mindset was broken by the drop from 0.8 to 0.02. Their exit has nothing to do with the intrinsic value of the Core project itself.
Those staying fall into two categories: one is the "nail houses" trapped too deeply to bother cutting losses; the other is those truly calculating—staking yields, buyback narratives, and the long-term BTCFi sector.
So, can CORE still stand up?
I won’t lie to you; CORE is stuck in a very uncomfortable position right now.
The hard fork stopped the bleeding: 150 million tokens burned, staking restored, chain intact. But 69 million ghost tokens still float outside. The hard fork can only upgrade forward and cannot roll back already transferred transactions. The team has yet to provide an on-chain verifiable solution.
More critically, SatPay has been delayed. This highly anticipated new Bitcoin bank faces licensing and regulatory issues, with no launch date set and over 20,000 users waiting in line. The entire "revenue era" logic of Core in 2026—relying on ecosystem income to buy back CORE—depends heavily on SatPay generating real cash flow. Without the product launch, buybacks remain a distant vision.
A project not dead yet, but without a closed commercial loop.
But the trump card is clear: Core still has the largest TVL among Bitcoin sidechains, over $314 million, with more than 5,500 BTC staked, accounting for about 26% of all Bitcoin sidechain TVL. Over 76% of Bitcoin’s hash power participates in network security. Custodians like BitGo and Copper run nodes.
Projects that can stand up don’t rely on daily percentage gains but on real on-chain data accumulated steadily.
Are you still here? Honestly. If you’ve left, I don’t blame you. If you’re still here, let’s watch the data, not the emotions.
$CORE 🚨CPI Showdown! Get your bullets ready!
Tonight, the key for CPI's impact on Bitcoin lies in the core month-over-month figure, not the overall year-over-year.
Three scenarios:
• Core MoM 0.2% meets expectations: rate hike expectations remain unchanged, BTC bearish pressure fully released and stabilizes, watch for support above 80,000.
• Core MoM ≥0.3%: market reignites rate hike fears, US Treasury yields and the dollar strengthen, BTC under pressure and falls — rising real rates reduce the appeal of zero-coupon assets, leveraged positions get liquidated first.
• Core MoM ≤0.1%: tightening expectations fade, dollar weakens, BTC shows strongest rebound resilience.
Core logic:
The current market trades liquidity constraints rather than "inflation hedging." Oil-driven CPI increases only make the Fed more inclined to maintain high rates. As long as 10-year Treasury yields and the dollar strengthen together, BTC struggles to rise independently.
Short-term reminder:
False breakouts often occur in the first few minutes after data release. Pricing of core components (OER, services, used cars) usually lags the overall reading. Wait for 5 minutes of structural confirmation before acting; this is safer than rushing for second-by-second moves.
Core cool → slightly bullish, core hot → initial drop then watch if Treasuries follow up.
Don't mistake gasoline-driven overall jumps as BTC bullish.
