#NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins Netflix reports Q3 after the close on Oct 20. Guidance calls for ~$12.86B in revenue, up ~12% YoY, so the bar is already set. The real swing factors are ad-tier adoption, inventory fill rate, and CPM trends. If ads scale while margins hold, the growth narrative stays intact. Watching operating margin and Q4 guidance closely$The curve on the monitor is not resuscitation; it's ventricular fibrillation — and this time, standing at the lead surgeon's position are four century-old banks.
Standard Chartered has directly sewn the trading channels for Bitcoin and Ethereum into existing bank accounts, exclusively for qualified professional investors in the UAE; RLUSD custody acts as the extracorporeal circulation; BNY is expanding digital asset custody in the EU; Citibank has extended the catheter for tokenized deposits all the way to Japan and the UAE; Wells Fargo is building its own stablecoin solution. This is not retail investors' palpitations; this is the entire settlement system's perfusion pressure having been chronically low, and finally someone has decided to open the chest.
I never watch the price; I watch the hemodynamics. A price crash is just a symptom, like a drop in skin temperature or peripheral cyanosis. The real lesion lies in the myocardium itself — incremental capital can't flow in, secondary market depth is insufficient to withstand large withdrawals, and collateral valuations can collapse within ten minutes like hypovolemic shock in extreme market conditions. In recent years, institutions wanting to enter had to bypass a bunch of non-standard paths: custody at A, trading at B, settlement at C, compliance at D. Each handoff is a tiny microthrombus, accumulating into chronic ischemia.
What these four are doing now is coronary artery bypass grafting. They are connecting the aorta of fiat currency directly to the capillary bed on-chain. Standard Chartered's step is the most critical: it uses existing bank accounts rather than building new channels — equivalent to using autologous vessels for the graft, minimizing rejection.
But the donor heart will never spontaneously restart. Three complications must be closely monitored: first, compliance perfusion — regulatory flow and pressure vary by region; the UAE is open, but clamps could be applied elsewhere at any time; second, collateral circulation — RLUSD is being explored as collateral, meaning the same myocardium must work simultaneously in multiple ventricles, and a run would cause cardiac tamponade; third, liquidity thrombosis — when institutions enter, the channel is wide, but if only a narrow slit remains on exit, that is acute valvular stenosis.
Tokenized US stocks and similar assets are the small vessels newly sewn on. The anastomosis is most prone to thrombosis early on: thin order books, narrow cross-market arbitrage paths, a single large order can trigger ventricular premature beats and instant price instability. Its current beating does not represent an autonomous rhythm but mostly passive conduction following the perfusion pressure of the mother heart.
Whether institutional funds can continue to flow in is not judged by press conference rhetoric but by urine output in the first 24 hours post-operation. The only real indicator is this: within on-chain settlement volume, how much is natural pulsation occurring between bank accounts, rather than a temporary one-time bridge built just for show.
The clamp has been released, perfusion established. Next, this heart must beat on its own — if it can't, no matter how many bridges there are, it is just a specimen on the dissection table. #stanchartbtcethtradingYesterday's PPI release triggered a "fake drop" in BTC: it sharply tested the critical 79800 lifeline before quickly recovering, returning to a high-level consolidation above 82000.
US September PPI rose 1.3% month-over-month and 6.3% year-over-year, with core PPI up 5.0% year-over-year, significantly exceeding expectations. The prior day's CPI also exceeded expectations, which should have caused a second hawkish shock.
1. Most inflation negatives have already been priced in by CPI, so the PPI release was just a concentrated panic sell-off, used to clear stop-loss orders below.
2. The increase was mainly driven by energy, seen by the market as a short-term pulse rather than a full-chain malignant inflation; the Federal Reserve is unlikely to raise rates immediately because of this.
3. US Treasuries and the dollar spiked then retreated; the market shifted to worry that high interest rates will drag on the economy, so rate hike expectations did not continue to heat up, and shorts quickly covered.
4. The 79800 level precisely tested the 80000 lifeline; short stop-losses, forced liquidations, and spot buying combined to push prices back up.
Additionally, Standard Chartered opened BTC and ETH trading, with banks continuing to expand crypto business.
Current market status: this is a consolidation recovery after a negative shock, not the start of a new bullish trend. Inflation risks remain, with intense long-short battles and continued spike-and-dip moves; ETH shows greater elasticity and volatility far exceeding BTC.
PPI is indeed hawkish, but the market used it to complete a deep shakeout. Holding the 80000 lifeline maintains high-level consolidation; if macro conditions turn hawkish again, this defense line remains the dividing line between bulls and bears. 📊 Ba yếu tố then chốt mà tôi đang theo dõi: 🔹 1. Last night, 930 million was liquidated, and the shift in capital style is very clear: money retreating from meme coins is flowing back into blue chips and key support levels. NEAR, FIL, and SUI all formed deep V patterns with support below, but among the three, I only bought SUI.
$NEAR: The most elastic but also the most fragile. +109% in 30 days, +178% in September alone, but no clear trigger; the rise was driven by AI tags and short covering. It dropped 10.1% last night. Grayscale's AI fund included it, but it's private placement, so no short-term buying pressure.
$FIL: Supply has truly been cut. Six years of unlocking ended, annual new supply cut to 22 million tokens (-75%), mainnet on 10/13 PDP, and Solstice upgrade on 10/19. But market cap is only 900 million, and on-chain open interest is just 20 million USD. Supply is a hard constraint; demand remains uncertain.
$SUI: The only one I hold. The $1 level has been repeatedly tested; last night it dipped to 0.9966 but recovered. The ecosystem is genuinely spending money; the foundation invested 30 million in DATA Network. I didn’t buy the other two not because I dislike them, but because the math doesn’t add up.
In the coming week, the main theme is "the sustainability of the oversold rebound." Only those with real buying pressure will go far.
This is just my personal observation and does not constitute investment advice. $NEAR $FIL $SUIThe market originally expected Bitcoin to rise and altcoins to recover in October, but the actual trend did not meet these expectations.
Bitcoin fluctuated repeatedly around $80,000, altcoins were generally under pressure, and market confidence in the sustainability of the bull market also cooled.
A disappointing performance in October does not mean the market is completely over. The more direct issue is that the market previously treated the seasonal narrative as a certain outcome. #奈飞增长或放缓,广告业务成新看点 Harder-to-sustain growth, advertising business is just a desperate measure🚨🚨🚨最近三次的美国中期选举结束后,比特币价格走势 2014年,选后71天见底,跌幅-46.7%。 $BTC $ETH $ZEC The blueprint was just laid out on the table when the client withdrew the signing pen—VanEck applied to regulators on October 14 to withdraw the registration documents for the Lido staked Ethereum ETF. This is not a demolition blast; it’s a voluntary withdrawal of the construction permit before even pouring the foundation. No equity was issued or sold, the entire building hasn’t even started presale, and the planning permit is void.
I’ve been designing for thirty years, and what I fear most is not the rejection of blueprints, but this kind of silent project withdrawal. They don’t tell you why—structural failure? Miscalculated wind load? Or is the floor area ratio of the land simply insufficient to support such a tower? VanEck’s statement of "not proceeding" is equivalent to locking all the geological survey reports in a drawer. In construction, a client pulling out is often not because the design is ugly, but because the numbers don’t add up—the pile foundation of a staked Ethereum ETF faces too complex a rock layer: custody structure, slashing risk for validators, liquidity mismatches; each layer is a load-bearing issue.
Looking at the traffic data from the neighboring site: on October 13 there was net inflow, on the 14th about $130 million was withdrawn, and on the 15th another $18.3 million was pulled out. This is not construction; it’s people coming and going. The tower crane was just erected, and the workers left immediately. But let me say something from an insider’s perspective—this withdrawal document only represents the failure of VanEck’s single building permit application; it does not set the planning tone for the entire staked Ethereum ETF district. A single project’s failure does not equal a change in the overall regulatory plan; the regulator’s direction has not shifted.
What truly determines whether a building can stand is always the underlying architecture. The whitepaper is a rendering, the roadshow is a sandbox model, and no matter how fancy the promo video is, it can’t withstand an earthquake. Where are the load-bearing walls? The distribution of validator nodes, slashing insurance mechanisms, and liquidity redundancy in redemption channels—these are the reinforcement diagrams. VanEck withdrew the permit application, but what it exposed is a structural problem: the foundation between staking yields and regulatory certainty is not yet solidified; whoever starts construction first bears the risk of settlement.
As for the linked assets on the US stock side, I see them as supporting commercial complexes on the same plot. Once the main tower’s planning permit is withdrawn, the leasing expectations for the podium immediately come under pressure. The flow of funds is not about sentiment; it’s geological survey data—it tells you whether there are underground rivers beneath this land.
When I review blueprints, I only look at three things: whether the foundation is in place, whether the loads are transmitted properly, and whether the nodes are reliable. On the staked ETF line, they are still conducting static load tests on the pile foundation; they haven’t even reached the stage of pouring a single floor slab. Whoever can first build the load-bearing structure is the only one qualified to talk about topping out.
As for those rushing to install glass curtain walls, I never look at renderings; I only wait for the structural acceptance report. #vaneckdropslidoetfTSMC delivered a contradictory Q3 report of "explosive profits, stock price plunge." Revenue reached NT$1.49 trillion, net profit NT$763.1 billion, both exceeding expectations. The strong demand for AI chips is undeniable—2nm already accounts for 8% of wafer revenue, and advanced processes approach 80%, keeping the foundation of computing power infrastructure solid.
However, the market voted with its feet, dropping 2.67%. The problem lies not in the past but in the future: the gross margin guidance of 65%-67% is lower than Q2's actual 67.7%. This means the stronger the AI chip demand, the more pronounced the cost absorption effect of advanced processes. If capital expenditure is further increased, the profit margin's potential will be further compressed. The semiconductor chain's valuation needs to be re-anchored.
For $BTC, this transmission is not direct but aligns with the underlying logic. TSMC's revenue validates the reality of the AI computing economy, and BTC, as the foundational anchor of the computing power era, maintains its long-term narrative. But the weaker gross margin guidance signals that the cost of "burning money for growth" is rising, and the denominator for risk asset valuation is increasing. In the short term, BTC remains suppressed by CPI exceeding expectations, with TSMC being a secondary variable.
In terms of operations, don't chase tech stocks just because profits exceed expectations. First, watch the yield on U.S. Treasury bonds and the dollar's performance before deciding whether to reach out.

The total loss has expanded to $36,445,900, with the total account assets down to only $1,035,300, perpetual positions valued at $14,891,900, and leverage as high as 28.68x.
Currently, Maji holds 6,100 $ETH, fully long at 25x leverage, with an entry price of $2,398.52 and unrealized profit of $260,900. But the most dangerous thing is not how much unrealized profit there is, but that the available margin has already dropped to zero, leaving almost no buffer.
What’s even more alarming is that the liquidation price shown on the panel is $2,404.27, which is even higher than the entry price. This data contradicts the usual liquidation logic for long positions and may involve account margin or data display issues, so it cannot be directly used to judge the actual liquidation distance.
My view: Maji is not fighting to make a profit now, but to see if he can withstand the volatility. Whether a whale or a veteran, full position with high leverage facing intense market moves can still get taught a lesson by the market. Unrealized profit does not equal realized gains; staying alive at the table is what allows for the next round. #TeslaQ3ProfitAndMargins Radiosonde data shows that the high-altitude trough-ridge in September is unusually exhibiting a double surprise— the Producer Price Index (PPI) year-on-year surged to 6.3%, a full 100 basis points above the forecast; month-on-month at 1.3%, crushing the 0.5% forecast to the ground. The core indicator also blew past expectations. This is not an ordinary airflow disturbance; it is a complex weather event driven simultaneously by the equatorial convergence zone and the subtropical high pressure.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) year-on-year growth of 3.7% resembles a tropical storm suddenly intensifying over the sea surface. All ensemble forecast models are revising the later path upward—the eye of the Federal Funds Rate typhoon may make landfall again. But the trouble is, the models diverge greatly. Governor Daly said, "An upgrade may be needed, but not urgently," which in forecast terms means: the ensemble median points to strengthening, but the outer spiral rainbands have not yet closed, and the eyewall replacement is incomplete. Goolsbee is requesting more radiosonde data, which means: wait for two more data cycles before deciding whether to issue a warning.
At 23:30 on October 15, Walsh appeared at the annual meeting with the head of the International Monetary Fund. This period is at the tail end of the Atlantic hurricane season’s active window, and the market is like coastal residents watching radar echoes—every geopotential height number he utters instantly changes the distribution of wind shear fields.
Now looking at the $XCH sea area. It is experiencing the overall pressure gradient tug of the US stock Token targets. The Producer Price Index exceeding expectations is equivalent to dropping a warm disturbance into the ocean surface; the rising Consumer Price Index adds an upstream jet. The combination of these two forces should trigger an uplift motion, but XCH’s radar echoes show—weak intensity, loose structure, and slow central pressure drop. This indicates the market remains in a "wait-and-see" attitude toward Federal Reserve officials’ wording, without forming a consensus inflow acceleration.
The Fear and Greed Index is like coastal visibility, currently suppressed to moderate-low by inflation haze. Every action plan in the strategy manual must first pass the boundary condition test of this weather briefing. On-chain yield pressure is like wind shear at the bottom of a high-altitude jet stream, quietly slicing the vertical structure of the bullish cyclone.
For XCH’s short-term path, my judgment is: the eastward movement of the low-pressure trough is slow, and the outer rainbands may form a short-lived strong convection after the US stock market opens, but whether it develops into a sustained updraft depends on whether Walsh’s speech releases a clear signal of "eyewall replacement completion." Before that, any thunderstorm cell at any position may suddenly trigger downdrafts.
Now all numerical forecast error circles are converging, but the convergence directions are inconsistent—this is the most dangerous weather forecast scenario. #USCPIAndPPITopForecasts #NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins What impact does Australia's proposed crypto reporting bill have on the crypto space?
Australia has released a legislative draft proposing to incorporate the OECD Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) into domestic law and establish a local crypto transaction reporting system, with public consultation open until October 28. Platforms will be required to report transaction data of Australian residents, and international information exchange is expected to start in 2028.
Why the impact is limited:
- It is currently only a draft proposal, which still needs to go through public consultation, legislative approval, and detailed rulemaking, with actual implementation unlikely before 2027.
- The core focus is on tax transparency and cross-border information exchange, targeting compliant users and platforms, not banning transactions or restricting holdings.
- Similar to tax information sharing initiatives being advanced globally, it has minimal impact on daily crypto trading and prices, mainly increasing compliance costs.
Key observations:
- The market has shown almost no short-term reaction; capital is more focused on macro factors and risk appetite.
- In the long term, increased global tax transparency may drive some users toward more privacy-focused tools or on-chain methods, but compliance pressure on mainstream platforms will increase.
- The real price drivers remain interest rates, ETF capital, and the macro environment, rather than such distant regulatory drafts.
Conclusion: Australia's crypto reporting bill is currently only a proposal with a long implementation timeline, having limited actual impact on the crypto market. It can be ignored in the short term and is part of a global tax compliance trend in the long term, with little effect on Bitcoin and major altcoin prices.

We'll find out this week.
BTC recently dipped near 80,000, with a market dominance still around 60%. Funds haven't fled massively; instead, they are concentrating into Bitcoin. There have been three retests of 81,000, with selling pressure decreasing; Bitfinex shows whales have increased holdings by about 60,000 BTC since late August, with a cost zone between 80,000–86,000, representing the strongest support above 80,000. However, ETFs had a single-day net outflow of 3,209 BTC, about $258 million, indicating clear capital divergence.
ETH is weaker, dropping near 2,400, with continuous ETF outflows. The 2,650 level has flipped from support to resistance. In the short term, ETH lacks its own narrative and can only follow BTC.
Macro pressure remains: CPI and PPI have consecutively exceeded expectations, rate hike expectations are heating up, and risk assets are being suppressed.
My view: If 80,000 holds, it’s a resonant bottom supported by whales and ETF cost zones; if it breaks, look down to 78,000. ETH will follow BTC’s lead. $BTC $ETH

The numbers are indeed impressive, but don’t rush to treat it as the next money printing machine. A large part of its income comes from LP balances left after traders’ losses, as well as fees related to closing and liquidation. In other words, this money is not earned by selling stablecoins or collecting payment fees, but from traders battling each other on the platform, with the platform taking a cut according to the rules.
LP balances exceeding the $5 million cap are allocated to $PAPER stakers, and the platform also shares part of the fees with stakers. Losers contribute funds, winners take profits, stakers receive dividends, and the platform takes a cut—this mechanism is indeed quite exciting.
However, what needs attention is whether this income can be sustained. The more traders lose, the better the protocol’s income; but if the hype fades and trading volume declines, today’s miracle could quickly cool down.

#sol$BTC Why does the central bank maintain low interest rates while the RMB keeps appreciating? First, let's break a common misconception: "Low interest rates = local currency depreciation" is only half the textbook story. In reality, exchange rates are influenced not just by interest rates but by foreign exchange market supply and demand + the dollar cycle + expectation management. This round of RMB appreciation precisely shows that the "low interest rate pressure" is overshadowed by other forces.
1. What does "central bank maintaining low interest rates" actually mean?
It’s not "continuous rate cuts and easing," but a steady low interest rate environment with no changes:
- Since May 2025, the 7-day reverse repo rate has stayed at 1.40%
- The 1-year LPR is 3.0%, and the 5-year-plus LPR is 3.5%, unchanged for 13–14 months
- The central bank calls this "moderate easing," but with a cautious pace balancing interest margins, exchange rates, and external constraints
Why not cut rates casually? Three constraints:
1. Bank interest margins have hit a historic low of 1.40%; further LPR cuts would be unbearable for banks
2. The China-US interest rate spread is inverted by over 300 basis points; further cuts would widen the inversion, worsening capital outflows and exchange rate pressure
3. GDP grew 4.7% year-on-year in the first half, exports remain strong, so no urgent need for rate cuts
So "low interest rates" themselves exert depreciation pressure on the RMB, but it’s only one factor, not the whole picture.
2. Exchange rates are truly driven by "foreign exchange supply and demand," not just interest rates
The central bank has stated:
Exchange rates are influenced by multiple factors including economic growth, monetary policy, financial markets, and geopolitics; there is no linear relationship between the current account and exchange rates.
Breaking it down into two accounts (per Zhang Ming’s framework from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences):
- Current account: large trade surplus → companies hold more dollars → convert dollars to RMB → RMB buying pressure
- Financial account: China-US interest rate inversion → some capital outflows → RMB selling pressure
The issue this round is: current account conversion power > financial account outflow power.
In 2025, the goods trade surplus was nearly $1.2 trillion, current account surplus over $700 billion; the financial account deficit was offset by the flood of conversions.
The conversion tide is key
From April to August 2026, banks had consecutive net foreign exchange sales surpluses:
- April: 40.08 billion
- June: 56.66 billion
- August: 48.48 billion
In the first 8 months, banks’ client foreign exchange sales surplus was about $397.6 billion, the highest for the same period since 2005.
Why are companies concentrating on conversions?
- RMB is appreciating → holding dollars risks losses
- Previously accumulated "to be converted" dollar positions are being released
- This forms a "appreciation → conversion → further appreciation" feedback loop
3. External variable: the dollar itself weakened
Interest rate parity theory says "high US rates → strong dollar → RMB depreciation," but this round the dollar index did not strengthen in sync with US Treasury yields.
- The dollar index fell about 9.4% in 2025
- RMB still appreciated against the dollar in 2026
- Reasons: US fiscal sustainability concerns, yen intervention, reduced safe-haven demand
CITIC Securities also pointed out: the main external driver of this RMB appreciation round is dollar weakness, not just trade surplus.
In other words:
Even if China’s rates are low, as long as the dollar is weaker + RMB assets are not being heavily sold off, RMB can appreciate against the dollar.
4. Why didn’t "low interest rates" suppress the exchange rate this time?
Ranking the forces:
Factor Direction for RMB This round’s weight
Domestic low rates / inverted interest spread Depreciation pressure Medium
Dollar index weakening Appreciation High
Trade surplus + export resilience Appreciation High
Corporate conversion release Appreciation High
Financial account outflows Depreciation pressure Offset
Central bank expectation management (no chasing one-way appreciation) Smoothing volatility Medium
Depreciation factors exist, but appreciation factors outweigh them in magnitude.
Zhao Wei’s explanation is accurate:
High interest rates don’t necessarily mean a strong dollar; they may just reflect higher risk compensation; stock hedging replaces flow carry trades as the marginal driver.
5. The central bank is actually "intentionally not flooding the market excessively"
Don’t interpret "low interest rates" as "the central bank ignoring the exchange rate." It’s actually the opposite:
- LPR not cut → avoids widening the inverted interest spread
- Midpoint rate control → smooths appreciation speed
- Policy stance: "no preset exchange rate target, no intervention in long-term trends"
- Prevents overshooting, maintains two-way fluctuations
In other words:
Internally, low rates support the economy; externally, conversions and dollar weakness support the exchange rate; both run in parallel without conflict.
6. Summary in one sentence
- Low interest rates → theoretically bearish for RMB ✅
- But the main reasons for this round’s RMB appreciation are:
1. Dollar index weakening
2. High trade surplus
3. Concentrated corporate conversions
4. Financial account outflows offset
5. Central bank stabilizing expectations, not chasing one-way moves
So it’s not "central bank low rates but RMB appreciates = contradiction," but that the depreciation effect of low rates is overshadowed by current account conversions and dollar weakness.$SNDK South Korean stock market opens higher! #韩股修复反弹,外资卖压能否缓解? Midterm Election Curse: From 71 Days to 1 Day, Will 2026 See a "Zero-Day Bottom"?
In 2014, the bottom was reached 71 days after the election; in 2018, 39 days; and in 2022, only 1 day. The bottom is rapidly converging. The decline percentages are also narrowing: -46.7%, -50.6%, -14.9% — the drop sharply reduced in 2022, possibly because the FTX collapse prematurely exhausted selling pressure.
If this trend continues, the 2026 bottom might appear before the November 3rd voting day, or even be a "zero-day bottom." Some analyses suggest the true low window is in October, with a rebound starting around the election day.
However, historical patterns may fail. The 2026 environment is completely different from the previous three cycles: the halving effect has significantly weakened, and institutions like Bitwise and Grayscale have publicly questioned whether the four-year cycle is still valid. The ongoing capital inflow into spot ETFs is shifting Bitcoin’s price-setting power from retail investors to institutions.
Another variable is regulation. If the Democrats win the House, Sean Casten, who holds a tough stance on crypto, may chair the Financial Services Committee, casting a shadow over the prospects of the CLARITY Act.
The "golden pit" scenario may not repeat. While the bottom is converging, the rules of the game are changing. The real focus should not be on election day, but on when liquidity will overflow again from the Treasury market.

For gold, the next consideration is to reduce some positions on rallies and wait to consider buying in batches when gold further declines 🤔
The main reason for reducing positions comes from the Federal Reserve's rate hike expectations, which suppress gold. Also, note that after the midterm elections, the US may launch strikes against Iran.
Although gold is a safe-haven asset and may rise in the short term, some funds are flowing into the US dollar. Moreover, if large-scale strikes occur, there will be concerns about inflation, which could lead the Fed to raise rates further and tighten liquidity, creating bearish factors for gold.

The densely packed "S" marks on the chart represent panic selling with bloodied chips.
The reasons for the sell-off are nothing new: Asian peers' DRAM technology has made rapid advances, scaring the market into worrying about the loss of pricing power in the memory sector, dragging the entire semiconductor sector into a collective dive.
But strangely, while retail investors are stampeding out, Wall Street is frantically picking up these bloodied chips!
Latest data shows that out of 25 analysts, 18 have given a "buy" rating, with an average target price implying over 50% upside, and some institutions firmly expecting a doubling. Where does this confidence come from? Institutions bluntly say: SNDK mainly focuses on the NAND track, not DRAM, so breakthroughs by peers do not pose an equivalent threat. Moreover, holding nearly 100 billion in super contract reserves is the strongest trump card for performance!
From the market perspective, the current RSI indicator has deeply fallen into the oversold zone (around 36), with strong support appearing near 1278, and the market is trying to stabilize around 1386. On the news front, AI-driven long-term storage demand remains a strong engine, and the heavy-hitting earnings report at the end of the month will be the decisive test for bulls and bears.

$TSLA $SNDK $TSLA delivery volume exceeded expectations, but the market might be asking the wrong question📉
Impressive delivery data does not necessarily mean the earnings report will beat expectations. More than the delivery volume itself, what’s worth watching is Tesla’s automotive gross margin, overall profitability, and management’s guidance for upcoming quarters.
Promotional price cuts can indeed boost sales, but if profit margins remain under pressure, selling more doesn’t necessarily mean earning more. This logic is especially critical now: market expectations for the energy business and autonomous driving have been traded back and forth many times, making it difficult for the earnings report to create a real surprise based on these two segments.
In other words, exceeding delivery expectations is just a ticket to enter; whether profitability truly recovers is the core variable determining the stock price direction. If gross margin improves quarter-over-quarter and guidance is not weak, the bullish thesis is confirmed; if profit margins continue to be eroded by price wars, the delivery good news may be quickly digested or even reversed.
For the crypto market, risk appetite for $BTC and $ETH often correlates with sentiment in U.S. tech stocks. If Tesla’s earnings fall short of expectations, it could suppress overall risk asset sentiment; conversely, if profitability recovery is confirmed, it could drive a resonant rebound in the tech sector and crypto market.
Personally, I remain cautious about this earnings report: exceeding delivery expectations is only the first step; a substantial rebound in profitability is the key. Do you think Tesla will beat expectations this time?📊
#TeslaQ3ProfitAndMargins The IEA's warning reaches beyond refinery throughput. September diesel and gasoil exports fell about 700,000 bpd year on year while disruption risks remain unresolved, so a year-end recovery in output may not quickly restore tradable supply.
Reserve releases can cushion a shock, but they cannot settle the uncertainty around lost capacity or export routes. That leaves fuel prices and inflation exposed into 2027.
#IEADieselShortageTo2027 "BTC, ETH, and SOL positions are all moving, I smell something" 📊
In the last two hours before settlement, I opened the position panel and counted three times.
BTC stands at 82169, up 1.45% in 24 hours. A major exchange's positions decreased by 1.51% in 24 hours, but the total network positions actually increased — short-term money is withdrawing, while money that isn't afraid to hold is coming in.
ETH climbed to 2445, up 3.72%. Positions decreased by 3.90% in 24 hours, withdrawing even more aggressively. 77.25 million was liquidated in 24 hours, all short positions.
SOL surged to 105.87, up 3.69%. 10.04 million was liquidated in 24 hours, also short positions.
Here's the insight: prices are all rising, but positions are withdrawing, and all liquidations are shorts. This is not leveraged longs pushing, but shorts disarming and spot buyers stepping in — short-term contract money is leaving, while money that isn't afraid to hold is entering.
Looking deeper: BTC liquidations in 24 hours reached 92.78 million, 60% of which were long positions — a sharp morning rally first liquidated chasing longs. After liquidating chasing longs, shorts were squeezed; both longs and shorts took a hit in one day, that's the grind of volatility.
💹 Key point: At 4 PM, 1.48 billion BTC options settle, with the pain point at 83000, current price still over 800 points away. The market maker will likely pull towards the pain point, but there's a strong resistance above.
My ant-sized position will stay put for now. The worst thing when positions rotate is to be jittery; after the pieces are moved, the board becomes clear. 🏁#NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins
I think $NFLX is going to beat them. The activation date for Alpenglow is set for around 15:00 UTC on October 21, which is around 11 PM Beijing time. The official page states it will complete within the first 5000 slots after the epoch starts, approximately 18 minutes. The final transaction confirmation time has been reduced from over ten seconds to about 150 milliseconds.
From early October until the upgrade announcement, the price has been retreating, and no one is holding firm on the contract side. On OKX, SOL contract open interest measured in USD was 415 million on October 5 and dropped to 365 million by the 16th, a 12% decrease. During the same period, the price fell from 121 to 106, about a 13% drop. When converting USD back to token count, both sides hover around 3.4 million tokens, with leverage neither withdrawn nor increased.
This is good news for the bulls. Typically, a rally driven by an upgrade sees open interest pile up first, then the news triggers a sell-off. This time, open interest did not increase, and the price has already pulled back somewhat. There is no batch of leveraged longs waiting to be liquidated during the upgrade week.
Therefore, the direction for $SOL around the 21st is biased bullish. It doesn't need to rise before going live; the price grinding between 105 and 108 with clean positions is a more comfortable starting point for the upgrade narrative.
Before the 21st, watching contract open interest around 3.4 million tokens means no one is rushing ahead. If the price barely moves but open interest jumps past 3.6 million, that indicates someone is starting to bet on the upgrade."Inflation isn't crazy, but credibility collapses first"
CPI 3.7%, Core 2.6%, PPI 6.3%, all red hot. Daly says "no urgency," Goolsbee says "wait for data," the market's only response: I'll handle it myself (¬_¬).
$BTC breaks the integer level then V-shaped rebounds, shorts cover + on-chain whales buy, ETF still sees net outflows, institutions haven't returned. The lower shadow looks like a band-aid, not a reversal. The trapped positions are thick; rebounds get sold off.
$ETH is worse, ETF bleeding, BlackRock leads the withdrawal. It's the institution's ATM; when BTC softens, it falls first. Low leverage, short covering might cause a rebound, but without ETF bleeding stopping, the bounce won't last (。•́︿•̀。).
$XAUT is different: when it drops, someone really buys. The fleeing are futures speculators; central banks/sovereign allocation are waiting below. Gold is bought on credit, not leverage.
Right now, it's not about trading rate hikes, but trading the Fed's credibility discount. If Waller keeps dodging, the market will vote with its feet. Crypto rebounds are liquidity illusions; gold is the one pricing in dollar credit easing ( ̄▽ ̄)~*.
#美国CPI与PPI双超预期,年内能否再加息?
#特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点
#ETF与巨鲸资金分化,BTC能否守住8万美元? #NetflixQ3AdsAndMargins Netflix's quarterly EPS is highly likely to exceed expectations, but surpassing revenue forecasts will be more challenging.
The core logic is: the company's own guidance ($0.82) is clearly set, and analyst consensus happens to be at or slightly above this level. As long as actual results fall within the guidance range, it is easy to meet or slightly exceed the "consensus" line.
Reasons supporting EPS beating expectations: BTC 81,272 | 82K lost again, what exactly is missing in this rebound?
BTC fell from 84K to 81K, with the rebound consistently unable to break through the selling pressure above. The core issue lies in macro factors and capital: US CPI and PPI both exceeded expectations, US Treasury yields remain high under the high interest rate regime, and rate cut expectations have completely cooled down. On October 14, spot BTC ETF saw a net outflow of $261 million (after an inflow of $176 million on the 13th), showing a one-day capital rotation; institutions are cautiously accumulating while buying demand lacks sustainability.
Technically, it is stuck in a "rebound—resistance—decline" vicious cycle. The 80K-81K range is the last support zone; holding and reclaiming 82K is necessary to recover to 83K-84K; if 80K is effectively broken, the short-term structure will weaken rapidly. The key is not a single candlestick but whether buying pressure can turn resistance into support.
Although the 10x perpetual contract in the chart closed with a +42.45% gain (from 77,993 to 81,446), the current brutal long-short squeeze leaves even whales walking on thin ice. The aftershocks of the PPI data have not dissipated; light positions, strict leverage control are survival rules—do not blindly try to catch the bottom. $BTC $ETH $ZEC The manipulative traders have already set their trap, beware! Beware!
What you think is a rebound is just the final bait to lure you in.
ZEC pulled back from 1071 to 1225, specifically to show those who think "the more it falls, the better the bottom".
Look at the 4-hour chart, the price is still pressed down by the middle Bollinger Band, with all the trapped positions between 1250 and 1300 above. Every time it tries to break through, it gets pushed down, and the volume keeps shrinking.
This is not a reversal; it's the manipulators testing the depth of buy orders below.
On October 15, ZEC plunged 13% to 1087, liquidating $20.09 million in leveraged positions, 88.7% of which were long positions.
This is not a natural market correction; it's a targeted liquidation of long leverage.
Look at the ETF side: Grayscale ZCSH had another net outflow of $1.7 million yesterday, with a total outflow exceeding $124 million over two weeks. The fund's total assets shrank from a peak of $980 million to less than $700 million.
Previously locked chips are being dumped back into the market batch by batch.
Keynes once said: "The market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent." So hold your short positions firmly; don't be fooled into selling out by fake bullish traps.

Advertising is indeed an important growth engine for Netflix's future, but "advertising growth" should not be simply understood as "immediate large profit growth." The advertising business needs to continuously expand user coverage, improve ad fill rates, and increase ad revenue per user, while also considering advertiser budgets, content investment, and operating costs. If the advertising business expands slower than expected, even if subscription revenue continues to grow, the market may downgrade its valuation of Netflix's future profitability.
I am more focused on three signals: first, whether the year-over-year revenue growth rate can be maintained; second, whether the operating profit margin continues to improve; third, whether management's subsequent guidance on the advertising business is sufficiently positive.
Regarding earnings season, I believe the most likely scenario is: good performance growth, but the stock price may not necessarily rise. If the market has already priced in optimistic expectations, and the earnings just meet expectations, funds may still choose to take profits; conversely, if the advertising business and profit margins exceed expectations, it is more likely to create new catalysts for a price increase.
There is also a practical factor: Netflix will release its Q3 earnings report after the U.S. market closes on October 20. The company previously gave revenue guidance of about $12.86 billion and an operating profit margin guidance of 33.2%. Besides looking at whether performance meets targets, the market will also pay attention to advertising revenue growth and whether the full-year performance targets have changed.
My view is: do not rush to bet on a one-sided direction before the earnings report; focus on the expectation gap. If revenue, profit margin, and full-year guidance all improve simultaneously, it is slightly bullish; Brothers, how do you feel about the roller coaster ride these past few days?
Currently, Bitcoin $BTC and Ethereum $ETH have entered a grinding phase after experiencing a decline and rebound. Essentially, this is a tug-of-war between macro pressure and chip clearing. BTC is repeatedly testing the $81,000 to $83,000 range, while ETH is struggling around $2,400 to $2,500.
The underlying logic of the grinding phase: it’s not panic, but "pending resolution"
The core contradiction in this grinding phase is that inflation data repeatedly suppresses rate cut expectations, yet the market has not seen a full-scale panic sell-off.
US PPI and CPI data have consecutively exceeded expectations, causing market bets on Fed rate hikes to heat up, which is the fundamental reason for suppressing risk assets. However, when Bitcoin retested around $81,000 three times, the realized loss on-chain showed a decreasing trend—October 12 was less than October 9, and although it expanded on the 15th, it was still below the 9th. This indicates that swing chips are gradually clearing out rather than a total collapse.
Another noteworthy signal is that Bitcoin’s Google search interest has dropped to a multi-year low, but keywords related to "cryptocurrency buying" have risen to a yearly high. Retail funds have not exited; they are just reallocating between Bitcoin and altcoins.
Current key positions
Bitcoin: $81,000 is the support zone confirmed by three tests, with short-term resistance between $82,800 and $83,700. If it breaks below $80,000, the next psychological level is around $79,600. Whales have been continuously accumulating during the decline, buying about 15,000 BTC within 72 hours.
Ethereum: The situation is more fragile than Bitcoin. $2,650 has shifted from support to resistance, and the 50-day moving average is suppressing near $2,492. Spot ETFs have seen continuous net outflows, with 11 out of the past 12 trading days showing outflows. If it closes below $2,492, it may test $2,321 or even $2,272. ETH’s long liquidation scale is almost equal to BTC’s, indicating higher leverage density in its derivatives, leading to more intense volatility.
Response strategy
In the short term, this is not the time for heavy bottom-fishing. The rebound is more driven by short covering and oversold repair rather than an influx of incremental buying. True bottom confirmation requires seeing: a continuous contraction in realized loss scale, ETF fund flows turning positive, and key resistance being broken with volume. Before that, controlling position size and strictly setting stop losses is more important than betting on direction.
Structurally, Bitcoin’s institutional demand base remains solid, with whales supporting near $81,000, making it a relatively favorable risk-reward observation area. Ethereum requires more patience—it needs not only macro warming but also a combined force of on-chain activity and ETF fund inflows; otherwise, the sustainability of the rebound is questionable.
The most important variables to watch are whether the 10-year US Treasury yield can fall back from above 5% and whether Bitcoin can effectively break through the $83,700 resistance. Only when both occur simultaneously can the grinding pattern be broken.
How to determine if an altcoin can be held long-term?
You can directly look at the sustainability of the market trend. Currently, the vast majority of altcoins in the market are on the gainers list today and the losers list tomorrow. These altcoins are purely manipulated by pump-and-dump operators who pull the price up to sell off, taking whatever profit they can, such as ZKC, ZKP, TUT, POL. The project teams have basically given up, and the manipulators still hold coins, using the market rally to pump and dump to willing buyers.
Altcoins with sustainable market trends indicate that the project teams have not abandoned the project and are still following the overall market trend, such as AAVE, UNI, ZEC, NEAR, MORPHO, LINK, AERO, and so on. These are blockchain infrastructure and hotspot projects. These altcoins can relatively be held for a medium to long-term position, meaning holding through a full market cycle.
Choosing altcoins now is very important. If both the project team and manipulators have abandoned the project, holding long-term means playing through another cycle in vain. If the 80,000 support level really breaks, there could be room down to 75,000 or even lower; some people have already started calling for an extreme case of 65,000. But for now, this wave looks more like a normal correction after high-level leverage has been cleared, rather than a complete trend reversal. As long as there isn't another strong macroeconomic shock, there is still a chance for a rebound, though the pace will be slower and it might grind for a while first. The conspiracy is here, the conspiracy is here.
The news about the NU7 upgrade, not announced early or late, but deliberately released when ZEC dropped from 1697 to 1071 and retail investors just took their losses.
The timing is just perfect, fitting together seamlessly.
Do you really think this is good news? Go check the chain.
In the past three days, over $12 million worth of ZEC has been withdrawn from exchanges and transferred to several newly created wallets.
The withdrawal addresses have no history, no labels, and no staking activity.
This doesn’t look like hoarding; it looks more like preparing chips in advance for some move.
Now look at the derivatives market. ZEC’s total contract open interest surged 17% in 24 hours, with open contracts rising from $420 million to nearly $500 million.
But the price only bounced from 1071 to 1225, a 14% increase, while open interest increased so much.
This indicates both bulls and bears are aggressively adding positions, and the bears have not retreated.
If it were a clean reversal, the bears would have been driven out long ago. But they’re still here.
I entered a short at 1422, with a floating profit of 417%, and I’m not in a hurry to exit. Because if it dares to surge to 1300, I’ll add to my short position and keep rolling it.
Every so-called high-level rebound is just the dog whales handing entry tickets to the bears.
Let’s wait and see how NU7 plays out on the 20th.
